How awesome you got to meet Pete! Couple decent tractors and a lot of junk 😂
Yeah I figured our roads would collide eventually one day
Thanks for the video. That's not a bad price for 856. Nice to see Pete there.
What a good one! This video will go down in the books!
Nice to watch. I’ve always wanted to attend a farm or equipment auction, maybe this is the year ! Cool seeing Pete.
13:31 "Hey I know that guy" in Petes voice
My dad has an 856 and it was a great tractor. That online 6 engine had a rhythm that sad music at idle. I spent thousands of hours running that tractor when I was younger
Thanks for braving the elements to show us the goods,
I love to see you guys talking about these older tractors. You are so smart . My mom sold 10 full size oak cabinets with all hand mand parts in glass cylinders with arsinect in ever one. His father had some spectacular crystal, cdials sold them for 2500 bucks. I never got to learn about watchmakers bentch. Neal Apollo Beach Florida
Pete your equipment is just beautiful equipment brother. It's like having new tractor's and thing you pull. Neal Apollo Beach Florida
That sweet old louver hood 5000 was a steal.
I enjoyed the sale thanks for sharing
You guys are really good full of knowledge. Neal Apollo Beach Florida
Great FF video! As a former farmer, it's always interesting to see what old farm machinery is bringing! I found myself sitting here saying "do it Pete, do it!". 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ahahahahahahaha
"Hi I'm Pete and this is not my channel" 😀 Nothing wrong with red but I like that Case 1070, we ran Case power growing up.
Nothing against Case here
Love watching these, even though I'm a Massey Ferguson guy myself!!!! At least we both love red tractors!!
Glad you like them!
I always enjoy the videos, thanks
John in Indiana
..cool seeing another well known Farmall guy there too.
I thought for sure Pete would annihilate the competition on that 856.
Just wasn't the right machine
Good to see Pete, enjoyed the video Farmall. Pretty neat auction. I loved that 1086
It may have been their best tractor other than the 786
Looks like this auction brought out the finest people.
1 of the Oliver guys here. That 1655 was a solid tractor. Just needs some love
The big jobs were pretty much done on it
I still have a pair of those weights that worked on our 350 and 504 tractors. We had two bottom roll over plows for both those tractors. They were both utility models and the weight of those roll over plows called for more weight.
I was going to say the same thing. 😊
U the man ai t red live it in the shed I like them old super mta grpa had great tractor n had a 5y0 to just small farm in Wisconsin 75 acre they did great keep up the shows
That poor old 986 looks like it’s had a rough life. It’s ironic that you ran into Pete there. I actually had just finished watching his video on the 756 shifter repair then saw this video. Thanks for taking us along. On an additional note. The auctioneer was right! If most of those tractors were out west of Ohio and probably here where we live in Southwest oh, they would have brought higher prices. People are going crazy trying to buy these older tractors and some will pay a premium for them.
Yea true
Pete you are my hero brother. NEAL APOLLO BEACH FLORIDA
Hey, it’s Pete from just a few acres Farm. Very cool.
I was wondering, huh, that sure looks like Pete from 'Just a few acres'. Then, at the 856, that's got to be Pete, the smile gave it away!
Yep
Great coverage of the Auction 👍 always get a bit annoyed at owners not giving their tractors a bit of TLC even when they're getting older which then leads to neglecting routine maintenance 🤔😟 Red Power 💥💪
Great video they had a lot of iron there some good. Little high for me but that's just me. I always look for the good buy.👍
Me too
My two favorite channels collide! Great to Pete and Hillary! Keep up with the Genoisms! They crack me up!
Ahahahahahahaha
Looks to be running good
Another great auction video thanks I have lot of time on 856 wide front just didn't see narrow fronts in my area but I thought it looked pretty good and looked to of been pretty good buy wonder if the narrow front didn't keep the price down. When your on your hunt for a 56 66 86 series tractor make sure it has the 2 piece draw bar you will thank me later be patient I think you will find what you want might have to come to the Midwest but there is still a lot of them around.
I think the price stayed down because of the sheet metal ..bad paint job.. and the torque amplifier was out
Good buy on the MTA!
I enjoyed seeing Pete! You should visit his place and do a joint Video. That would be so cool!
Never know what the future holds
i drove an 856 for over 10 yrs, fine tractor only trouble was when i ran it out of fuel once! if ya find a good one, buy it, ya won't be sorry!
Agree 👍
Pete, i watch his videos.
Looks like a normal farm auction. Nothing wrong with this and good food.
Yep
Great video! Thanks!
I never knew there was a 786 made. That could be a cool collection - 706,756,766,786, or the whole 86 series.
I thought that case 1070 was pretty cheap horsepower.
Thanks for watching!
You should show the John Deere tractors more also its a auction. Interesting to watch. Thanks
One John Deere on the entire lot
Good job on the video I bought farmall m tractor from them good people
This m was a pretty good one
You and Pete are both great guys. You should hook up and do a video.
Eventually
Showed me I need to pay attention more often lol. Saw the video and went back to watch later and you had me confused the new video wasn't on Pete's channel. Then i went a little ways and I'm like, oooooooo. Lol. Another good video FF. Love auctions. 856 with TA out and worn out shifters looks like it got paint slapped on to sell better. Nice looking, but mechanically sound? Anyhow, have a nice night.
Definitely a project tractor that he was wise to turn down
@@FarmallFanatic Definitely
That was Pete he’s a nice guy
Someday I hope there's a collaboration called "Just a few Farmall Fanatics" 🤣
Now that would be a good title
Great deal on the Case 1070 but Lord have mercy on the guy who bought the 740 ford high crop I think those particular tractor numbers our junk in the Ford category the best ford's when it got two the like 2000 3000 4000 and 5000
1456 awd.. the ultimate!!
That 1070 sounded really smooth.
Yes it did
@@FarmallFanatic those Case Diesel Engines are just great Engines and so fuel efficient.
That is true
Just a few acres. I hope you watched him rebuild and restore that farmall this winter.
Of course, it's a Farmall
The 466 was used in the 4WD tractors the 1066 had the 414 in it and the 1466 had the 436 in it
That 986 I bet could tell some stories
No doubt
Surprised to see Pete Lawson from just a few acres farm. Pretty neat.
I never even knew that was his last name l o l
Larson
Pete how much is a completely done brand new with parts, engine paint like you do worth to ship OVERSEAS? I think yours are as close to perfect as you can get Pete. Your equipment is as close to perfect as you can get. You can tell you how what you are doing Pete. How much do they bring on the block. Didnyou look to see how much 1\2 an Acres doing rye cover crop to feed your pigs all winter? This guy was really talking it up brother. Pete. Neal Apollo Beach Florida
Oliver has Massey Harris wheel weights. AL B.
Pete my grandfather and great grandfather were master watchmakers. Great grandfather was general manager at Hamilton watch in Lancaster penn. He left me a mantal Seth Thomas chinne clock than was made in American. How much is it worth. I paid 200 bucks to get it working. My grandfather has a Seth Thomas electric 4'inch salesman sample my buddy put on a new electric wire on it. Didn't start running. Can it be fixed just for history? It's so cool. Just a guest on cost please. Thanks for the idea Pete. Neal Apollo Beach Florida
TA deletes are half the tractors they used to be... no use for those... that 165 diesel would be nice.. I think the 1086 was okay for 13k... needs some love that 986. With the low out on the 856 it brought what it worth a TA will cost 2 k in parts
I don't prefer them even if they are factory delete
Here in the south most of the ih didn't have ta because hired help keep them tear up
That makes sense
Damn, they even painted the key on that 5600
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
The 1655 and the 165 brought all their worth. That stuff from the 60's and 70's are really showing their age. You can see how cautious people are. Looks like the bidding cash is starting to dry up.
Thats about the dumbest statement Ive heard all day... Massey ferguson 165 is an excellent tractor... handy tractor around the farm 1655 Oliver may be a bit underpowered but they still run good
I always figure Gino, that one that exhaust cap will stay open like that and not sit there and smack the top of the muffler, that the valves are pretty well-adjusted on an engine like that.
Yeah that makes total sense
In Search of
Red Power 💪🏼❤️💥
always
Ill be honest with you this auction was more of a clearance auction just people trying to get some cash of unused tractors and equipment. Keep an eye out for this summer. Not sure if evan is gonna toss his 1256 he bought up for auction or not this year but he may
There was something there for everyone to be honest... Very rare to see fully restored tractors at auction
Wow Pete these brought some good money. I wish I could find a really good mechanic to go through my 1969 AMC AMX NEEDS SOME ELECTRICAL, HAS ALL THE PARTS, GLASS, TRIM, INTERIOR, A/C R12 RUNNING FOUND A CASE OF NEW OLD STOCK REDONE, RUNS GREAT. I NEED A MECHANIC TO NEEDS TO MAKE SOME MONEY. THEY ARE SO LAZY PETE. WE'LL SEE. NEW HEADERS OR OR SIDE PIPE S BROTHER. WE'LL SEE. NEAL APOLLO BEACH FLORIDA
Yeah you're a long ways away
Pete needs the 856 has the 756
Pete looking for old deals 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍👍👍
😁
856 and 786 both good buys. Your base hp on DT466 is 180 hp so it that 986 was that or more.
Yup
@@FarmallFanatic most people dont look at it this way but that rough old 986 probably would have been a decent tractor because it definitely was a chore tractor so it probably had to run and work everyday most likely why it had DT466 put in that's a cheap replacement instead of rebuilding original engine plus al.ost double hp.
@@williamspates1015 Yeah but at the same time you grab it and it needs everything no. I guess for that price you roll a dice
@@FarmallFanatic yeah very true
Wish I seen you there I would've said hi to you
Did you see Pete?
@@FarmallFanatic yes I did for a minute boss was talking to him
Those old John Deere snowblowers were built by Murray and painted JD. You had to carry a box with you to put all the pieces in as they fell off. My JD dealer told me he almost lost his shirt selling that junk
Not surprised
@@FarmallFanatic 0k
Pete liked the front end “you can fit more in the barn” but it had too nice of paint. He needs something in worse shape to tinker on for tractor pulls 🤔 needs a weekend off the farm once in a while.
Actually the paint on that thing wasn't very nice at all and that was part of the problem... Pretty worn out machine
Just a few acres.
I always thought the you and Pete should get together and make a video
Eventually
Our 706 was that one’s twin
Decent machines once they're started lol
@@FarmallFanatic I remember all the cans of ether
Big handle suitcase weights were for an 88 series
I've always wondered
@@FarmallFanatic The 88 series weights have the flat bottom and weigh about 110lb
On a 1086 ,when your sitting in the seat can you see the hitch when you turn around and look down?I'm 6 feet tall and I believe you have to lean back and your head touches the glass to properly see the hitch, yes or no? Isn't the fuel tank located up behind the cab on this model?
Yes to both
Stomil tires are prone to inside sidewall splits and pinched tube flats
So in other words they're cheap l o l
Good day FF The ford might be rare, I don't know how popular, Richard missed the 6 cyl 8n last sale .
So what did M sell for? When looking at M spark plugs wire should have look at hour meter
So ta was gone on 856.
Thanks
I honestly don't remember what the M sold for it's all in the video though
I bet Pete is wishing he'd have waited on that 756 watching that 856 go for 5600
Small world at the auction.
Definitely
I been looking for some cheek weights for my Farmall 400 and for 100 bucks that seemed dirt cheap?
I don't think these were for a 400
Looks like 300U weights
Are those blue ford's supposed to be ALL blue like that? Looks like someone just painted the entire thing together without taping off anything at all. Even the shift boot was blue.
So was the key.
@@Joey966 lol didn't even take the key out of the ignition. Looks like a nice smooth paint job too. Couldve been so much better looking with a little more labor.
I could see you and Pete making a video together on some project
Definitely
Those cheek weights not but I think 30 series cases
That could very well be
Are u going to Dennis kerr sale coming up
Good possibility
I know Pete is kicking himself for not buying that 856.
We looked it over pretty good.. it was an easy pass for me.. I think him as well
This is why I don't go to auctions, all that jabber that you can't understand. Half the people there don't know what the bid is .
99.9% of the people there aren't even there to bid... that's part of the problem
Well. If u don’t know I’m not telling ya 😊
😄
I know you hate plastic governing the cover crop to feed their stock. Put grindage with corn grinding up. I bet they have that feed for cows and horses? Neal Apollo Beach Florida
Yeah most likely
he aint kidding in ohio a 1086 would sell that high, watched one sell for 20k not long ago in ok shape
Wow that 1586 price
@@FarmallFanatic anything over 100hp gets high dollar here for hay operations
Man, I did almost think Pete was going to grab that 856, but he has no use for it on his farm. That's why I didn't buy it.
Oh there's always a use for tractor lol
The blue paint brought more then I thought it would
Yeah took me by surprise
@Farmall Fanatic you know me, I'm all about the blue. But I don't think even I would have bought that 5600, it was a smidgen too sloppily done for myliking
Did Pete buy it
Was thinking the same
Doesn't look like it, but who knows. Didn't know he was in the market for another one.
Nope. The auctioneer pointed his finger at the person "sold" standing next to the truck.
Ok thanks
Nope
120 lbs each in the cheek weights but that 120 lbs guy was just holding like a baby?
Well they definitely were not under a hundred pounds that I assure you
@@FarmallFanatic that boy was tough then. "I was lean and solid everywhere... like a rock"

No doubt
That 1086 will go for 15,500
Yeah I think it went for about thirteen or so
i would of bought the 786 for that. i have a 786 the TA is out i have 2 guys who want it for $8000
