This song came out when I was a teenager (yes, I'm that old). I'm a huge Sims3 fan and a huge fan of this song. YOu did a truly wonderful job...way to go!!! I feel like somebody just gave me a present.
ONLY if a good director revived it. . . Because an awful lot of directors would ruin it with all kinds of retconning. Twilight Zone needs the right people to make it work.
Oh, you poor deprived thing! To not know what Sims is...oh my! Seriously though, sims is a simulation game where you make a person or family and live their lives. You get them a house to live in, get them jobs, advance their careers and skills, and so forth. There are a lot of Expansion Packs and Stuff Packs to enhance the game. It really is a lot of fun to play, and I'm hopelessly addicted. If you would like to see how it works, feel free to stop by my channel, as I make Let's Plays, which are gameplay series and commentaries. Be forewarned though. Once you start playing, it's hard to stop. :)
I really do love this video. Have always loved the song although it creeps me out a bit. :) Your video was amazing, and I love your Angie Baby Sim. She's a great likeness for how I picture her looking. Wonderful job. :)
I always love coming back from time to time to look at this video. It was absolutely amazing and so well done. It's a great song to put to a video and tells a great story. Awesome!
I originally thought this song would be a perfect plot for a horror movie about a strange girl and a bewitched radio. The plot for my movie: Even though it's a reference to the second verse, the first scene would probably be Angie in her room, listening to her radio, and dancing with someone. Then they would show her daddy outside her room tapping on her door, entering the room, and asking if she's alright, and telling her to go to bed. But he, and Angie would be the only people in the room. The person she was dancing with would be gone. (And you might hear a little scary music, which would make you a little suspicious that something weird was going on.) Lovers appear in your room each night And they whirl you across the floor But they always seem to fade away When your daddy taps on your door Angie girl, are you alright? Tell the radio goodnight All alone once more, Angie baby The next scene would be a reference to the first verse. (Angie's parents talking about how she can't go to school, and make friends.) You live your life in the songs you hear On the rock n' roll radio And when a young girl doesn't have any friends That's a really nice place to go Folks hoping you'd turn out cool But they had to take you out of school You're a little touched, you know, Angie baby The next scene would be about the evil boy entering the room, intending to hurt Angie. Stopping at her house is a neighbor boy With evil on his mind 'Cause he's been peeking in Angie's room At the night through her window blind I see your folks have gone away Would you dance with me today? I'll show you how to have a good time, Angie baby Then they would show the radio with a strange glow, and then the boy would suddenly become a victim of the radio. (You would think he was the first victim. And that's when you would know it's a horror movie.) When he walks in her room he feels confused Like he walked into a play And the music's so loud it spins him around 'Til his soul has lost its way And as she turns the volume down He's getting smaller with the sound It seems to pull him off the ground Toward the radio he's bound Never to be found disappearance, and wondering what happened to him, not knowing about the radio, and what it did. The headlines read that a boy disappeared And everyone thinks he died After that, more and more people would enter Angie's room, and become victims of the radio. (And, like I said, somehow, everyone except for her family would become victims.) Then eventually her daddy would see someone enter Angie's room. Then he would enter the room, just in time to witness the person becoming a victim. (I could be wrong, but I think this would happen more than once, because he would eventually know the radio was what caused the people's disappearances, and he would warn people not to enter Angie's room. He would tell them that she's crazy. ("It's so nice to be insane") He would tell them, that she has a radio, and that she somehow gave it the power to cause people to disappear. I don't know what would happen after he warned everyone, but the movie would end with him somehow destroying the radio, and everything would be the way it was before Angie got the radio. (a happy ending of a horror movie) I think you took my idea and shortened it.
grew up with the original cartoon, weird but i like it besides that's how they animated back then. this version is next level and to have been made using windows movie maker
The father looks somewhat like the man who wrote "Angie Baby", Alan O'Day. RIP Helen Reddy. Please listen to our version on my channel, and subscribe today!

This story song would make a good Twilight Zone episode if they ever decide to revive that show again!!!
There WAS an episode VERY similar that had Gary Crosby playing a singer that is ultimately murdered by a crazy bitch .
Come wander with me was the episode if I remember correctly

Thanks a lot, Beck... Took me 40 years to get past this song that scared me to death at age TEN.
Oh well, Back to therapy. GREAT VIDEO, seriously
Helen has passed away. So sad. I love this song.
This is just perfect. It tells Angie's story well. Thanks! 📻💘
Best video ever! You totally nailed Angie being a "special lady!" The radio part is excellent as well!
Ok, it just doesn't get any better than this. Someone needed to make this video, good job!
Great job! Captured it very well.
I'll admit I don't know what Sims is....but your video of Angie Baby is Outstanding!

Nice work! You conjured up a pretty hot Angie. Just the way I would picture her--gorgeous but "touched."

This is actually pretty awesome. Fits the song well. Nice job!

Beck, I love this song I haven't heard this one in a long time. You did a great job following the story in the song.
Yes very good song
Wow. Yes. I love this. Honestly, like someone said before. This would make a great short in some horror compilation.
Nice work! Depicts the story just right!
Very good video. You did very well! I like the song too, never heard it before.
Angie is friends with Carrie
Amazing job!
gotta say very cool and creative
It needed something creepy to happen at the end... like video though. Fav song from Angie!
I like this cartoon better than the other version.

Agree - as "primitive" as that original animation was it also had a more eerie/creepy look about it to match the songs imagery
Well done!
Trippy

Brilliant video. I loved the movements you put into the characters' bodies. Was this tricky/time-consuming to do?
Good stuff. :)
Love it,
I like your video
Bravo!
❤❤
I think it's a good video, but the ending kind of misses the ending of the song.
how so? not trying to be difficult, just curious because I have always found the lyrics intriguing, and somewhat ambiguous.
Goofy video.
