  • The ASPCA recently celebrated the grand opening of our new ASPCA Community Veterinary Center in Liberty City, Florida, in partnership with Miami-Dade Animal Services (MDAS) and Miami-Dade County. The new Veterinary Center provides affordable and accessible veterinary services to pets and their guardians in Miami-Dade County, including the Liberty City area-a critically underserved community with limited options for veterinary care. I already adopted my dog he was with a rescue. Like you said not all with red flags are bad. Here is my dogs story. I was looking for a dog for months. I saw the dog I adopted online contacted the rescue. We met at a park not the fosters house they tod me it was because he is aggressive to new people at home being I live alone almost never have company I was OK with that.. When we met me and my ned dog just hit it off. I knew then I wanted to adopt him. I told them I could pick him up the next day. That night I got a email from the fosters saying they has to tell me warning signs about him. He was a stray the shelter was going to put him down because no one could even get close to his kennel without him attacking. He also was adopted by 2 families before and returned for being aggressive. I decided we had a connection and I was going to make this work. The next day at first the fosters wanted to meet again at the park but changed there mind wanted me to come to there house. When I got there no aggression towards me he was happy to see me. I took him home last January and I could not be happier I hit the doggy lottery. He still does not like people coming on to our property he we are working on that.

It's so sad ASPCA has a bad rap because of the head people thinking it's ok to keep money for themselves. I cannot stop my donation because I ask God to help me help the animals. You get what you give. These animals need our support any way we can give it. It's insulting to know the head people are pathetic...but they will have to answer for their greedy behavior. That is for sure..KARMA
