Great video. I work a lot with 3d printed projects and have considered making molds of my projects so this video was great inspiration. Subscribed and looking forward to seeing more of your work. Thanks for sharing.
@@MARKDUBS.3DPRINTING Thanks, much appreciated :) So glad that you liked my T-800, it was my first full sized build, learned a lot making it :) Really looking forward to following your channel. Best Regards Kim K
Between the cost of silicone, a gallon of 2-part resin, and other materials, roughly $200. However, from that gallon of resin, I was able to cast 4-5 helmets. Also, this method was borrowed from another maker on Etsy. He made a tutorial where he mentioned that from one of his existing molds, he had already pulled some 70 casts from it already and the silicone was still holding up. Definitely something to look into if you’re wanting to make a ton of carbon copies fast.
@@MARKDUBS.3DPRINTING what I tried to say is that you had already installed the visor in the previous video, so how didn't you destroyed the visor with the resin?
Impressive work, 100+
Thank you very much!

How much does the process of making a mold and casting a helmet cost?

How did you saved the visor?? Thank you!
I’m not sure what you mean by how I “saved” the visor. I would love to try to help though 😊

I masked off the visor with painters tape.
