Having grown up around farmers, lumberjacks and fishermen I can tell you the weld repair at the end is no different than they do it here in America. You work with what you’ve got and what you’ve got is what you can afford.
@@leafhater1 I've wondered about that but i think there's more to it. You could always put an old piece of material on top of the sandals to add a bit of protection. The problem seems to be due to lack of shopping there, you can't just go to the hardware store and pick up a pack of spanners. They have a centrally planned economy where the government decides what you can have.
I admire these people for the work they are doing with the few means available. on the other hand there is the usual air pollution and the lack of protection. I believe that the life expectancy of these people is very short.
These videos are inspiring!!!!! also kudos to them who are hard working!!!!!... but can you please suggest to them to use protective stuffs even the most basic which is a face mask?!!!!! those fumes, dirt, dust, and metal particles..... 😰
Amazing work done by dedicated men doing a dangerous job in unsage conditions using primitve techniques just to earn a salary to support their families. I am impressed. American Gen X and Z lazy teenagers and young men would never do this because it would mess up their hair, get their hands dirty or make them sweat. Good job men. Viewed in California USA

You can weld cast iron… there is just a very detailed preheat and post heating regimen to adhere to. Are they following one, no. Do they have better means, no. Will this last, I highly doubt it. With their process the amount of porosity would be atrocious. To think that vehicle is going to be back on the road with that time-bomb lurking.
Men who really know how to work lol The United States receiving material that is produced with green energy😂 we only use environmentally friendly here in the United States or so they claim
Copper is in Super High demand in First world nations, so they would likely sell it to copper exporters to go to Europe or North/South America. The guys at the beginning on the a daaw dont have long for this world
It's also good fun to repair something using old bits you have lying around. Sometimes it takes a lot of brainpower it's surprising.
I like the way the copper was seperated from the aluminium I've never seen it done this way before
Good thing they’re wearing their safety sandals while carrying that molten metal
@calilifestyle1 Yeah, yeah, we've heard it all before. Got anything original?

Man, I miss those poisonous fumes in the ol' brass recycling center!! Good times!
Hehehe...me too
You got it all wrong, these guys are on the cutting edge of technology! They are testing the all new invisible dust masks.
I was anxiously awaiting to see how copper and aluminum is transformed into brass. As disappointed as I expected to be.
@@robertarthurs328 brass doesn't contain any aluminium at all. Brass is made of mostly copper and zinc and may contain traces of iron and lead.

Worry about their lungs more than their feet at this point. Theres a reason these folks have a life expectancy under 70.
70 if they are lucky and how good of the boss to sell them steel toe nail safety flip flops maybe they are going to be inspected
Nah, that dust from cutting them open just blows away
It's exactly what I thought.
Put on masks...the lungs are for AIR ONLY not inhaling other junk that it can't REMOVE.
