Just saved me like 85 bucks. Thought it was harder to swap than that(soldering). So was about to buy a obc that already had a new lcd swapped in for 100 usd plus shipping(mine works just the screens bleeding real bad). Just bought the screen for 24 usd. As well as showed me a easier way to pull the obc out. Given i was thinking i was gonna have to pull the console again to get it out after swapping my console bulbs outs earlier this week. So thank you.
I haven't seen them on ebay, however there's a german company called 'partworks' (they have a .de tld) that seems to specialize in manufacturing replacement instrument panel parts for classic cars. They make and sell replacement LCD screens for both the 6 button and 13 button OBC models.
Dude thanks from Germany there is literally no German video on this thanks man
Wow, thank you for this. This was way easier that I thought it would be.
Thank you for this. Very useful!
What would a DIY-idiot like myself do without DIY-videos like this ? Thanks from Germany !
Nice explanation, thanks.

you can get replacement bulbs (so that the OBC lights up properly) from pelican parts for like 1.25. I think they're BMW specific
Hey guys, you can get the screen on our website :-)
partworks.de/index.php?lang=0&cl=search&searchparam=5138
