I’ve seen a LOOOOT of Vergil fight showcases and I can say this is without a doubt the best one that I’ve seen. It just feels like a proper fight and beat down compared to a lot which is just a showcase of the best combo that person can do. You never use the same trick or sequence twice, the whole thing has a seamless flow to it. It feels like this is Nero at the end of his journey with all the skills he learned along the way, his power fully awakened, and the anger he feels toward his father come full front, and he just pops on his song and gets in the zone to make himself heard. This. Is. ART! And kudos to you for making it!!

Well, we all know we are gonna get a "Definitive/Special Edition" version on next gen console. DMC 5 sold 5+ mil copies. No way Capcom won't release additional content for it. I hope we get an actual play through of Vergil, like his own story and stuff before he was V. A continuation of Vergil's story after DMC 3 where he got stuck in Hell and turned into Nelo Angelo and how he escaped. Don't make him into another "Vante" from DMC 3.
He probably learned in this year to even put fights like those in first place. Im not talking about reflex or combos as those are laughably easy, he knows many moves I didnt even know were possible on this fight like a fucking dropkick Vergil in dash.
I like the demeanor the player plays Nero with in this video. The walking and calm movements are almost a testament to how powerful Nero has become, showing no fear in the face of a man with the fully realized power of Sparda, and a true Demon King as well in Vergil.
Nero is literally now in league with the most absolutely powerful Devils in DMC lore, rivalled only by his father, uncle and possibly grandfather (at his prime). Such power must be exhilarating, possibly intoxicating for the young Devil Hunter. Think about the fact that a big baddy, ruler of the underworld, prince of darkness like Mundus is nothing more than an afternoon snack for current Nero.
Nero, power wise, is such a... "peculiar" case, in the novels it has been confirmed that "strenght wise", like, raw, brute strenght, Nero is absolutly stronger than Dante, but he lacks the finesse, arsenal, experience and demonic power that Dante had at that time (dmc4) Then, in dmc5, around 5-6 years after the events of 4, Nero is more experienced, has some cool new arms and a fully functional Devil Trigger, a Devil Trigger that, different from Dante and Nero, does not require a Devil Arm...weird, right ? With that, he was able to fight and defeat Vergil, a """possibly""" weakened version of him, given that he was already fighting Dante before, but Vergil nonethless, that, WITHOUT NERO EVER RECIEVING A """ POWER UP""". Nero just upped his arsenal with the devil breakers and unlocked potential with the Devil Trigger, but different from Dante and Vergil, that have been collecting power for ages now, Nero never got something that "made him stronger" on that sense. Ma' BOi here with a revolver and a Vroom Vroom sword defeated Vergil (Nero didn't even had Devil Breakers on the cannon fight), it makes you wonder how powerful Nero can actually become in the future
I mean . . . At this point in the series with how much the Spardas have grown so far, including Nero, Mundus and any of the other baddies ain't batshit against the three of them or even one of the three at all

I've never played DMC 5 but a big fan of 4 for a year now. Honed Nero for a couple of months and got good enough to beat the BP in less than 2 hours. Nero in 5 is fucking awesome. I would love to get a hang of him sometime in the forture. The quality of this content is gold

The sheer amount of nerves needed to execute all those moves at the right time to get that perfect result is mind-blowing! THIS is what I call a curbstomp battle, and the ending cinematic just makes it all the more epic!
the key to this choreographed play style is the assortment of devil arms, it was very deliberate and well-rehearsed, and practiced. This guy/girl may have played at least 200- game sessions to attain this level of skill, he/she is a perfect RG user as well, as evidenced by his/her timely interception of vergils rush attacks. The pacing is very good where you can see every action leads to the next move even stronger in terms of visual impact. It's like doing a fluid combo, it doesn't look rigid. I like how Nero just walks coz in reality you do run out of breath if you rush in. You take your time as if you're in the fighting ring observing your opponent.

The pacing is very good where you can see every action leads to the next move even stronger in terms of visual impact. It's like doing a fluid combo, it doesn't look rigid. I like how Nero just walks coz in reality you do run out of breath if you rush in. You take your time as if you're in the fighting ring observing your opponent.
