This dance wasn’t technically amazing, but something about it made me love it. The whole vibe of this performance was gorgeous, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it.
I was watching this with my nana who told me that her mum (my great grandmother) used to love ballroom dancing and watch it in black and white and apparently my great grandmother used to say she would love to see what the dresses look like in couler unfortunately she passed away before that was possible and it would’ve been her birthday last week. Now whenever I watch this dance or here the song I always think about her. R.I.P Nanna Lily ❤️

Love watching these two dance 🥰 They are amazing and I enjoy seeing Amy in the VT explaining each dance and technicality steps . She's the only one that does this effortlessly without just seeming like she's fluffing up the VT to make it longer between dances. Beautiful routine . Tom danced beautifully. Fabulous routine by Amy and I loved Amy's dress😁
Tom's growth and skill as a dancer is criminally underrated. That was so beautiful. They really need to give him more ballroom. Aside from the Tango, it's been beautiful each time. Great pairing. Great chemistry. Flowed beautifully. So seamless. Can't believe he was the awkward dancer in the beginning who had to catch up because he missed a week. Severely undermarked.

Such a touching song... Tom, as always, was 150% into character and into the music. He didn't miss a beat, he didn't miss a step and he was expressing, both in his movement and in his face, the story of this dance, romantic but yet melancholic at the same time. Additionally, he didn't miss a heel lead, his frame was excellent and his arms were very beautiful, lyrical and soft. What this dance needed to be better is much more drive into the floor with the moving leg (that would have created significantly more gliding). I also wanted him to get more on the balls of his feet on count "three" and to create sway. Additionally, I found it to be a tad heavy in places. To sum up, on one hand, there were some very impressive moments, but on the other hand, I know that Tom is capable of doing so much better and producing much more cleaner dances, with much more attention to details. My score: a 6.
I'd love him to dance to a song his sister is famous for for musical week! 🤞

I’m getting a flashback to Karim’s VW! A dance attempted well but not quite hitting the mark. There are improvements in his hold but I don’t think the footwork was as tight as it can be. Also he does give a bit too much when extending his lines.

I got totally drawn into the dance. It was like being taken somewhere else, so I don't care if this wasn't the best technically. Great song great costumes 👍

This was wonderful. I could see that he was smiling a lot and really enjoying himself! There was a very good connection between the 2 of them. I agree with Craig that his free arm could've been less wild because it was a bit too crazy for a Viennese Waltz, but I loved it!

Just lovely !!!! Lydia and Margo the doctors with an angel looking over them, working with Nico Nina Marlene Firth losing all his money and eventually becoming a millionaire! I thought it was such a fabulous story of rags and no money to riches! Everyone deserves a chance in life just like Andrew Tony Hadley David! Well done Nico Nina! This was really nice, nice partnering and chemistry. He did quite well but he could use more space and volume and drive. (I think it was Anton who said something similar...) Also, just more confidence and assurance that he's got her, you know?

NGL I had high hopes for this for some reason. This wasn't his worst ballroom, Foxtrot is still up there for me. I think it is his energy level, he seemed a little fed up, I know this isn't the case but something just didn't work. Also, idk how to do a fleckle but that didn't seem that great as Anton was talking about.
I can't help but think of Jan Ravens dancing to this because that was the night she had her rant at Craig so this song stands out when she started crying to be saved because it was her favourite dance, anyway on to Tom. Everything in the footwork except the fleckel was perfect but the frame is still not there, still some gapping and lack of movement. I thought the staging was lovely, the choreography was amazing for a Viennese Waltz especially and the out lf hold bits were gorgeous. Some nice arm expressions too, it felt very fluffy and warm and I do think it's his best Ballroom dance to date but I don't think he has shown enough improvement in Ballroom, maybe American Smooth might be morehis thing. *8/10*

Hmm. I'm a bit concerned about Tom's ballroom at this point. Maybe I'm a bit harsh but there only seems to be minimal improvement each week he does one. His frame is still a little awkward looking and he just seems restricted in hold. He did keep a great and consistent posture though and there was drive in the dance, it just looked a little forced at times. He needs to bring the confidence and seamless-ness of his latin to his showmanship in the ballroom to look like he's leading the dance more convincingly and to create a natural flow in it. I really want to see him improve though, cause he's great.

I feel like the movement could have been a bit more fluid. I agree with Anton fully, even though the did a proper VW, I felt underwhelmed with the choreography especially with this iconic music track. I feel a bit more dramatic movements in the turns and in hold could have told the story more clearly than what the actual dance portray. Despite that, kudos for this being their highest Ballroom but really wanted a bit more!

His frame is improving, but his shoulders and elbows are a little far back. His footwork is improving, but his feet are a little too turned out (I think I'm right in saying that in ballroom, feet should be parallel). Transitions in and out of hold need to be a lot smoother. As does everything else. 8

They're quite hard on Tom technically, maybe they see potential, they brush a lot more stuff off with say Tilly
Not at all, Tom gets over marked every show. As they know everyone likes him and him and his wife are like a social media powerhouse
Neither Tom nor the singer could quite pull it off, but with Viennese Waltz being my favourite dance it still looked pretty good.
Uncomfortable watching these too. I love Tom and Gi and really hope this show doesn’t curse them like others before.
It’s just a performance
Not a bad effort, some good footwork and a proper Fleckerl, all very lovely. But I don't know what happens to him when he goes into hold, all of the lovely dynamic seems to disappear, there was nowhere near enough drive, swing, or sway, after he went into hold. Shame. Although I think he's done enough to go through to next week.
Totally loved this dance for the 'realness' as Craig put it.
Kind of forgot this dance, thoroughly unmemorable. 8.

I recommend “Fat Sam’s Grandslam”.
I feel like they might end up dancing to something from Oliver since Tom played the role in The West End as a child.

Sorry to be mean but he bores me to tears. His posture doesn’t look right at all, very strange, can’t put my finger on it. Looks as though his legs are super short which isn’t his fault but sadly not built for dancing ballroom very well.
