Hi nico Ive been watching your tutorials lately. So I started custom painting my RG force impulse model using your tips and tutorials. However after painting and top coating, everything is tight to fit when reassemble. some armor started to have cracks. And those articulated armor that rub to each other started to have paint scratch. By the way my inner frame is also painted. I would love to see if you can make a tips and trick to prevent these from happening. I would love to see you do it on RG Hi-Nu since it has many rubbing armor parts and articulated parts. Thanks in advance.

Hello Nico, it's interesting to hear you mention Vallejo premium as your favorite white for gunpla but that paint line is not formulated to be used on models or this type of plastic. Have you had any issues with adhesion or with it clogging details due to the larger pigments? Thank you.

hi! just asking . i saw you using a Bosny primer before airbrushing it. is it "safe" to use the Bosny on plastic? a lot of vidz tell that its harmful on plastic. But its cost effective at Bosny is cheaper and contains more than Tamiya/Mr Hobby primers

For a 1/144 HG/RG kits.. which scriber size would you recommend the most?

If you’re not painting your gunpla (just using the base colors) do you still need like a base coat before applying a matte finish? Or do you apply matte coat first before panel lining and weathering?

just starting with gunpla i used to do warhammer a long time ago and i find they are pretty similar to work with i recomend anyone who wants an equally good finish as an airbrush to investigate about the dry brush technique its a really time consuming method and it will burn through a lot of cheap brushes overtime but its definitly worth it. Also priming by hand is doable if u pre-assemble the important sections because u dont need to paint anything that is not seeable in the figure just make sure that u paint over anything hidden by the articulations that can be revealed like cockpits, backpacs etc Good video!

Never had much luck with acrylic washes so I use the same go to I use with my 1/35 armor. Good old, oil paints and oderless thinner. I love the Abteilung 502 oils like Starship Filth to panel line with.

I’d really like to see the speed paints used on something like an RG inner frame. The higher level of detail could provide some interesting final product. Perhaps for something like the Astray kits they have the colored inner frame.

What suppose to be white colour in Mr Clear Color type? I want to reduce tone for primary colour. In store only have Clear Silver GX110 and Super Clear lll GX100. Can u help me with this? I need ratio 20% red, 10% purple and 70% white in mr clear color paint type. Confuse to choose, which is u consider as white in Mr Clear Color? Thank you

Nico, sorry but I have questions XD 1. What is the thingy at 3:55, when you are cleaning your airbrush. And is it really ok for me to just use dishwashing liquid diluted in water? 2. How long does it take for Hiro Paints to dry in between coats? 3. It's raining hard here as of typing this (I hope you are fine.) So is it safe to assume that I shouldn't even attempt to spray paint?

Hi Nico, first of all thank you for your tutorials, always very helpful! I've just two questions (the first simple, the second a little less so). 1. I just bought the exact same wet palette. So basically, from what I understood, if I use acrylics colors (Vallejo), there is no need to use thinner, because the palette being already wet, itself acts as a thinner, correct? 2. Regarding the handpaint, you suggest to use primer first (and I agree), but in my case, I've some pieces already painted with Tamiya TS spray cans (and I don't use primer as first coat when I use Tamiya spray cans beacuse they very durable/aggressive since they're laquers basically - unlike airbrushing where the primer is mandatory). In these pieces already spray cans painted, if I want to add some small details by hand painting (circuits, pipes and stuff like that), what should I do? Masking all the piece (except the part I want to paint by hand), primer it, and then hand paint these details? Thank you very much from Italy!

Nice build, nice video too. I got something to try. Post visual effect. Get two old used lighters with flints that still work. Put the diorama so you can put your hands behind it. Turn out the lights and strike the lighters flints behind it and they look like explosions.😊
