    How much does the process of making a mold and casting a helmet cost?

      Between the cost of silicone, a gallon of 2-part resin, and other materials, roughly $200. However, from that gallon of resin, I was able to cast 4-5 helmets. Also, this method was borrowed from another maker on Etsy. He made a tutorial where he mentioned that from one of his existing molds, he had already pulled some 70 casts from it already and the silicone was still holding up. Definitely something to look into if you’re wanting to make a ton of carbon copies fast.

      I’m not sure what you mean by how I “saved” the visor. I would love to try to help though 😊

      @@MARKDUBS.3DPRINTING what I tried to say is that you had already installed the visor in the previous video, so how didn't you destroyed the visor with the resin?

      I masked off the visor with painters tape.
