ManFat Kittens are born in a litter with their 5-6 siblings and they fight for mama cat's nipples too when they are young. They get into the habit of protecting/fighting for their food or there will be no food for them. It's survival instinct.
My family adopted two kittens together when I was a kid and we always fed them both together, they would both eat from the same bowl at the same time, they didn't have a problem sharing. It is probably different with rescued cats, they are accustomed to protecting their food supply.
Please don't bite my head off for saying this, but it would be wise to correct this behaviour now while they're still kittens, as opposed to when they're adults, because it will be much harder then. You could try giving them seperate bowls. Just trying to help, so please don't be mad at me people.
whos mad at you ? i would slice the salmon in three parts, its no brainer, but the video was entertaining and salmon was in one big piece for entertaining reason.
No they don't. Maybe I should make a video of my Elcy-Rin eating and getting her food stolen by Bullet to show you how wrong you are. When Elcy-Rin (one of my cats) is eating, and Bullet (the other cat) comes up and even just gets NEAR her food bowl, she will just stand back and let him steal her food, she'll typically even leave the room without a complaint. Often times I'll give them both food, since Bullet prefers pates and she won't touch the stuff, I'll put a pate in one bowl and the shreds of meat with sauce she likes, and leave the room, and then 30 seconds later she'll be following me around looking distressed and looking hopeful that I'll feed her something else, and I'll just know, that Bullet was a stinker and stole her food and she just lets him do it. He prefers pates nominally, but what he really likes is whatever it is SHE'S eating and she absolutely will not ever stand her ground one inch over it. And I don't even know if I should stop it since despite the fact he eats 2/3 of the food between them, he's always dangerously skinny and she's always fat so I kind of don't want to stop him from stealing her food for that reason.
It's also hard to get her to eat things in general, unless I am petting her while she eats. Honestly I don't understand how she got fat. But she definitely never growls or shows any aggression over food, not to me and not even to Bullet.
That first baby definitely needs a good talking too. My kitten is the most loving baby ever but once it hears the dreaded bath running that love turns to this 👻👻👻👻👻😸😸😸😸😅😵
ohmygoodness so lucky to have all those kittens! I had a kitty who would sit in front of me & eat morsels but if she got a big piece she would look both ways and run off with it! haha
I use to feed a stray feral cat that growled when I fed her. She sounded possessed but I knew she was a little sweetheart, just a defense mechanism.Unfortunately I could not trap her for adoption (2 smart for that) so I had to leave her when I moved away
My friend was staying over temporarily because he needed to find a new apartment. The mommy brought home something small, like a little ground squirrel, and gave it to the babies. One baby took it, and he was dragging it around, and flipping it, and trying to rip it open so that he could eat it. They do actually eat them, if they are strong enough to get it open. I went outside, and my friend yelled for me to come in, because, he said, the kitten was making 'the most godawful noise.' He was growling and snarling and howling at anyone who came near him, because he was busy working on that little ground squirrel and didn't want ANYONE to take it away from him.
All hungry kittens can growl a bit - they get over it fast if they all get enough to eat. Just pet the babies and talk high and sweet to them - and make sure they always have enough to eat.
0:48 2 types of cats : 1. The finisher cat : 2. (In the background) the full cat : 2 types of cats 0:54 : 1. The non sharer : 2. The sad because the other cat didnt share
My can did this when she was a baby (Whilst living with other grown cats) I'm not a cat expert, but I believe once they understand that there well always be food available (Via you feeding them) they learn not to be insecure about their food
I think you need to change their batteries.
“Nnnnnng nya nya nya nya” while eating 😂
lmao
😂
I like how they growl as they eat the fish, it's like that moment when you're really mad but also really hungry XD
Aka hangry

Sweetie, don't growl with your mouth full. You lose the effect and replace it with cuteness.
We both know that if a kitten growled we'd still find it cute
Possessive of the fish noms 😂 lol

They’re so cute! Even if they’re angry ♡
most satisfying thing to watch on a break
Oh come on even if kittens get mad they still look cute

Most of the cats I've had have not been possessive either.

my kitten did this, too. this behaviour automatically disappears as adult cat because they realise they get enough food from you anyways.
whos mad at you ? i would slice the salmon in three parts, its no brainer, but the video was entertaining and salmon was in one big piece for entertaining reason.
But then they wouldn't have an Angry Kittens video to post on UA-cam. Think.
Metro is most definitely right but this video is so funny at 1:14 when the kitty approaches and the muncher makes that noise perfectly in time
All kittens do the same. This behaviour stops when they get adults
All kittens and cats do that when they have meat to eat , it's a message to other kittens to stay away from my meat 😱😱😱😂😂😂😂

I want salmon now

😂😂😂 he ate it all... I watched again they all had their moment 💖😂😂😂
They growl at you while accepting food and nourishment from you. Cats truly are the real tsunderes
ohmygoodness so lucky to have all those kittens! I had a kitty who would sit in front of me & eat morsels but if she got a big piece she would look both ways and run off with it! haha
Tinker Diggens ctfu
my cat is like a retard....if he cant lick food into his mouth he wont eat
he never uses his teeth
I wouldn't call it "anger," but rather simply their beastly instincts kicking in when they've got something REALLY GOOD to gnaw on.
they growl only when they taste meat for the first time. instinct kicking in.
"no that MY chimken"
The growling is a protective measure, but they're still cute 😊❤
The kittens was like, "you don't like me when I'm hungry".
I use to feed a stray feral cat that growled when I fed her. She sounded possessed but I knew she was a little sweetheart, just a defense mechanism.Unfortunately I could not trap her for adoption (2 smart for that) so I had to leave her when I moved away

I would be angry like that kitten if someone were to disturb me whilst im eating
This is how I act when I'm at a bar, drinking a beer. When someone gets near me I growl at them, you know, 'cause they might want my beer.
lmao
The noise makes me laugh 😂🤣
We had a cat like this many, many years ago. He would growl and hiss, even when no one was around. He loved fish, and raw beef!
i love your cats and kittens i was here way before the kittens were born
That one kitten ate all the salmon. Funniest part is that he/she is the smallest and yet intimidates them all😂
Probably thinking their reflection in the camera's another cat. xD
We had cats that growled when they ate.
It was such a cute sound. 😍😢
Oh my god they are so cute I like the way how they growl it's so cute!!!!

We may be brothers. But for food, each cat on its own.
These little guys weren't angry they was just protecting their vittles.
How Precious.
