The Shapeshifters play Glitterbox at Hï Ibiza Friday August 25 alongside Session Victim, Todd Terry and Purple Disco Machine
Before any of you start with the "Can't see the mixer lights nonsense" - think about it.
1/ Mixmag was there watching and can assure you lit's just the glare as it's outside.
2/ If you actually think that a well known DJ would, while being filmed for Mixmag, with a camera on the mixer, turn off the equipment and pretend to mix on it, mimicking the EQing and filters perfectly in time with a 'pre- mixed track' (probably harder than actually mixing as you'd have to know each nuance inside out) then frankly, you're a moron.

+Mixmag Yeah but let's be honest,it's way more easily to mix on cdjs then it is Real Turntables and Real Vinyl.Not saying this isn't a great mix cause it is.that being said it would be nice to have an all real vinyl set every now and then.....Long live real vinyl D.J.s!!!!!

Funky Disco House....Oh my God... My old pal...since the 2000's... Awesome house. The most melodic and beautiful house until now. Shapeshifters and Freemasons are my best ever ever DJ's of all the time

Had the pleasure of seeing the Shapeshifters play B2B with John Morales at Hi-Ibiza in July 17. Like this set.... absolute quality and keeping it classy all night.
This is just amazing period. That is really spinning with feeling and good vibes. Only real djs spin amazing like this to where "UA-cam trolls" think its fake. Cdjs and mp3 controllers are like candy for a dj.

Love this. I got in trouble with my wife for watching at 2am with the sound bar cranked up to 11! Worth it though and a fab inspiration for any aspiring DJs. One thing to note is, if the DJ is enjoying the set, then so are the audience, regardless of if they are happily chatting with friends. DJing is extremely nuanced and you can see from this that the V-Fest audience, although not focused entirely on the performance are enjoying the music, the mixing and the vibe....Probably waiting for Lola's Theme!
