Dave kept me from wasting my 20s in an aimless, self indulgent cloud of prolonged childhood. And he was totally right. 🙌💕
I met dave in my 20s and quickly realized his books only apply to people who already have money. If you are poor with no resources focus on making more money and don't worry about debt. Dave's plans will not help you until you increase your income.
@@ShermanWilliamsVideo I've heard that argument too, like "I don't budget because I make only enough money for essentials" but that is exactly the person who needs to be budgeting. And Dave goes over career development, side hustles, limiting housing and food and transporation costs to put as much money as possible towards debt. My husband and I were making very little money when we started but Dave's plan gave us a clear map for every pay raise and life change. Having a plan at all is preferred even if you're walking slowly in the beginning.

What I like about Alex is that he talks about the business side. Most finance channels focus on wealth accumulation, saving, and budgeting. But Alex doesn't sugarcoat it. If you want to be wealthy. Like wealthy wealthy. You need to use leverage. There's no way around it. Being a diligent investor and budgeting might make you a millionaire by the time you retire. But to become outrageously wealthy, like a decamillionaire, you can't be selling dollars for hours. It's definitely an interesting niche and not for everyone. Most people are probably fine with reaching financial independence on a normal income. But I find the idea of scaling into something more to be very inspirational.

The best advice Mr. Ramsey gives: 1) you must have money put away for when "life doesn't go according to plan." In this higher interest rates environment people with self control will be rewarded for living conservatively and not taking on debt. It's about time the people who work hard and live below their means get an advantage.
At 7:10 when Alex was asking Dave about why he thinks people see a lot of other financial education businesses as scams, he said that he didn't know. That was the perfect answer, he doesn't know anything about looking legit, because why would you spend so much effort convincing people you're legit if you already are, and have hundreds of thousands of testimonials to back up your claims.
Dave’s work helped me get out of debt. His simple steps really work. I changed things up a little once I was debt free, but I am grateful for his teachings.

I have always lived below my means and learned to save from my dad … but Dave opened my eyes to budgeting and live debt free. I owe them both my life free from financial stress.
Accumulating wealth requires the cultivation of strong habits, such as consistently setting aside funds at regular intervals for sound investments. Financial management is a vital but often overlooked subject, which can come back to haunt those who neglect it. Earning money is only one part of the equation; preserving and growing it is equally essential. The lack of formal education on investments in schools is a glaring omission. The instances you mentioned are illustrative, with the market crisis leading to my initial substantial gains. While many shy away from challenging times, I've learned to embrace them, or at least my advisor does, with a touch of humor.
40:10 man i love those moments in life when you hear a piece of advice that changes your life completely for the better. Those are rare but when they come, i don’t hesitate
Have you guys been following the news about the stock market lately? My stock portfolio has taken quite a hit, I have lost almost $150K in my stock portfolio. It's been quite a rollercoaster ride.
Navigating the complex currents of the market can be daunting, especially when you know little or nothing about its current conditions. That's why working with an advisor is a brilliant idea - their expertise provides a steady compass, guiding through uncertainties and helping you make informed decisions for a secure financial voyage.
I've shuffled through a few advisors in the past, but settled with 'Kate Elizabeth Amdal' her service is exemplary. I'd suggest you research her further on your browser, sure you'll find her basic info.
Dave's advice is most effective for young people, because what he preaches compounds and that takes more time than people who are getting their s*** together at 40 can really afford to do. In other words more drastic measures than Dave preaches are required to actually achieve something great once you get past 35 to 40 years old.
Why am I so emotional when I see two great people that I respect? I loved the conversation. You did a great job and just a quick note. I think I might disagree with Dave about something lol. He said that short clips on UA-cam are not changing lives. Actually they are! Dave, you changed my life for the better and I’m profoundly grateful for everything that you do!

Would love to see more interviews like this, Alex! You did this interview really well.
Love Dave!! The Total Money Makeover completely changed my life. Forever grateful for that man.
Wow….. I was wondering how this interview was going to go coming from 2 different school of thoughts. But I love this angle of how he built the education company. GOLD guys, thank you!!!
Wow this is crazy, but I love it! Never thought I’d see Alex interview others. It would be amazing to see Alex with Warren Buffet, Charlie Munger, Elon Musk and many others.
That would be incredible. Hopefully they make it happen
Wow and you are still broke.
We need Alex with Warren Buffett
I don’t think even Alex could visit heaven to interview Charlie Munger
Must be amazing for you to meet a hero of yours like Dave and get some laughs out of him. Felt like I lived vicariously through you in this. Learned a lot of valuable information from this as well. Congratulations on everything you’ve achieved thus far 🎉
Excellent interview.
Love that Alex intro. You can hear his appreciation & inspiration for Dave
Fantastic interview Alex. Can definitely see the mutual respect between you two. I agree… Dave does not get the credit he deserves for the massive amount of good and impact he has had.
Integrity is what most businesses are missing today and so badly needed.!
This was such a powerful interview. I admire both of you so much. When my husband and I got married part of marriage counseling was to read Total Money Makeover.. we’ve been debt free on and off.. not debt free at the moment but working on it and currently studying your resources and Leila’s too. Just felt very real, this interview. Both humble and I can tell you both admire each other. Thanks for being real. Just hit something in my heart that I needed.
Wow $300 million in revenue my neighbor is crushing life. Good for you Dave. You earned it, and I respect the heck out of ya.
Wow two of the most practical people in the Nation. Talking about some of the most important topics!
God bless you have both impacted my life and the life of people around me.
Can’t wait to learn more from you both!
My brother! I’ve bought your book and loved your content for years. I’ve loved Ramsey for even more years, and I’m so happy to see you both in the same room talking. Great video, thanks for doing what you had to, to make it happen.
Been following your channel since your first videos (back at 20k subs). Glad to see you now talking with Mr Ramsey. You’re both doing so much to help people think differently about business, money, and spiritual center. Thx for doing what you do.
Love this, I feel like Dave gets a lot of unnecessary scrutiny. His philosophy works for so many people and is a good thing
Put a pause on entertaining this for a moment. This is solid, Alex. Thanks man loved every moment.
Two of my favorites! Hormozi helped with our business's and Dave helped us get our finances on track... great step to financial peace 🙌😍
This is one of my favorite Financial videos I've ever watched, this is my fourth time watching the whole thing...
it is great!
Such a great interview. Dave is a legend! You played a fantastic interviewer role, Alex. Well done.
Thank you Dave. I started paying off my 7.2 trillion debt and am now reaping in 6.9 gazillion dollars a month by compound interest ❤
In this higher interest rates environment people with self control will be rewarded for living conservatively and not taking on debt. It's about time the people who work hard and live below their means get an advantage.
Dave Ramsey is surely undervalued and under appreciated for what he does for Americans and others around the world.
Didn’t have an appreciation for Dave until this interview. Thanks Alex & Dave!
Dave’s work helped me get out of debt. His simple steps really work. I changed things up a little once I was debt free, but I am grateful for his teachings.
“Playing within your own sandbox” is such an eye opener.
A subtle parable almost that in terms of personal understanding can mean so much to the right ears.
Let go of all the high risk roads and travel on the one you know
Phenomenal. Nice to see Alex exposing his audience to Dave, when most of the wealth building content these days ridicules Dave’s approach.
9:30 you have to obey the Word for it to change/clean/prune/transform you. The seed only grows if you choose to be the right soil (accepting/humble/open, separated from thorns/distractions/bad environment). You have the way/plan/path, you need the desire for the result, and you need the discipline to walk the path.
Exactly Mr.Ramsey doesn’t get the credit he deserves!!! Amazing man !
Such a brilliant interview. So good to see Alex have such respect for Dave, the same way I’d feel interviewing Alex! A pair of legends and loads of value to take away 🤘
The 2 best financial guys on UA-cam together. No brainer!!!
Much love from New Zealand two awesome legends 🔥🙏🙏
Glad for you Alex you got to interview Dave, in your sign off I could feel your gratitude for him, awesome.
I've been waiting for this conversation from Dave for a decade on investing and debt. It was very good.
Dave Ramsey is a legend. My wife and I love him dearly, he changed our lives for the better! Alex is an up and coming legend himself!
We are witnessing Alex showing how he consumes information from others. It's interesting to witness...
Yeah, I like him as an interviewer. Good balance between trying to learn something himself and also trying to make it valuable for the Acquisition audience
Just came across this! I've been watching them seperately! Such a cool duo!
Fantastic listening to these two gentlemen talk about business & life. Please do another collaboration!
Both dropping gems. A healthy mix of cash and minimal debt is always good. Because its difficult building wealth with minimal cashflow
One of the best DR interviews I have seen ..
This is a great perspective! I would love to see more of these with other massive players!
One of the best interviews... sometimes he just sticks to the company line, it was nice to hear more thoughts that didn't just keep repeating the same line over and over
I would suggest time-markers in the video so users can move around parts in the video. great interview. thanks.
You are a very wise man, Alex. Your knowledge especially at your young age is impressive. Thank you for all the good work you’re doing. I just started a business and your videos have been a tremendous help in my journey. Thank you!
Need more Blcktken300 content. Converted my ETH to BTC but kept my Blcktken300
Best content I’m going to listen to this again. Thank you and thanks Dave no homeruns but long run 🔥🔥🔥
Great interview Alex, I didn’t know you were as heavily influenced by Dave Ramsey, but I can sense the similar genuineness from you that I’ve felt from Dave Ramsey when I discovered him in 2011.
Yes Dave, you're absolutely right by saying one should avoid being a debt slave. I know what it feels to be a slave of debt.
Alex on this great long format content maybe put the different themes of the discussion on the time bar like on some podcasts online overall love the content you put out keep going 🎉🎉
Two of my favorite guys! Thanks for staying real.
40:10 man i love those moments in life when you hear a piece of advice that changes your life completely for the better. Those are rare but when they come, i don’t hesitate
😊😊😅😊😊😊
Have you guys been following the news about the stock market lately? My stock portfolio has taken quite a hit, I have lost almost $150K in my stock portfolio. It's been quite a rollercoaster ride.
Navigating the complex currents of the market can be daunting, especially when you know little or nothing about its current conditions. That's why working with an advisor is a brilliant idea - their expertise provides a steady compass, guiding through uncertainties and helping you make informed decisions for a secure financial voyage.
How do I find this financial counselor ?
I've shuffled through a few advisors in the past, but settled with 'Kate Elizabeth Amdal' her service is exemplary. I'd suggest you research her further on your browser, sure you'll find her basic info.
I just looked her up on the web and I would say she really has an impressive background in investing. I will write her an e-mail shortly.
She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran a Google search on her name and came across her website; thank you for sharing..
Been waiting on this for weeks!! Automatically liked the video
Dave's advice is most effective for young people, because what he preaches compounds and that takes more time than people who are getting their s*** together at 40 can really afford to do. In other words more drastic measures than Dave preaches are required to actually achieve something great once you get past 35 to 40 years old.
What a legendary duo.
Personalized advice is so underrated.
I owe forty nine thousand on my house and I will be completely out of debt.
23:51 - Earballs, such a good combination of ears and eyeballs
I absolutely love D Ramsey. He changed so so many lifes..🎉
