I personally own a Pandora bracelet. I purchased it so I can collect charms from different cities or countries I visit. For that purpose, I don’t find collecting charms expensive at all. And people should always remember that this is not something you throw out after some years, you can always pass this along to your kids in the future, along with the stories behind each charm you purchased.
And that poor kid will be stuck having to wear a gold"plated" outdated not so unique tarnished crappy bracelet&anyone older than them who sees it will be thinking "wow, mom cheaped out on the heirloom thing". If you love it great wear it be happy but don't force a fashion fad from ur generation on a kid, maybe give them something of value that no one else has or had that's a personal heirloom.

Absolutely love pandora! I love the meaning each charm represents. I have 4 bracelets and my mom has one. I just recently receive my last bracelet this month for completely my first year of grad school along with some charms and i also have a bracelet I receive when I completed my first semester. I buy a charm or two every month. It’s great to take advantage of their sales. They recently had a buy 2 get the 3rd pandora item for free. I will continue to buy pandora for myself and purchase for other people. People complain that pandora is expensive, but if you enjoy something you do not worry about the cost.
I worked for a Pandora store for about 2 years and absolutely loved it! However, as employees we never received the staff “Winiper” charm unless you were the store manager which was a disappointment. The charm itself was larger than I thought but its meaning behind it was pretty cool. When I worked there, it was so much fun working with customers and helping build their own bracelets especially when they’re first time Pandora shoppers. I now own 5 bracelets all with different themes! A snake chain that’s completely full(which is my all about me bracelet with all kinds of charms that reflect me. With charms like the Artist Pallet, the cheerleading megaphone, a limited edition Georgia “Home” charm,a family tree etc.) then a bangle(which is my “Fairytale” themed bracelet with the Disney’s 3 Alice in wonderland charms along with the fairytale book charm, and the curious cat). Then I have my navy blue leather bracelet which wraps around twice around my wrist that doesn’t have any charms on it. I decided I liked the way it looks without any charms plus it stretches out if there are more than about 6 charms on it. The leather bracelet goes well with my open bangle bracelet which only has two charms on it; both my initials on each side of the ends where the stoppers hold them from moving about. Then finally I have my Starry night snake chain bracelet which I decided to theme “Guys Night Out” (with charms that have anything to do with blue and night. I have my horoscope Pisces sign, stars and moon related charm and even an owl!) I plan to own a rose and silver themed bracelet in the future as well! @@jenniferperez3772 Hi. At the moment i just keep my bracelet individually in the pandora box provided when i purchase it from stores. I use them randomly like everyweek i change my jewelry and before i store them i clean them first. Luckily they dont tarnish and hopefully wil not create a problem.
Thanks for the documentary, it makes me more proud & privileged to wear Pandora never taking them off ever since my daughter gave them to me and which even make them most precious ❤❤❤
😍They are beautiful but I still believe they are ridiculously over priced.☹️and on top of that I don’t appreciate that they went from a wonderful blend of metals on the rose To now rose gold plated 😡and yet extremely over priced!
Minerva Troche The PANDORA Rose is still a metal blend but it’s also plated in 14k rose gold. this ensures that, over time, as the plating fades, it fades to pink. All of their jewelry is hand finished with materials that are ethically sourced, thus explaining the cost. Every piece is passed through 30 sets of hands before it’s deemed sellable. The quality is incredible and that justifies the cost.
If you think it's overpriced than don't buy it. In my opinion, the design, material, skills, marketing, labor, machines, factory(electricity, water, etc.), store rent, staff training, promotion, and other factors are all in the price. And the workers are treated well under their Pandora Ethics programme. The price is actually more reasonable than many would think.
Ruizu F she’s just giving her opinions and I’m sure a lot of people can agree with her comment, I’m a Pandora collector and do believe some items are overpriced that doesn’t mean I won’t buy, I always try to buy when they have promotions/clearance and always get myself something on Black Friday
I absolutely Love Pandora jewelry! My amazing son bought my first bracelet for my Birthday years ago. Every birthday and Holidays he buys me Pandora.I have 4 completely loaded bracelets and 3 necklaces 2 of which are completely filled. I’m not surprised men shop Pandora more than women amazing men know what to buy the amazing women in their lives!
I've never considered buying a Pandora bracelet myself, but some friends bought me one for my birthday and I have to say I was pleasently surprised by its quality. it's lovely. I only have one Murano glass charm and a couple of clips to keep it in the right place. it's simple and chic. Curiously enough I never though of adding any more charms to it.
I was never into jewelry but my now husband got me my first bracelet and charm when we were still dating and when we got our cat together. Then we talked about getting charms for our milestones and important events in our lives. Now we have a son and will soon migrate as a family. I love that it reminds me of these moments in our lives and it's not too expensive too.
I see people talking crap about Pandora in the comments saying it’s over priced. What do you expect for sterling silver? It’s not cheap and the charms are dense, it’s not lightweight. If you want quality then you’re going to have to pay for it. Beyond that, charm bracelets aren’t going anywhere, they’ve been popular for a hundred years and they’re going to continue to be. Stop hating😂🤷🏻♀️
My Pandora bracelet tells a story about me, when I graduated and became a nurse, I got a charm that symbolizes healthcare. When I got my US citizenship, I got a USA 🇺🇸 flag and Statue of Liberty and so on and so forth. Now I want charms that represents all the countries and my travel in my lifetime.
I bought the bracelet because I think they are beautiful and look elegant! But I hardly wear them I like to collect them and bought different charms . Thanks for the facts you told us, being a Thai person, I feel proud of the story that where Pandora originally came from 😍
Yes I have a pandora bracelet with charms, rings and earrings. I love them and I feel it’s something I can keep for a very long time and wear dressed up or down. Plus I really live the special meaning and how I remember why I got each charm. Very sentimental to me!!!
I took back my ring right after the lady handed me my receipt and told me “just be sure you don’t swim with it bathe with or sleep with it”.... and I’m like uh oh 🚩 🚩!!! Then I asked why if it was real rose gold she said it’s only “plated” therefore the water could still change its original color and when you sleep on it, it could change its original form. Felt like a jerk but I kindly handed it back and asked for a refund. Spent a hundred bucks more for REAL GOLD ring that could survive the next tsunami and hurricane 🤗
Yes i own few collections from Pandora. And my favorite is the Pandora Essence Collections. I like it that they are not heavy on the wrist. Im sad that the collection are already retired. Though I can still buy some of its pieces from online sellers. Over all I love Pandora jewelry started the collection february of 2015 up until now. More power Pandora. 👍😊
But of course I have Pandora charms! I love them, unfortunately I have to go a bit far away to get them because we don’t have a store here where I live. My favorite charms are Disney charms
I am a collector of Pandora and the top buying customer in my store in Tucson Az , I love them ! I am in process of contacting them to see if I can design one !
I love Pandora bracelets. I have three classic ones and four from the Essence line. I cannot get enough of them. The truth is that many of the charms are gifts from my family. They are so glad that they have found something which will always be a nice surprise but still if I don't like it I can change it for something else. I have also bought rings and earrings from Pandora. I love the quality and the service. Whenever there was an issue they always fixed it for me for free or even exchange for a new one. Some charms are overpriced I agree, but you don't just pay for the weight of silver or the stone, how about the handcraft? It is a luxury item so I wouldn't consider them too expensive.
I worked for Pandora, never received the charm that "employees" only get. I have so many bracelets, have spent a small fortune in Pandora. If you keep them in plastic bags, they will not tarnish and will keep their shine and luster for a very long time. Of course, Pandora does offer free cleanings if yours happens to oxidize and tarnish.
Pandora was my method of tracking my journey around the world , every time I look at it I remember fantastic 3 months cruising the world visiting 33 countries , will be heirloom passed down the family ..
Pandora is at every corner alongside with H&M and Zara...looks more like massmarket to me! With all the quality complaints the only lux part about it is the price. And - surprise! - another Danish company called Troldekugler (now known as Trollbeads) came up with the idea of making charm bracelets back in 1976. Compare that with Pandora's 1982... yes, Trolls are my choice!
I own two Pandora bracelets and I call it the “Family Charm Bracelet” because my sister, cousins from London & Canada keep adding charms to my collection. While on vacation in New Zealand, we visited the Pandora shop there and my sister purchased one for me that cost $100/-. I think it was overpriced! I’m Blessed and spoiled!
Well because I love pandora I owned about 5 pandora bracelet quite a few necklaces and charms .4 of my bracelet are full . Keep up the good work with all the pandora charms rings necklaces bracelets . Thank you Pandora .
In which country is cheaper the gold then a silver charm. The goldens price r double,at least. Pandora is excellent quality and modern and fresh. Who use gold nowadays? ,maybe old ppl. Its oldfashioned, retro.
`An item is only ever worth what it`s purchaser will pay for it`. It could be horse shit with a fancy name on it and people will buy it because of the fancy name, but it`s still literally horse shit. Never underestimate the sheer power of stupid people in large enough numbers.
Jewelry/accessory was created by our ancestors as an identity of what tribe they belonged to or what a man role was in tribe or to symbolize something, a reward for doing something like being brave or just to style their bodies. That's the primary reasons why we have jewelry and not the money.
Well, don't know about you but the people in my country buy real gold bar and jewellery not just for fun because it is an investement. (the value keep increasing about 100% plus every year especially afer covid) we also have a lot of companies that buys and sold used jewellery. They would sold their gold jewellery when they feel the need for cash or just to get extra money from increasing price after selling it. Its a great deal really for used jewellery. Its more expensive than the time when they bought it.
And we only interested in buying 22k, and 24k gold and higher if there is one. Lower than that is just considered unprofitable for us in the long term just like pandora charm.
That crown was released years ago- before Kate and William got married. Whomever told you it was for their third kid and for the latest wedding was just selling you a story.
I owe 13 Pandora bracelets 4 necklaces 8 rings 8 pairs of earrings, there is always something new to purchase and I'm addicted. Got 3 Tiffany bracelets and 1 necklace , Pandora has more creative options
I have a pandora charm bracelet, my mum and sister got it for me. I only wear it on Christmas day! Funny how you say "affordable " it's the most expensive thing I own. Other than my house!! Haha
That’s what I don’t like with Pandora; it’s just gold plated. Pandora’s designs are nice, but carry no value because it’s not pure gold. It’s just not for me who gets allergic reaction for non-gold jewelries.
They are still pure sterling silver which isnt as valuable as gold but it is a precious metal and is still valuable none the less. Its still better than swarovski who's jewelry is a metal alloy with a rhodium plating over it, basically its overpriced costume jewelry. Now that is what carries no value.
Riyen Ang totally agree and their quality went down and as I believe their prices actually did go up. The average cost for a charm is $50-$70 from $40. One example is the classic pandora bangle was $70 when it came out now it is $100 (AUD).
Well, there's a few things going on, I only have one bangle with three charms, they don't really match each other (except for two from the Disney Aladdin Collection) but they have a meaning for me. I think is gonna be the first and the last because even for the design and the material, is over price, I don't complain about mine, it's beautiful, works pretty good and a have a lovely reminder of a special trip that I can wear. I've red a lot about the Quality is not the same, the charms look cheaper or the price is too high. I think it's a beautiful gift for special events, You could afford it if, for example, you'll Buy a single charm and use it with a simple chain (not from Pandora makes it cheaper) or like in my case, having a "small Collection" with disccounts, is fine. Despite of the comments I find the charms cute with the perfect size and beautiful designs (I specially love the ones with phrases). In my opinion being a collectionist it's waist of time
Well it’s truly deceptive to withhold from the public (the mystery) behind the name knowing that the meaning carries such powerful entanglement....... Once you start buying you cannot stop, and it’s not a coincidence. I’ve experienced pandora, and know now there is something behind it all.
I personally own a charm bracelet that my aunt gifted me with charms that represented me and now recently on my 18th my mom gave me one it’s a beautiful tradition I get one every milestone birthday and every bracelet represents who I am at that moment in time ❤
@Ayin Cruz You're wrong, if you look on places like ebay. You can see the rarer or older, or pandora x disney for example. Some of the charms have doubled, tripled in price. It's actually a good investment.
Ayin Cruz ABSOLUTELY.. AS AN APPRAISER & OWNED A CHAIN OF PAWNSHOPS.. Most Pandora are NOT PAWNABLE. Unlike Gold & Diamonds that are naturally HIGH VALUED. To the right collectors online or fanatics, possible. BUT talking about MARKET VALUE or INSTANT CASH, SILVER IS INEXPENSIVE. Pawnshop does not accept “Gold plated” accessories. The valuable metal content is what we are interested in. We appraiise base on karat or purity of Gold or karat and grade of the Gem NOT on Craftmanship. Iron and alloys are worthless w/c Pandora major contents are made of.
Eminy Sanz Glad to share =) Been in the jewellry business for 25 years. Thats why even a BVLGARI ring doesn’t worth much. Bulgari ring is no longer Bulgari once smelted. Value is worth base on the gold weight content NOT on the brand. Also, Real gold has engraved stamp and docs.
Why would anyone buy it for the investment you dumbasses, it's just an easy cutesy gift where each charm is supposed to have your own significance to it.
I started collecting in 2010 and in 2020 I’m still buying. I love Pandora and I have a very, very large collection of charm bracelets, rings and necklaces.
Great video... smart, concise yet thorough. I learned a lot about Pandora with this. Frankly, I find it as clunky and saturated(con), however, each had a personal story to tell (pro). I will definitely give it a more serious consideration for a gift in the future. Danke, Alux!
I received my first Pandora earrings as a gift from my fiancé this weekend. He knows I've always wanted something from them since my own country's jewelry is really bad quality for a very expensive price and I have become more interested in man-made crystals since it is more sustainable
I love Pandora and so does my twin sister, we buy each other charms for Christmas and birthdays i also buy charms for my grandsons girlfriend who loves pandora too
Love this company and I do like to collect different charms but the necklaces are my very favorite! I am always blown away by how many new pieces they come out with. I love the quality and designs for everybody!
It’s not overpriced if you look at a video of how charms are made you would simply understand how much work is put in it and it also has diamonds on it and it’s a jewelry just like gold it just doesn’t get black like cheap ones
Own a Pandora bracelet, every charm has a meaning behind it. Like my kids, my dog, when I became a godmother, travels, my Chinese sign, and my belief. Now it’s full and the family starts laughing mom time for a second one? We bought our daughter one and she has rings too. You can make it as expensive as you want to, or make a wishlist on their site and so family can see witch one you love to have. Success guaranteed.
it’s sad reading the comments of people saying they’ll keep their bracelet forever and pass it on to their children. unfortunately, pandora bracelets will not last that long. £50 pandora bracelets will obviously not last as long as tiffany. you get what you pay for
I own a bracelet full of charms, some bangles, and some other stuff from them ( stackable bangles, rings, one necklace) and I love love love their jewelry... may be it's expensive, but this is made with good materials and it's good quality.
👸🏻Queen☆ I wouldn't call it complete trash tbh, my mom has some she's had for years and they still look good, you just have to find a good deal, generally outlets are good. You just have to be careful in finding out which collection it's from (Pandora Shine is gold plated while others are actual gold) and looking at the marking on the inside where itll tell you the material, etc etc. Shop smart and Pandora really isn't that expensive. Alex and Ani, however, is trash. Now that's too expensive and tarnishes easily.
Yep really dislike them, when i see someone wearing one im thinking"oh , no please don't flash that at me in an attempt to get me to ask you about it, btw you do know they were in fashion fr a second about 10/12 yrs ago? I gifted a bangle for my sister and 4 starter charms. She LOVES it. She has always wanted a piece of the collection. I definitely told her about all of the scam sites offering cheap charms. They are not Pandora. All of the charms I have purchased ranged between $70.00 - $350.00. 18 f you think you can purchase the charms for $20.00.....its fake and extremely cheaply made.
I have a Pandora bracelet it’s my first ever bracelet from Pandora and would be the last....it’s so expensive!
its handmade so
Sarah Kolednik stop with your handmade bullshit. Haha
Pandora isn’t cheap but remember its jewellery unless you’re going to a cheap place like lovisa jewellery is expensive as a whole
Mine is worth 600 dollars
If you wanna buy cheap then you're gonna get cheap
Minerva Troche They are really cheap I mean affordable!
@@louisef1425 As an employee I can confirm good treatment.
Just received a Pandora bracelet with two charms as a gift two weeks ago and I love it. Now I need more charms.
It's quite expensive,but so cute..love it
because its handmade
As far as jewelry goes, it's very inexpensive.
I love Pandora! Thank you for the fun facts about them. ☺️💕
Just luv Pandora, have collected a lot of bracelets and their beautiful charms which are released every season 💝
Yes I am the fan of Pandora.......I love this jewelry line and I collect them! 👍👍
“Fact” 5 is untrue. That crown came out years ago (at least 5), way before the royal baby.
Never knew Pandora is Danish!
I love Pandora ❤️❣️ from the Philippines more power God bless you always
Pandora is fashion jewelry to me ..
I don't understand why this costume jewelry is so expensive to be fake
I been bathing and sleepin wit mines for an yr now neva took it off
That's why I just collect charms & bracelets.
They're sort of investment for me.
I love my pandora charms. But I prefer to have minimal charms on my bracelet. Plus charms are very expensive, which I dont want to buy extra.
I am a collector of Pandora and the top buying customer in my store in Tucson Az , I love them ! I am in process of contacting them to see if I can design one !
I’m a Pandora collector from Tucson but I’m sure I’m not one if the top buyers lol
I have over 400 charms and more than 35 brackets as well and other bangles, earrings and necklaces 🙈🙈🙈
I'm a Pandora charm fan. Wait for the sales. eg.: Buy xmas charms in Jan.
That's what I do too! When I find a charm that represents me, I wait till it is on sales 😉
Still be to much for me.
I’m 13 and I own pandora it was a birthday gift and now I collect charms from different places.
Pam Meyer does the store cleaning in any way damage or cause wear to your Pandora?
The stock is a monster from this level. Just unbelievable to be able to buy the most profitable and successful jewelry company at 8x earnings
I own over 30 full Pandora bracelets and I used to wear 15 on each arm. I have every bangle and I’ve got countless rings.
Keeperof Thechildren tacky

Oh and I adore the bumble bee charm
Pandora was my method of tracking my journey around the world , every time I look at it I remember fantastic 3 months cruising the world visiting 33 countries , will be heirloom passed down the family ..
😲😲 How nice!!
LOVE Pandora. I have a heart clasp bracelet with charms, Rose ring and necklace. I'm going to be getting a new bracelet soon!
Great video! I’m looking to but my first Pandora bracelet and even more excited after learning more about the company.
I have over 100 pandora charms and yes I love them and I collect them, among necklaces bracelets and rings, I have a huge selection at home😊😊😊
Well because I love pandora I owned about 5 pandora bracelet quite a few necklaces and charms .4 of my bracelet are full . Keep up the good work with all the pandora charms rings necklaces bracelets . Thank you Pandora .
.108 diamond? that’s 1/10th of a carat!! $800 for a 14k charm with diamond dust? no thanks!
I find it stupid to buy invaluable accessories that cost exactly as pure gold items if not more.
I have three Pandora bracelets and they are each pretty full. I love them and been collecting them long before they really picked up in the USA.
That crown was released years ago- before Kate and William got married. Whomever told you it was for their third kid and for the latest wedding was just selling you a story.
No, I do not own any Pandora charms or bracelet. It is not good for resale. 18k gold PLATED over silver. Pandora founder is a player and secretive.
Dolsie M Then just don't resell the jewelry and keep it...
Only certain charms are 18k gold plated. It’s called the PANDORA Shine. A totally different collection from the 14k gold charms
Only certain charms are 18k gold plated over sterling silver. It’s called the PANDORA Shine. A totally different collection from the 14k gold charms
Dolsie M it sure is! What a scam!!!
Same with all designer jewellery tbh.
I think they're overpriced in the UK and they look tacky. They are not well made and use very little precious metal.
I owe 13 Pandora bracelets 4 necklaces 8 rings 8 pairs of earrings, there is always something new to purchase and I'm addicted. Got 3 Tiffany bracelets and 1 necklace , Pandora has more creative options
So which one is better? Tiffany and co or Pandora?
@@kilnio2197 in my opinion they are the same in relation to silver jewelry, for gold Tiffany's but a lot more expensive
Pandora has some jewelry that are 14k gold.
What do you expect from that price tho?
They also have 14 carat charms and bracelets not only gold plated
They are still pure sterling silver which isnt as valuable as gold but it is a precious metal and is still valuable none the less. Its still better than swarovski who's jewelry is a metal alloy with a rhodium plating over it, basically its overpriced costume jewelry. Now that is what carries no value.
they still remain expensive
Riyen Ang
totally agree and their quality went down and as I believe their prices actually did go up. The average cost for a charm is $50-$70 from $40. One example is the classic pandora bangle was $70 when it came out now it is $100 (AUD).
@@rachelabodale7375 Do you know it costs them $3 to make and they sell it for $60. 😭😭😭😭😂😂😂😂😂 Suckers
branded things.
Owesome Music pandora sells to the shop for $20 and then the shop sells to us for $60.
Rachela Bodale no the classic bracelet is still $60-$65 your facts are wrong
I love Pandora. Have been buying Pandora for a long time.
In my opinion being a collectionist it's waist of time
I am from Thailand 🇹🇭 thanks Pandora.
Well it’s truly deceptive to withhold from the public (the mystery) behind the name knowing that the meaning carries such powerful entanglement....... Once you start buying you cannot stop, and it’s not a coincidence. I’ve experienced pandora, and know now there is something behind it all.
I personally own a charm bracelet that my aunt gifted me with charms that represented me and now recently on my 18th my mom gave me one it’s a beautiful tradition I get one every milestone birthday and every bracelet represents who I am at that moment in time ❤
To be brief, it's an overpriced made of steel and silver accessories.
@@lorenzdavid9409 Thank you for your valuable information. Its good to know.
I am in Love with Pandora Jewelry🌺
I love lots of charms on charm bracelet. Pretty much every company is increasing prices lately. Not just Pandora I'm sure
I have a Pandora and it is filled with charm
Watching this while wearing a Pandora ring xD I even saw it in the video a few times
No value at all. Just Cubic Zirconia. Easy to tarnish. Needed a lot of cleaning service.
Thank you got sharing Pandora story. Yes I own 2 charms. I Love them so much
it’s sad reading the comments of people saying they’ll keep their bracelet forever and pass it on to their children. unfortunately, pandora bracelets will not last that long. £50 pandora bracelets will obviously not last as long as tiffany. you get what you pay for
I love my Pandora bracelets, rings and charms
I like its Rose range and also its limited edition Shine collection. Silver tarnishes and needs constant maintenance.
I own a bracelet full of charms, some bangles, and some other stuff from them ( stackable bangles, rings, one necklace) and I love love love their jewelry... may be it's expensive, but this is made with good materials and it's good quality.
pandora is actually very midprice compared to most luxury stores (e.g tiffany's or cartier)
@@Jenna-zw6zm agree &the materials are trash, total waste of money.
