I don't think most people realize how hard it is to sing live and dance at the same time. And he's doing it effortlessly the entire show. Fast movements and full on chest singing. The first half of this tour was his prime. Excellent stamina.

With the exception of a few off nights he mostly sustained this level of performance right up to the end of the Bad Tour but unfortunately the best concerts from the second leg are only available as poor quality audio recordings filmed by audience members.

@@Neezabja After the first leg of Bad his voice was clearly in decline. Victory was the start of vocal issues but he could still access his upper registers with ease. 79-87 was his best adult vocals.

@@AfricanThinker86 Leg 2 shows were some of his career's finest but the best ones like Cologne, Barcelona and New York to name but a few are only available as audio bootlegs. There was more choreo so his delivery isn't as smooth as leg 1 but still volume, pitch and diction are excellent. Apart from Toronto and the final night in LA Victory was a mess vocally, there were pitch issues all over the place and the high notes on Billie Jean and Human Nature were often in the wrong key. He barely had time to rehearse for Victory and that's reflected in his performance.

He's actually singing fully here. He's focused on his vocal just as much as his dancing....which he tended to focus more on his dancing at this point in his career. This is amazing. He sounds really good. He sounds like Michael Jackson on his A game.

That was also because his health started to deteriorate rapidly after the Bad Tour. Having done that his whole life and having two autoimmune diseases can take a toll on your body, and not many singers are or were giving this much in every single show. Todays singers don’t even give as many dates, they have autotune and all kind of technical equipment to distract the audience from their performance. If you think he never used in - ear microphones you’ll get an idea of the difficulty of these shows.

@@alisagrant1134 You can tell by Wembley he'll not go as hard always, preferring to save his voice for something like the best screams in human nature of any performance. He still had it, but 87 when he was fresh, not overtoured as hell, was special for this reason. He did take less time even if just slight later on.

It was something about this point in Mikes life around the Tokyo / Asia concerts and visit where He just had such a zen yet powerful burst of energy to him. Something around this time that breathed so much life into him. He was so sure of himself and exuded so much personality.

Blessed to see him perform with his brothers in1984. The Victory Tour it was Awesome 🥰 I went with my Mom ❤️ It was in Vancouver Canada. It was in November.After that they went to LA to finish the Tour. Little did we know while watching them perform that they would only perform together another 8 times. Of you don't care that anniversary MSG special they did later on. Truly special times I'll never forget the crowd erupting to Michael doing the Moonwalk 🌌✨🌌 He gave it his all to give us a great show ! Thanks Michael !!
