Incredible ping times for the Australian Steam servers from the UK of 3ms on Community Fibre!

this steam server PING is NOT from UK to Australia but it is actually from the pingserverstatus website to some server claiming to serve australia. That website doesn't give ping results from your machine to any server, this is a misconception and it is NOT made clear by whoever is running the site as they probably don't understand it as well.

thanks! currently have EE 70mb/s . tempted to go virgin for faster download but worried about ping for online gaming. this is very helpful! no idea when higher speeds from non-virgin in my area but not sure it's worth the risk going to virgin as i play fifa online!

Virgin is a rip off and the speeds are junk.

You can get 920 down and 920 up for the same price, better router & better response/ping. Makes complete sense, I just made the switch.
