  • In this video, Tree House CEO & Head Brewer Nate Lanier demonstrates a few simple ways to enjoy a beer and the logic behind it.
    We also share a few tips on keeping the experience to your preference, like maintaining coldness for the beer at all times and rolling vs. not rolling refrigerated unfiltered IPA.
    This is not a definitive guide but merely a starting point for your own exploration and development of personal preferences.
    Have fun, and enjoy!

      I enjoy a good amount of foam that hopefully stays awhile in a glass that I choose from my collection of assorted style glassware mostly with no consideration for beer style unless I have the breweries exact glass.

      Almost a slow pour. Just not as much foam

    I was always curious about the different approaches with managing sediment. Typically I've either given it a bit of a roll, or just left the bottom out of my pour. Definitely going to give the swirl a try with a can of Surfcaster this afternoon! :)

      @@treehousebrewco Actually applied it tonight with some we had in our refrigerator. They have been tucked away for about a month, tried both methods, rolling and swirling in the can. Both worked well! Again, thank you!

    These videos are great. I noticed you mention you don’t shake or roll the cans, however, I recall in the Dataset series with the different yeasts you flipped a can. When do you use that approach? 🍻

    Just learned about this channel today after visiting Charlton to replenish my stock. I do have a question where I have gotten different answers and that is regard to freshness of all of your fresh beers. So....if kept cold all the time in best conditions, how long can your beers be stored before noticeable deterioration of flavor occurs? I used to brew IPA's for many years and my rule was about 3 months.

    Is it only I who calls the "sediment" flavor crystals?
    I like a mediocre shake, rest for a few minutes and then a slow pour.
    I've said since day 1 of having a Treehouse beer that their carbonation is different and always on point compared to other breweries.

  • @petergrant9259
    @petergrant9259 7 місяців тому

    I don't like rolling your beer, my only issue with Tree House is timing when to drink it... some of your beer tastes great the day it was canned, others improve by sitting still and letting some yeast settle. As you said, all personal preference. But no matter how well you try and explain the process, I do find some batches better then others. But you explain basically why... it's a living product made by man, not automation, and variables exist.....
