He was offered to do the vocals waaaay back in the day but chose to stay with Armored Saint. A call I would think he likely regrets. He way cool in Anthrax though.
W. Dean Lowery Bush stayed with Armored Saint due to the band consisting of longtime friends, if he had received the offer from Metallica after Dave Prichard died he would have most likely joined them then.

Not really. Anthrax's material in the 90s was passable at best, plus Saint has always been a full-on Heavy Metal band, while Anthrax kept apeing whatever style was popular at the time.
We could argue that had John Bush accepted the frontman role in Metallica, Armored Saint would have only recorded/performed periodically, if not carried on with a new singer. So that mightn't have happened. Would have been interesting, though.
