I’m a prime example of staying down till the come up. I came home to absolutely nothing! My mother passed while I was incarcerated & when I came out there was nothing waiting for me. I still had 3 years of probation to go into but I chose to do what got me in there in the first place. I just didn’t go as hard. Literally, 2 months before I was set for release from probation I caught a case. My PO stemmed from CT but I was living in NY, & they were dying to violate me & send me to max out. My P.O. caught a liking to me & basically refused to violate me. She stalled them & managed to get me released with no problems. Due to the pandemic the courts weren’t killing niggaz unless you committed a violent crime. They basically gave me a slap on the wrist & sent me on my way. I took that as a sign from the universe, left NY, left the game, left my past life behind. Today I have a job, a home, a car, my wife, & I’m on my way to greater things (god willin). Take the signs. Take the hints that life/ the universe is going to give you. & don’t be scared to be behind a bit. Some times being behind is to avoid what’s coming to those ahead of you. Never play catch-up & move at your own pace. May god bless you all & stay strong 💪🏽💯‼️
Maino is always a great interview, but this might be his best interview ever. Definitely one of the best interviews I've seen on Expert Opinion. Math Hoffa is in a zone. His supporting cast need to stay for each episode going forward. Maino's story is very inspirational and unique. He's very smart and strategic which is why he's accomplished so much since being home.
Can’t say for anyone else but for me this was very inspirational. His honesty rings through and I identified with his story. This should be viewed by others needing that extra push to keep going. Bless

@15:50 I feel him about the guys coming home who went in as kids. The depression that you fight and hide while trying to make it out. Shoutout to the vulnerability here, real man shit. Shoutout to Math for creating this platform.
Amazing. He needs to rewatch this. He said a lot about the way he was thinking along his journey. The way he was thinking is the reason "why me". He thought his way out of a lot wickedness and those thoughts ordered his steps. He should write a book and lecture to give hope and allow others to see their way out.
I really really really always enjoy Maino. He’s truly such a genuine human, and it’s really refreshing to learn about artists because recently you can’t even understand their responses. Great episode Math
This was a great interview! It’s dope how Maino talked about his life experiences and his struggles. The one thing I always get from MEO is some knowledge and understanding. S/o to the crew this show is fire!
