That gradient paint job is gorgeous! Congratulations 🎉 🥳 🎉 I'm so proud of you! I remember when you said your dad couldn't get you all the BMC or SAB scribers that you wanted. You've come a long way ❤
Congratulations Nico!!! It is great to see girls in the hobby. I little girl who got the under 14 1st place was so funny, she went right for the money lol forget about the other prizes lol
It's gundam 00 and its pink!😍 I like how the color fades, also how the other color didn't overlap. it's like a simple design but you know that it's been done by an expert👏 Next video? Neue ziel or the val-walo😅 I'm so curious how Neue ziel will look like after you scribe and paint it 🙏
Just discovered your channel today coz I searched for gunpla haul in ph. Congrats and good luck for the next competition. I'm a gunpla newbie, been watching for tutorials for a month now before I build my 1st three kits. Learned a lot from you.
Congrats on your winning piece~ Saw your work personally, and I'm amazed with the color technique you used. I'm suprised even more that gals join GMKC, makes me quite motivated to try my hand on it also.
Congratulations on the win!🎉. What can you suggest for a beginner in painting? (Tools, paints, essentials)? I've only straight build up to now but after seeing how much you can express yourself in only painting I want to take a shot at it. Keep making great kits
If you want to try out painting, the easiest would be to use spray cans, this is IF you’re only painting 1 or 2 kits, it’s not advisable in the long run because costs will add up. But this is the easiest way to use especially if you have never painted before. Airbrushing is a bit pricey at first, ‘cause you have to buy the airbrush, compressor and all that stuff, but it is cheaper in the long run. It’s intimidating for others at first because you do have to learn how to operate the compressor and airbrush, but it’s not hard really. Handpainting, this one is also cheaper compared to spray cans but it can be tricky especially when painting large parts because if you don’t know how to properly thin your paints or what paints to use, you’ll get brush strokes or uneven colors which will not look good on your gunpla. Handpainting is great for small areas, like instead if stickers you can handpaint it. So generally, the things you need whether you choose spray cans or airbrush are; cat scratcher board (you stick the parts here for painting. Alligator clips - holds the parts for painting. Respirator/gas mask - especially if you end up using lacquer paints. Spray booth - for a long time I didn’t have one but it’s helpful. Gloves - to avoid paint on your hands Airbrush Paints - this can be water based acrylics or lacquers. Then you have to get the appropriate thinner and cleaner for this. For airbrushing, of course you need an airbrush and compressor. That’s basically it! Feel free to ask more questions, this is quite a broad answer so yeah!
@@NicoSuratos ay grabe haha never knew how much stuff are required for only airbrush painting haha. Thank you so much for this information, I guess hold off muna ako sa kits and focus sa materials for airbrush tools. Hopefully I'll have an entry in the next GMKC hehe
Zen x Zurc (facebook) sells airbrush bundles for an affordable price! They have sets where you get an airbrush and compressor, sometimes paints too :) Goodluck! Hoping to see you enter this GMKC!
@@NicoSuratos recently looked them up and honestly, yung recent set nila is a steal🤩 unfortunately no budget yet haha. Thank you so much again for your help with starting my painting journey with gunpla!!!
out of topics for awhile, i want to paint my gunpla but the room i rent is lack of air ventilation, is there any technique to paint gundam without airbrushing or spray can? since i saw a lot of builder using airbrush or spray can to their base paint.
An alternative would be brush painting/handpainting. Not a lot of builders do this because it’s time consuming especially for MGs and up due to the size. But if you can’t do airbrushing or spray cans, this is the only way left. You can start slow by just painting small areas or details, instead of using stickers, you can handpaint instead or use markers. Once you’e confident and know the proper way of handpainting, then you can move on to painting bigger areas like armor parts. You can search “how to handpaint gunpla” and see what comes up. Hope this helps :)
Congrats!!
