I just got mine yesterday & its a v3 pack. The issue around the laptop compartment zipper at 20:20 are fixed in the v3. The zippers overall also feel very smooth & easy to use, they seem to have made small improvements fixing these issues

Hey Brandon, thanks for sharing your take on this bag.
Quick correction - you can access the top quick access pocket regardless of how you roll the top (facing forward or back, no matter).
Also, in my experience unzipping the front panel access is a bit of a pain (the rain flaps to get in a way), what works better is "ripping" it open, Phil has shown it in his videos as one of the quickest ways to get in. Zipping the panel up is easy.
    Cheers!

I have this bag and I really don’t think there is a more versatile bag and does it this well. Such a well designed bag and it looks really cool too.

Best review I've watched on this bag (best one I've seen you do - IMHO). Informative, critical but very objective and as much as possible, related to your experience while bringing in viewpoints of others. Even though you pointed out flaws - I can't name one bag that doesn't have them - I still highly respect the maker. I can tell a lot of thought went into the pack, even if it's not right for me (the designer also went to the effort of doing several videos on his own). Offering the maker options for improvements is a nice touch. Tiny gripes: I would have liked to have heard who the bag is best suited for (activity, height of torso - mentioning your height might have helped and how others, at same height, responded to the bag). It would be great to hear a woman's viewpoint, too (for apples to apples, your build). Great points. Thank you.

Thanks for the review! Can you wash the uvx40 to get rid of this "dirt patina"?

You can definitely hand wash it with some light detergent, but at some point a stain will probably happen.
