I had the mi band 2 through 6 until I ended up purchasing the apple watch 8. It was the right decision for me, but I still recommend the mi band for alot of people. But the apple watch was worth it for me and my needs
Yes, apple watch gives rich notification, can call and text using watch without phone, has GPS, track back for hiking, has apple pay and music storage with spotify or apple music. It also has apple key which works with car and door locks. It integrates with home kit to turn off lights and check camera. It also has ECG, diving stats, and much better for marathons. Also has safety features such as crash detection and fall detection and can use iphone to text via satellite or send SOS
@@samjam6989 it's also made out of richer materials, has a better health and fitness app eco system, can run on LTE, has a much high-quality display and the UI is cleaner and more intuitive.

Great review of the Xiaomi Mi Band 9! It was interesting to learn about the new features and improvements over the previous model. Especially liked that you went into detail about the screen quality and new features of the fitness tracker. Thanks for the informative content!
So, it has the same battery life as my 5 year old Mi Band 4 that used to deliver 30 days back when it was new. The long battery life used to be it's best selling point. They need to get their shit together.
I disagree. The fact that Xiaomi has been able to maintain that same battery life whilst adding more battery draining smart and health features each year is a good thing.
Can I use this without having to connect it to a phone ? I only need step counting, heart rate, blood oxygen, sleeping monitor. Kcal counting works be nice to have.
I have a Xiaomi Body Scale 2 and a Xiaomi Band 9. How is it possible that there is no app where I can use both? Do I have to use a separate app for each product? How can an app for the Xiaomi Band 9 calculate calories burned without knowing anything about my weight or asking me to enter it manually? I use a lot of Xiaomi products, from my phone, mouse, vacuum cleaner... But I’m disappointed with the brand. I hope for a quick upgrade to the app.
Does the mi band 9 automatically detect workout activity? Or you have to select it beforehand? Im coming from a charge2. My charge2 automatically detects when im running and biking. Making tracking so much more convenient.
@@snehakataria1159 it definitely vibrates for all types of alarms, if somebody phones you, you can set the notifications for things like texts and messages to also vibrate, I guess it does remind us too, but I didn’t try that or look for it

I recently purchased the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Global Version (2024) from Amazon, and I’m having trouble adjusting some settings in the app. I’m located in the United States and have my region set to the United States, so I assumed the app would default to local units. It’s possible I’m just overlooking something, but I thought I’d ask here in case anyone has experience with this or knows where these options might be located. Specifically, I’m looking for help with the following: Weight Units: Switching from kilograms (kg) to pounds (lb). Height Units: Changing from centimeters (cm) to inches. Distance Walked: Adjusting from kilometers (km) to miles. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!
This is what I found online To change the distance measurements from kilometers to miles on your Xiaomi Mi Band 9, follow these steps: 1. **Open the Mi Fitness (or Zepp Life) app** on your phone, which is paired with your Mi Band 9. 2. Go to the **Profile** tab at the bottom right. 3. Select your **Mi Band 9** from the list of devices. 4. Scroll down to find **Units** or **Settings**. 5. Under Units, switch the distance unit from **kilometers (km)** to **miles (mi)**. Once you change this in the app, your Mi Band 9 should display distance measurements in miles instead of kilometers.
