I ignored all the complaints of this game and decided to formulate my own opinion. This is 9/10 or something like that for me. My problems are only the lack of full armor customization, rememberable colors, no playable Elites (Yet?), and the lack of playlists. However, despite those negatives, the gameplay is absolutely fun and every time it never gets boring, even playing the same map and gametype three times in a row. They've learned from their mistakes, and the game is just going to keep getting better. I only hope the community doesn't abandon this game like Halo 4 though, this is truly the best experience with FPS I've had since Halo 3/Reach.
they probably won't be abandoning this any time soon since the only problem for most was the campaign. Since they are adding new maps for free, then forge, and more playlists. BTB is the only one I know of but they have so many that should be easy to implement. snipers doubles ect

Just think about it for a few minutes and you'll see the similarities. The story also makes no sense with everything that was already happening in the Halo Universe at this same time. Chief was supposed to be already gone rogue, Chief jumped in and attacked the embassy on Bico during the peace talks alone to save the sanghellli ambassador. A few months later, Chief was announced dead as him abd blue team were running about a planet under attack by a guardian. What do we see in the game? Blue Team is happily doing the UNSC's business ( except for Chief because he's not coping well) Chief disobeys to find Cortana (which apparently is the only case he's gone rogue), boards the Guardian, watches as it slaughters people on Meridian, and bam, he's at Genesis. Honestly, I could've told a far more interesting story fir 5 based on the key points alone.
Vurtax Chief was refusing to return to infinity, so he would be considered awol for negating orders. The whole reason for the hunt the truth marketing was that you don't know exactly what is going on, and the game will explain what was really happening, which it did. They still thought the Guardians were being activated by Chief due to his hunt for Cortana.
It's great to see how you guys work and try really hard to make sure that your game is the best and what the fans want, my personal favorite halo is halo reach, best multiplayer for me
I can't wait to get that pistol. I love seeing 343 bringing back old things while also developing newer abilities to keep Halo alive. I think 343 has done nothing but improved my halo experience since I first played CE.
The CE Magnum, Gravity Hammer, SPNKr Rocket Launcher is great news. I think that the Plasma Rifle should also make a come back as an ultra rare card as well.

Warzone is a simulation for Spartans to familiarize themselves with any combat scenario as authorized, so it's not stupid to think that they'd add old enemy tech into the war games.

The video was about the crusades and the battles between Islam and Christianity, but it was narrated by Keith David. At first I didn't notice but then I was like "Hell yeah! I sat for hours listening to you talk about religion so now I'll do it again!" That made the assignment worth while. Anyone else think that having Keith David(voice actor for Arbiter Thel 'Vadam) as a narrator would make a boring documentary better?
i was thinking of evolving a new gamemode from warzone and ctp, but different is that two team capture a base like warzone, then spawn flags in both base. Two teams must place their flags on others base while Marines are like minions in titanfall of every other MOBA, providing fire support and attack waves. Neutral Promethens or Covenant can spawn in different place in map, or even an major incursion or invasion force. Maps can be design as trenches, or a river between two side, giving a cinematic of the battle. Explosion, corpses, chunks of destroyed vehicles, littering on no man's land or river or beach wtever makes it feel cinematic. This way mapping can be simplified yet providing a cinematic experience. Imagine Spartans leading their marine with their flag, charging through open field of fire, using vehicles as cover, then finally set their flag on the others base. This feels more like warzone.
I don't know what it is. Maybe it is due to new people being hired, or better play testing feedback, but the level design for both maps and campaign levels feel sooo much better than 4. Also, bless their souls for the CE pistol.
The cyrotube is probably real though. If not, then it would actually probably come in the near future. And it would be awesome if whenever your in it, it stops you're aging process. IMMORTALITY
I really wish 343 took some forgers to help them with the breakout maps. They would've been more capable of offering constructive criticism, and I'm sure the maps would've turned out better. They're not bad maps (Well, Crossfire is pretty weak), they just would benefit from some tweaks that most forgers would've identified early in design. But it's clear that the pros didn't really have much say on them, because every map isn't Midship.
9:50 um there was a specmap, that also was used as a rough normap dude. I saw it in the files my self. even the unity 3d engine sees as a spec and a normap map...
Normal maps on dynamic objects are not supported in the Halo 1 build of the blam engine. Objects had a "multipurpose map" that used its individual rgba channels for various things such as auxiliary and self illumination. The blue channel was used as a reflection map, for controlling the opacity of cubemaps, and it could be manipulated into crudely simulating a rough normal map, but it was a broken effect that did not give much depth.

They should bring back the plasma rifle as a mystic, or legendary variant for the storm rifle. I would like to see some weapons from previous halos brought back. And possibly even old weapon skins? Such as the Legendary BR, and the Legendary AR, etc. Who agrees?
This wouldn't make it SUPER op because you can't refill the ammo and weapons disappear not too long after they are dropped, you also have to be skilled landing head shots to use it to its full effectiveness
Where is the Halo CE magnum?. It's not with the weapon skins but Kelly's shotgun, Linda's sniper and the prophets bane are. Will it be added in a later Update?. I did see a magnum that just looked like it had parts missing.
every halo with a scoped BR and scoped pistol had x2 scopes what would change? If anything putting the sights version of the precision rifles makes it uneven . I'm not saying anything crazy like attachments that make the weapons stronger like CE pistol 3sk but a variations that are more traditional like scopes instead of modern ads
