Is it supposed to stick up over the tailgate. I just put mine in today. I got the fx3 and put it on a 250 super duty. Seems like it might leak water in
They aren’t 100% water proof unfortunately. If u go to the 17 minute mark in my video you’ll see how far mine goes over the tailgate, probably around an inch roughly. U can position the whole cover slightly farther up or down if u need to adjust the rear or front fitting of it

Good idea to get the replacement screw at Lowe’s rather than deal with Amazon’s ridiculous policies. Glad you received a bit of a refund.
