Did he perform it on a separate night in Wembley?? bc as we know he took it out the setlist for "respect" for Princess Diana. also it seems like a difficult song to perform, which is saying a lot if he has "trouble" performing it.@@johnjordan8118
That's because he was performing in front of Queen Diana, and she asked him to play that one even though he was going to leave it off out of respect for the Queen
I mised this at Wembley as was tok young... Went to Leeds dangerous and Wembley history...... As great as they were. This performance is from another world❤
I was there that magical night aged 25 (I’m 56 now!) He gave his all in front of us at Wembley Stadium with Prince Charles and Diana R.I.P in the audience too - His Legend and music are timeless, like the eternity where his soul resides R.I.P Michael 🙏🏼
I always think that. I was 7 at the time and my mum, older sisters and aunty and uncle went. I was so mad they wouldn't take me and remember running into my mum's bedroom the following morning and she got me a tour T-shirt and programme. Although that helped a little I still can't forgive and wish I could take myself back there!
I totally agree live singing and dancing at the same time is very draining but Michael Stamina and endurance is breath taking for 2and a half hours on stage bruhhhhh what musician in this current age does this ?????? Nobody Michael tie was when music was music feeler with emotions and hard work Long Live Michael Jackson ❤️
Michael Jackson was in shape... I have NEVER heard or seen somebody do a live concert with all that dancing and real singing the whole time by their damn self. Nobody but MJ could pull that off which is the reason why he was unmatched when it came down to performing...
I really love watching him perform in his concerts. You can see his perfectionism. He is so conscious of everything, from music, back up singers, even the stage. You can see how his face change whenever he sensed something was wrong. He has his own way of communicating with the productions team.
I missed this as was too young... Went to dangerous and history.....my aunts and uncles went to all them and said this performance was his best show on earth...... I've since watched this about 300 times. ❤
There have been 31 years, but no artist has touched this performance and will not be able to touch it ... Michael will remain the greatest entertainer of all time forever!!!
I can't get over how the hell he sang like this and there was near non-stop motion for TWO HOURS. The stamina that takes. No wonder he suffered from chronic pain later in life. He pushed himself SO HARD to please his fans & remain at the top.
I don't mean this as an insult, but his concert's are an over the top musical extravaganza for real. He definitely gave you your money's worth and they'll NEVER be another one like him
I can’t even climb a normal flight of stairs without losing my breath- to imagine performing at this level while singing like THAT. What a gift Michael had to captivate us with his talent and spirit.
Whoever had the idea to film this concert must be awarded. It clearly showcases the essential MJ: smartly dressed, killer choreography, pristine vocals, and more importantly, mesmerizing showmanship
He had all his shows professionally recorded, which is why we need more BAD tour shows released, yet the estate is holding them secret still. Don't believe that this is the only existing one found from MJ's VHS tapes.
@@hanzobi1926 glad to know. I hope it doesn't happen like Queen's shows where the best ones were not visually recorded, only audio, but Brian May would not release them.
@Jan Sobieski yeah I love Elvis' voice. I find it really sad of Elvis fans showing their need to compete on other artists' videos. I feel it shows lack of class and great lack of appreciation of talent. Like Mike, they both sounded great even just before death. I don't like it when people say artists are lip syncing when they clearly are not so I wrote this to let people know. And here, we can enjoy MJ doing his incredible live with his unparalleled incredible dance versatility too. Moving through popping, locking, ballet turns, spins, robot. We are here to appreciate this. Clearly you like Elvis better and feel the need to try to compete and compare on other artists' pages. I just think that's sad, especially comparing to such a differently talented artist like MJ 🙄
@Jan Sobieski yes THIS is how it should be. Artists that actually have talent. His live vocals are incredible. I'll be honest with you though, if there's anyone who I forgive for lip syncing in later years, it is MJ 🤣 considering the number of shows, countries, years, moves and the fact that what he did live was still superb (minus terrible laryngitis moments) but he was always better live in my opinion. His ability to nail his vocals while dancing is truly awesome 😁
I have never seen a man so blessed and so cursed. Cannot imagine what his life was like.. with the highest highs and the lowest lows. Triumph and tragedy.. Stuff of legends.

That dance he does in the spotlight at the end of human nature is incredible, so inventive and dramatic, it is completely otherworldly. We won't ever see another like him
The strange thing is (and I’ve no doubt others who saw him on this tour like me will attest) the footage here doesn’t even come close to how magical and awe-inspiring these shows were. That moment in particular was stunning, and here it’s nothing like I remember it. It was intense and moving all at the same time. I think it’s just the way it was captured on film. Still a wonderful document to have though all the same. Let’s hope they locate the Master tapes some day for some of the other shows. Hard to believe that they managed to salvage this from his VHS!l copy!
As a person who runs 4 days at week I can only imagine how hard it is controlling your voice after those moves. Wow. World will never have such a combination: Extraordinary voice and amazing dancing skills. A model that inspired and will inspire generations of singers
@@kod999many people think he was physically weak because he was skinny but he wasn't even though he was lanky he had muscles and was very strong. There's a video of mj effortlessly picking up a fan. He was also an excellent swimmer.
@@hesfreddiemercury the fact of MJ being the absolute best of all time in performing, singing, dressing, dedicating to his music and audience doesn't mean that there weren't other great artists, there were, just not as perfect as him
I'm a performer & I have watched many talented showmen but Michael Jackson always tops the list. Not only does he energize the band he captures everyone's attention & hangs onto it still to this day...
One of the best, if not the best concert of MJ, just because he sang everything, no playback and the music was played live. Truly an amazing concert. The whole Bad Era was his peak in my opinion.
During that era, concerts were very pure and focused on the singer. No visual effects, no special lights and booming here and there unlike what we see today. For 1 single person to entertain 72k for a straight 2 hrs. If he isn't a legend, i seriously won't know how to describe MJ. The love he brought to the world and the music he gave us will be totally irreplaceable. I can't believe after more than 10 years, the world still misses him.
My favorite mj concert, he was such a badass here. I think he tried extra hard because he knew Princess Diana was in the crowd watching. 2020 Quarantine and mj is still entertaining us. Michael Jackson forever.
Akire Kelly MJ Impersonator no, dirty Diana was princess Diana’s favorite song, she convinced him to perform it. He said it in an interview a couple of weeks later.
This guy is a freaking force of true nature nobody can stop him even though the allegations will fade away in front of this man's powerful showmanship! !! Rip king ur truly one of a kind .
I remember where I was when I heard he died. That and 9/11. He is legend. We should have known. All the super talented people die young. I really wish I had seen him live. Was too busy w my life & being young and back then there was a LOT of stigma that came w liking him.q
People do not realise how difficult it is to both sing and dance at the same time in the intensity that MJ does here for hours. Most of todays performers could reach this intensity maybe for around 2 songs before they are completely gassed out and done for the day. This performance here is on another level.
When this DVD dropped, I was at my nearest retail store with the biggest smile on my face. Screw those lies, the haters, all the negative vibes about MJ. Long live the amazing legacy that is the King of Pop!!
I remembered this Concert, I visited London from Jamaica during that time. My Uncle was a security guard at Wembley Stadium. We lived in Chalk Hill Estates closeby. He told me that the tickets were too expensive, I was so sad because he was my hero. I was 16yrs old at the time, but I listened to the show all night.. The Brits Camped out for days waiting for the day that he arrived...I'm now 49, and I remembered it like it was yesterday.

Man I wish i was alive during the 70s/80s so I could’ve gone to all these concerts. This time period is when some of the best musicians and bands lived.
I was. I'm fifty now and I still can remeber and see every frame of him. I was 18 when I saw this concert on TV. Nevertheless, I've never seen on on stage for real. Anyway, we all can still see and hear him everywhere.
I'm 40 and the closest I came to meeting MJ was the superbowl halftime show,( in which i was in). I was 12 at the time, and my school along with several other elementary schools in the Socal area were chosen. We all came out right before the "Jam" song. My biggest memory was not the halftime show, but seing MJ in all the daily rehearsals. I literally made history by being in the NFL's 1st ever superbowl halftime show. He was the highlight of my childhood.
I worked on the security team at the stadium and therefore had the pleasure of seeing all the Wembley shows of the Bad Tour. Micheal was amazing. Every step every action and every speech /ad lib was rehearsed and performed exactly without error on every occasion. Great music, great concerts, great memories. Thank you for posting xxx
ive seen him live twice at Wembley , I was 20 years of age at the time I was lucky enough to be only 15ft from the stage so I watched up close and personal perfection some singers well most of todays don't sound good live or there just mouthing the words but Michael was even better live than when you listen to his music at home . I was one of the privileged ones to see him live .now in my 50s I still remember those days like it was yesterday while typing this im smiling wishing I could go back to those days x
This man stood on his feet for 2 hours plus and never dulled the energy. Work ethic , professionalism and energy 100 percent. He truly cannot be replaced !!!!
Dennis, I knew of Michael Jackson, I've heard his music, I read the book about his life...but I never experienced him in concert until watching this !!! He really was a phenomena .... there is or ever will be one Michael Jackson !
The man was carved and whipped into a perfectionist thanks to his father ever since he was like 8. A 2 hour show for Mike especially at his peakest era is nothing for him.
@@leviksd Sad but true. I was a lil sad that he stood this long, like where is the breaks? I know he was hot af & you can tell by all the sweating he was doing.
His vocals... he is dancing his life away and singing at the same time. He sacrifices a bit of pronunciation but there's so much details and soul in his voice... this is hands down the best music show of all mankind history. And my 5th comment on this video and around my 75th watch.
This is not only a concert, it's one of his best live performances. Imagine that this was only one of the hundreds of hyper-fantastic concerts he did on that tour, he was literally doing one of these three to four time a week for two years. His energy had no limits, what an artist❤
No words to describe Michael Jackson’s genius. His talent was supernatural. I’m so glad these performances were captured on camera. People can say what they want about this man, but he’s quite simply the greatest entertainer of all time as far as I’m concerned. RIP MJ.
In simplistic terms. We probably will never find another human being that finds sheer joy in exerting the amount of high energy that Mike did. It was like he was doing this for god. It’s just astounding to witness.
This man didn't run out of energy the whole concert. Omg he's so so so so so good at that time. He literally shook the time he ruled over the music industry. If he would be an artist of today's generation nobody would be on the top except him. Even now people know and remember his name. He left a legacy that can never be erased. He was and is so huge and big. Never a star like him ever born.
Yeah, we all wondered if YOU approved. So, good to know. It’s changed my whole outlook on the show now. No joke. I guess I can give the video a thumbs up then. Thanks.
I consider THIS ERA his vocal & physical best. Stage performance, dance move repertoire & execution of moves(even when he was just flowing with the rhythm aside from the choreographed sets). The way this man was able to Move and become one with the rhythm is just extraordinary. Many impersonators come close but his sharpness and crispness especially in the Bad era is yet to be "copied" successfully. He was TOTALLY In HIS element in the Bad Era
Did you want to make someone laugh? Did you want to make a nice joke? Unfortunately it doesn’t make anyone laugh and your statement is simply disgusting and devoid of meaning. Michael Jackson is an innocent man, acquitted of all kinds of accusations, just inquire, it doesn’t take long. But, I realize that it is easier for the ignorant to point the finger and judge, than to inquire. Thanks to people like you, the world is definitely bad. Goodbye.

But you want to realize that you've pretty much taken from fake news? You are trying to take some facts by blaming a man who has been tried and for which INNOCENT came out, do you know what it means to be INNOCENT? Do you know what a process is? You know what that means? You know that the FBI has been investigating for years on Michael Jackson, releasing all online surveys and confirming that nothing has been found, that no evidence has ever been found. You have reported only the things that have been written, but if only you informed us about everything you wrote, you would discover so many things that you do not know, or perhaps you do not want to know. If you were a coherent person, would try to inquire on both sides, without firing sentences. But, then again, the ignorant are called ignorant because they ignore things.
You're recycling a lie peddled by Jacko fantards that the FBI investigated and exonerated him. They only provided technical assistance to the police. They did not undertake a full federal investigation.
Illustraful Hey, you're simply losing sight of, whatever the investigative action, by any federal body, has brought nothing, no facts, no proof. Do you know what he brought? To the final verdict where we read that Michael Jackson is innocent, it seems to me that this is a fact. I really do not want to insist, because unfortunately people when they are convinced of something tend to do everything to say their own, I invite you only to look at both aspects, you say you have to look at those things who accuse Michael Jackson, right? Well, I advise you to read the thousands of testimonies of those who knew MJ and described a wonderful person, to take the things you wrote and analyze to the bottom to read and hear more voices, that's all, just this. It is easy to rely on media propaganda, and point the finger at a human being who has given his life to charity. We want to realize that here we are talking about a human being? I repeat, I do not want to insist, but it is not fair to judge someone who has been acquitted. And if you really want to point the finger, I repeat, listen to two bells, not just one. Because only one is media propaganda, but listening to different ones gives you a different vision, just so you can have a complete view of everything. Good evening.
I often said that MJ feels the music in every cell of his body, he doesn’t just hear it. Too bad we couldn’t go back to 2009 and save him. I do believe he was right telling Janet that they (AEG) was going to murder him just to get their hands on that publishing catalog. That Dr didn’t serve that much time in prison for his death. I believe he was paid off to overdose him and casually walk out of the bedroom where MJ had the life drain out of him. He was a musical genius and there will never be anyone to replace him. So sad. I watch these concerts over and over. He was so loved by millions of people all over the world and he died feeling lonely. 😢
The same could be said by Elvis Presley but he got ridiculed etc.for moving his hips. So much love for the music in them by these two explosions of talent, Elvis Presley & Michael Jackson.May they R.I.P. & fly forever in heaven.❤️🙏
He really has no peer. Soft and gentle offstage, intense and masterlike onstage.Sings live, dances, performs and controls the stage. Artists like this will never be seen again. Shame how his name has been tarnished lately..
@@esecallum 1:56:10 listen to this and onwards, he sung this whole tour live for 2hours straight. it's amazing how his voice is identical to the recordings, seriously what a god given talent.
The most misunderstood man in popular music. This performance alone puts MJ in genius territory. He stands shoulder to shoulder with those who changed dance thru history. But as we have seen in other spectular artists, with unbelievable talent coms heartache and pain.
Hands down the greatest singer and entertainer in history. Two hours in and he was still dancing with energy off the charts and still had perfect pitch in every song. NOBODY can do that. NOBODY!
It's so painful to watch these videos of MJ giving his life to the stage with every breath he had. The amount of energy combined in strength and endurance while maintaining such skill is something most will never understand. I was a studio/touring gun for almost 40 years and have played 3 hour sets and I was wiped clean. when you want to do something so badly as he did but suffer from exhaustion both mental and physical along with level 11 pain it's hard not to turn for relief in any way you can. MJ was never a drug addict; he was simply reaching at everything he could to keep him entertaining all of us doing what he loved most. MJ will remain king of POP 4ever and his kind spirit will never fade as long as the earth turns! RIP MJ you are sorely missed!
Say what you want but this tour was his best he did. The engergy, the moves, the musicians what a great team he had around him then. And damm, those vocals ! Killer killer vocals just about in every song and every line he sings amazing. Total vocal control of his voice. From song to song. Nowadays you will not see this level of entertainment anymore. Period. A killer performer and a killer singer with great songs.
@Crossfire well they can since there's video proof of him walking off stage in the final LA show & him telling a reporter it's his final tour & he doesn't plan on doing another one
The greatest performer the world has ever seen. He was on a whole different level. I was born in 1964 and I feel privileged to have lived my 20s during Michael Jackson's best years. The decade of the 80s was the best ever on so many levels
I was born in 81. I was too young to remember the early 80s but the late 80s were pretty cool. TV shows, movies and cartoons. Also, at that time and in the 90s, I got to watch alot of TV shows and cartoons that were way before my time like I Love Lucy, Gidget, I Dream Of Jeannie, The Three Stooges, the 50s tv show of Superman, Woody Woodpecker, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Looney Tunes, Dick Tracy and a whole lot of others. I really miss those days.
This. Shit. Is. Insane. NO ONE performs like this man did. I mean... it's unreal. God bless Michael Jackson. I hope he knows how much we appreciate him!
Look at it from the perspective that Michael Jackson was the "Archangel Michael" prophecied about in the Bible. At around 7:20 timestamp you can hear him say "Jesus is real for He who does not know" and then takes a step forward and shouts as prophesied in 1 Thesselonians 4:16
I would have fainted just from seeing his performances and presence, woke up cried and then ran onto the stage and hugged him and im a straight mascular man but there is just something different about michael jackson than any other artist ever.
No matter how hard they try remove him from the history , it will never be possible ! He is and will remain the greatest performer of this century . A true showman , one of his kind !
9:03 couldn’t agree more. It’s just sad media destroyed his image. They often do that until now (character assassination) it’s so sad that social media is not present during the time when the media keep destroying his image. Maybe lots of people will defend him.

If I could go back in time just once, this MJ 1988 Wembley Concert would 100% be the place I would go
I always think that. I was 7 at the time and my mum, older sisters and aunty and uncle went. Although that helped a little I still can't forgive and wish I could take myself back there!

Michael Jackson was in shape... I have NEVER heard or seen somebody do a live concert with all that dancing and real singing the whole time by their damn self. Nobody but MJ could pull that off which is the reason why he was unmatched when it came down to performing...
Troy Delaune Freddie Mercury was the same way.
Mark Howland don’t get me wrong, Freddie was great but he was not doing all the moving that mike was doing.
I really love watching him perform in his concerts. You can see his perfectionism. He is so conscious of everything, from music, back up singers, even the stage. You can see how his face change whenever he sensed something was wrong. He has his own way of communicating with the productions team.

I can't get over how the hell he sang like this and there was near non-stop motion for TWO HOURS. The stamina that takes. No wonder he suffered from chronic pain later in life. He pushed himself SO HARD to please his fans & remain at the top.

RIP MJ🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 LOVE YOU ❤️🙏🏽
Yes.
B it to h
I so absolutely 100% agree !!
Indeed!!!
This is Michael Jackson.
I can't look at him without tears 😢
I felt so sad whenever I watch his u tube concert.
I utterly concur!
@@whythenumber21everywhere6 Neither can I!!
Se o Michael Jackson estivesse vivo, será que ele ainda estaria fazendo shows. A madona ainda está nos palcos e acredito que eles tem a mesma idade.
December 2024 and I still watch MJ videos. He really is the best and greatest of all time ❤ took way too soon 😢
I consider this performance the pinnical of Michaels career. His appearance, vocals, dancing & showmanship were at its peak. The GOAT.
@@clementine2001 he already did … for many years🤨
Yeah, we all wondered if YOU approved.

Love you, Michael, from the bottom of my heart. #MJInnocent
Goodbye.
FACT: Jordan Chandler drew an illustration of the underside of Jacko's penis and it matched the photos police took.
FACT: Jacko paid $23 million to Chandler the night before he was due to be questioned in a deposition.
FACT: Jacko paid $2.5 million to Jason Francia, who said Jacko sexually abused him.
FACT: Police found the fingerprints of boys on porn magazines in Jacko's bedroom along with his own fingerprints.
FACT: Police also found dolls dressed in bondage gear and with ball gags in their mouths. These dolls were on display in full view of children in the bedroom.
FACT: Police found an art book called Boy: A Photographic Essay, filled with hundreds of photos of naked boys.
FACT: Jacko had members of South Central gangs brought over to Neverland in 1993 to intimidate staff during the first round of allegations.
FACT: Jacko hired private investigator Anthony Pellicano, known for his thuggish tactics, in 1993. Pellicano intimidated the parents of other boys who'd been abused. The parents refused to cooperate with police as a result. Pellicano later stopped working for Jacko because he said he discovered Jacko really was a paedophile.
FACT: Jacko's defence team never denied that he slept 30 nights in a row with Jordan Chandler at Chandler's house.
Enjoy the concert, fantards.
“Once the music plays, it creates me. The instruments move me, through me, they control me.” -Michael Jackson
WOW! Yes Micheal, YOU WERE THE INSTRUMENT! Just irreplaceable! ♥️♥️♥️🌻🌻🌻😘😘😘🙏🙏🙏
@@joycepuzak4309 ohhh if only I can get my hands on that doctor UGH!!!!
The same could be said by Elvis Presley but he got ridiculed etc.for moving his hips. So much love for the music in them by these two explosions of talent, Elvis Presley & Michael Jackson.May they R.I.P. & fly forever in heaven.❤️🙏

It's crazy how many people come back this concert. This concert is legendary
Always, bro
The greatest ever
He really has no peer. Soft and gentle offstage, intense and masterlike onstage.Sings live, dances, performs and controls the stage. Artists like this will never be seen again.
Shame how his name has been tarnished lately..

The most misunderstood man in popular music. This performance alone puts MJ in genius territory. He stands shoulder to shoulder with those who changed dance thru history. But as we have seen in other spectular artists, with unbelievable talent coms heartache and pain.

What a wonderful tribute ❤ same...😢
Michael jackson viva forever ❤
My thoughts exactly. RIP MJ - we will love you forever x

Forever, always treasure and honour Michael. A phenomenal remarkable human being and a humanitarian champion.
He planned this tour to be his last so he put everything into it.

Sorry, have to say: Rock With YOU - when it kicks in -- the SMILE on his face!!!
Singing live for most of it is insane... The whole production is timeless..... I've watched this about 100 times and still find my jaw on the ground
@@InjectzI bet he burned as much or more calories than the olympians I just watched in Paris.
I would have fainted just from seeing his performances and presence, woke up cried and then ran onto the stage and hugged him and im a straight mascular man but there is just something different about michael jackson than any other artist ever.
No matter how hard they try remove him from the history , it will never be possible !
