- Update (Jan 2021): Flash is removed from all browsers, no more web flash game creations. :( I used flash so I could put games on Deviant Art. Too bad Adobe killed flash by the end of 2020. Anyway, thanks for these two tutorials I've created these mini fan games. It's far from a Megaman tutorial but these 2 are the most helpful. I also got wonderful opportunity thanks to these. I've created this stage last Nov 2018 to be a Rockman Crossover Reborn fan game but it's not fully finished and it kinda doesn't feel right to do a Rockman Crossover fan game especially Capcom finally revived Megaman. I just have a weird feeling that it's probably impolite or something. There are other reasons but I realized I'm just being pessimistic. But you know, the art I did for Rockman Crossover Reborn 01 is one of the arts I saw on Laced Records artist brief that got me chosen for the official MM 1-11 Vinyl OST Collection. XD My arts made it official!
I just got back to this last December. Supposedly, it will have a different gameplay but it's hard to do. I just stick to X controls but with a different dash system. No controller support but I made it simple as possible.
There's supposed to be a second character playable, it's Prometheus! but I got frustrated. XD But I might go back and update it. :) Hope you'll enjoy the mini fan game.
Normal mode is actually casual friendly and the boss is easy to standard difficulty.

Instead a direct fan game of Rockman Crossover, I made a Megaman incarnation of Over-1 like how X is an incarnation of Mega etc. I like the idea of fighting enemies on different timelines so I made a fan game of it. It has no story though.
I don't think it's going to be played by many but I still put effort on it. :)
Now that the dark age of Megaman has finally ended and more games are coming! I think it's inappropriate I still keep my fan concept vids in public. People liked it but it should be in private/unlisted now. It's just a way of expressing my wish for the series to continue especially ZX and X. The only good thing for those is it will spark people's interest on a sequel. Only my old ZX3 drawings could pass official standards btw. If you want those to be actual designs, I'm not a producer or director and the original artist for the sequels should be the actual artist. You could still see my old drawings on my DA though. :)
If you don't know it yet, Laced Records and Capcom gave me opportunity to draw official arts for the MM Vinyl OST Collection! :) Like I said on DA, I don't actually pursue professional work on Capcom, drawing fan arts is just a hobby with passion. If I'll have opportunity to draw official arts. I want it to be a commission online and it actually happened! I never expected a fan like me could draw official arts! :O

WOW!! So you managed to get official artworks done for Capcom? Dang, if only I was able to show em' my ideas of Mega man... I mean, seriously, I have a Mega Man character I had for 4 years now, and his name's Mega Man Dimension! I would show him to you if I could... but problem is that your artworks are on Deviantart, and mine are on facebook... that and I never heard of Deviantart although I seen it... I never got the chance to fully access it, so...

It's the little details that always make my day(intentional or not): I love those gaps where the frame rate slows when there's too much sprites in screen just like the old games and the overlapping sprites when it transitions to another scene. It's just those little details
Nice to see that you're carrying on the tradition of the train level trope that appears Megaman Zero and ZX in your fan game it's a nice touch!
Trains're in X too. Heck, they're throughout CAPCOM when you think about it.

I feel like the Boss's second intro line "You're never getting out." could be changed to reflect some kind of hostile hospitality fitting of his apparent age from his voice, maybe something like "Unfortunately, my guests never leave." or something similar.
A fantastic blend of the X4-6 visual motifs with the styling of the ZX Series. Great work!!

Duuuuude, if you do this using 100% original sprites and characters you could create a whole game that I would definitely pay lot's of money to play it (and I'm sure I'm not the only one that would do it, probably lots of people too!). Keep on it!! This looks just INCREDIBLE!

This is beautifully made. Also your choice of music for this is great too. Max Heat is probably favourite track in MMZ4 and it really fits this stage.
Awesome job, only issue to me Is that It Is too fast paced... You basically speedran the whole level AND the boss.. aside from that, magnificent work
To be honest, if you ever want to make another high quality Mega Man fangame or continue working on this or a previous one, I mean… you probably can. Mega Man X Corrupted is a great example of a high quality Mega Man fangame being worked on by probably one guy, yet there doesn’t appear to be any disrespect towards Capcom with the person working on that fan game. At least your work probably wouldn’t be as disrespectful as Mega Man Soccer if it still turns out to be disrespectful towards Capcom in the end in your opinion.
The only problem I see here, is Flash being removed from the internet, so you’d probably have to take it to a whole other game engine.

This is so epic! I loved the armor design, and that special move in the beggining really surprised me, the good way. The stage was really well made, going to play it, for sure!

Weil - Palpatine (evil mastermind behind everything)(want's to rule everything with his powerful warrior by his side)
Omega - Darth Vader (god guy rebuilt to be an unstoppable force of destruction)(Has a plot twist involving the hero)
Cyber elf X - Obi-Wan
Grey - Finn (both defected and joined the resistance)
Ashe - Rey (both decedent to the main villain)
Prometheus - Kylo Ren (tortured bad guy that betrays the Villain)

What do you get when you mix Mega Man (any series bar BN and Star Force), the game Rockman XOver (yes, I know, it's supposed to be Crossover, but I couldn't pronounce it well back then and that was the title C(r)apcom gave us), and put it all together, all while making the game play at 60FPS (5-30FPS if your computer's not strong enough)?!

In my opinion, there is no need to feel impolite or rude to the megaman company, they always make unsatisfied game starting from MMZ 4 and so on. For example they didn't let us be/use omega zero until MMZX and MMZXA, went will they let us be/ A-trans to prometheus and pandora. Megaman company really should pay MORE attention to their fans yet what they gave back is garbage.
Nevertheless good job on making this wholesome game, you have my support. I really appreciate your effort on making it. Its even better than the official game.
and MMZ & MMZX collection suck. Nothing new, just a game that scam fans money just to play THE same old thing. Heck, they didn't even announce of prometheus and pandora as playable.

You lack optimization much dude. It probably has something to do with the number sprites on screen at any given time. If you ever come back to this, try either batching certain sprites together or working on the way that they're called up from memory.

beautiful design, but I believe the flash that shows up after killing an enemy gets annoying over time. Keep it up! :D

you know what would be the next step in the mmx games, enemies that actually try to kill you, i mean insted of just firing aimlessly like environmet obstacles they could try to shot while retreating, use the environment in their favor, or come in units of 4 fire, then float up with trusters or something. I always thought that the enemies should have been acting like an army with the intention to kill.
Where did did you learn to animate these type of stuff:by yourself or animation school?
You should make rather "80 robot masters in 50ss ProtoMan and bass version" or "88 robot masters in 60ss

I dont want to offend you but, this level seems to be intentionally easy, the mavericks shots are slower than your normal walk, plus they take to long to shot at you, not even need to avoid the shots, almost everything was on shot direction, in most megaman games, theres always a part that if u miss the move, you die atm, and that parts can be noticed afther you die at them, in the whole level theres was nothing like that, as for me everything looked like "im so good at this level for non dying or being hit" but the level was designed for non killing the player, like it was designed by the good ones to make feel better the hero's, not by the villains trying to kill or stop the hero, you can do something great no doubt, but dont be soft to the player
So how much you want for the full game? $90 $100?...$500?

It has some optimization issues (unless that is the recording program) but it sure looks like a kickass game
