Not me, seems like Xiaomi, didn't even work with the chipset, just threw in a bigger battery. You guys realize that increasing battery size is much cheaper than actually optimizing the new chipset into the UI and device right? In the initial battery drain test, the mAh/min drain is is worse than their previous gen.
Your review calls the phone close to perfect, but during the 10 minute video you highlighted dozens of flaws such as the mediocre camera, display, AI functions and OS. It seems the only good thing are the processors and battery, but other devices are comparable in that regard too. Your verdict is difficult to reconcile with these flaws as the phone seems far from perfect.
It's sarcasm by gizmochina if you haven't noticed yet😅. But it's not really justified since I've seen other reviews and comparisons on the same phone. I really don't get why there is a need to keep bashing the color they chose to buy because it looks great to me😂. Can tell that this review is not going to be objective from the beginning😂. This is like going to a buffet and right from the beginning bashing a spicy fish dish out of 100 options because you find it too red😂. And fingerprint magnet is funny since glass backs are usually fingerprint magnets, and especially the glossy ones. Gizmochina doesn't even know this?😂 Anyways, Xiaomi 15 pro is well known for being the king of compact phones and its specs, while maybe not the best in all areas, certainly is good enough for its title. Lost respect for gizmochina.😢
I don't understand the decision to make the cameras worse. Weirdly horrible video recording quality, no variable aperture, much less versatile telephoto lens which leaves gigantic gap between main camera and telephoto. This gap hurts the most considering that there is no 1" sensor which could compensate for the lack of shorter telephoto with in camera cropping with decent quality, like Vivo X100 Pro did.
I like that this video is pretty in depth, but I think a speaker comparison would make these reviews even more awesome. (And maybe a sentence about the curvature of the display.) Great Video!
Why you guys just did full reviews of Xiaomi phones? No full review of any of the other flagships from Vivo and OPPO (only a hands on for the x8 pro) even though these were launched earlier and get global launches earlier yet both Xiaomi flagships have gotten full reviews. How can we or you draw a conclusion without reviewing the competition?
Hi, do you have any plans to review the Oppo Find X8 (non-Pro) and Vivo X200, since they are going to be released globally soon? Also, will there be a comparison with the standard version of the Xiaomi 15?
The Chinese version phone can work out of China, with Google Play Store installed, but can't unlock bootloader(It's difficult for global version too). About global version, maybe 2-3 months later in some countries, maybe India first, then Europe.

After watching both your Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro review videos - I think the Xiaomi 14/Pro cameras are the same, if not better, than the 15/Pro in most cases? The 15/Pro's colour science is a bit odd - seems noticeably desaturated by default, and the 14/Pro's images tend to be sharper, clearer, and less noisy.
Nothing is perfect about this phone. The display is far from ideal, and the camera is not much better than the 14 Pro, which wasn't even close to the top ones in the DXOMark. The battery and charger are great, though.
I'm fans of xiaomi but the battery is mediocre against other 5.5-6k mah phone like ex:, honor magic 7(non pro) with 5.65kmah beats Xiaomi 15 pro 6.1k mAh by large margin.. xiaomi 0% battery while honor still has left 21%. I see it on Chinese forums sites and Chinese UA-camrs. Disappointed...
Weird that they the telephoto and zoom still hasn't got a bigger sensor. At least 1/2 inch would make it better. Heck slap those camera from the Mi 14 Ulta cause why not? Still I'll always prefer longer zoom over anything else. I hope Xiaomi 15 Ultra would be exciting with that super zoom 200MP.
The phone that would be the perfect choice for most of the people and yet again they dont sell it in europe. I dont need 1500 Euro ultra and dont want the smaller 15. So samsung again next year right?
You could get the OPPO find x8 pro or Oneplus 13. There is also a possibility the Vivo x200 pro might launch in Europe but that's uncertain. The Xiaomi 15 ultra will also launch in Europe next year
@solas1183 hm i tend more to the honor magic 7 pro. The speakers arent great on the oneplus and the camera is inferior also. (Atleast on oneplus) So i think honor (i hope they have better cases this year) or samsung. I dont know. I hope i can try them out again in a store and than have a clear feeling. Im also worried about escalation with europe, us and china but than phones are probably our smallest problem.
What kind of bullsht review is this? You compare the camera to an older version when there are significant updates like the battery and AI features in the new one? Not to mention the hardware and performance upgrades??? The logical thing to do is to compare with other current gen phones like the Iphone 16 pro max or pro. No extensive look at the AI features and other new features in HyperOS 2 but instead just cherry pick the "not so good" ones. What about the speakers? LTPO? And so many other features that make Xiaomi 15 pro a great phone? Simply putting a misleading title saying Xiaomi 15 pro and the relentless bashing against it is so needlessly sarcastic. For those who want a quick and dirty comparison check out nanoreview, compare Xiaomi 15 pro vs Apple 16 pro max, and see why it is 96 vs 95 out of 100, even with a massive price difference. Oh, and the equivalent of Apple 16 pro max for Xiaomi should be Ultra, which is not released yet.
The silver version is got to be the ugliest phone aesthetic yet, no one is going to take the xiaomi 15 seriously when it looks like a cheaply made phone.
