loved this! something wasn't right, it was bothering me as you showed the costumes and set. i realized it was too colorful, as i watched it on black and white t.v! thank you for the flashback to my youth!
another favorite is when Pa built a monument of stone for God. his adopted son (role played by Jason Bateman) couldnt walk. havent seen this one in awhile it was tearjerker like other show. when Caroline arrive there stood Pa and his son after lighting struck. watched the 50th last week on utube so happy Jonathan Gilbert was there..❤I have many favorites from Lauras revenge after learning Nellie lied ..Ma's last minute decsion to cut the infection out..Cinnamon chicken and the mud fight with Laura and Nellie and Pa no question just punching Almando cause he seen Laura in a robe..the Sweet 16 kiss. i could go on and on. I still cry when the Blindschool burned Alice holding Adam and Marys baby. or how Mr.Edwards finely won Ma over sweet potatoes with a extra one for him.. ❤

It would have been awesome to have had it on the set before its was torn down. Could you imagine how many more that would have been there. Heck i would have paid to see it
The actual town set is gone. They had a mock recreation up at Bug Sky ranch in the locations but not buildings…just facades. That was an extra cost. We didn’t do that part.
I know there is one in Branson, MO and I think one in Pennsylvania. There is a Facebook page for these events. But I’m not too sure about the particulars.
I heard a story Harriett Olsen once. I heard that she had some 8 serious boyfriends but couldn't keep a single one of them. Once they got a load of her domineering attitude, they all turned and RAN the other way! Then along came Nels, and he learned to put up with her, absorb all her stuff, and yet he could put his foot down about her attitudes, but loved her anyways.
I personally think most all of these actors are very well off ad they should not charge to get pictures with fans because a lot of the fans have fixed incomes
Some were cheaper than others. I think a lot of them are working actors…not really stars anymore. Not sure of where they’re at. Most were asking a fair price
