    The place where the tea is steaming, the biryani is gleaming, and the spices are teaming! It’s like Willy Wonka's factory of tantalizing tastes, where every bite sends your taste buds on a thrilling rollercoaster ride! As someone who visited this place to be featured for our show, I find this place so unique!

    300rupee is just 3pounds here in UK currency.. and in UK people don’t even get a coffee for that price … so the price foreigners pay is pretty much still very little .. so foreigners shouldn’t be complaining… for eg a visit to Buckingham palace photo gallery in London is £32+. .. so I definitely wouldn’t sympathise with the foreigners crying being charged 10times the Indian tickets

    Wrt to the overcharging at tourist places, as most have already pointed out , foreigners pay unsubsidized Prices… just like how U.K. does in universities for foreign students (foreign students often end up paying much more @dabbleandtravel

    Love your videos! About “we had to pay 10x which was pretty annoying” for a 2.91 GBP ticket - that’s because of purchasing power parity. Now before someone jumps in and says “then it should be different for different nationalities” - India gets most tourists from countries for which that PPP factor makes sense (also makes accounting simpler). Have a great trip!

    • @dabbleandtravel
      @dabbleandtravel  11 місяців тому

      @ashishanant5504 11 місяців тому

      @@dabbleandtravel “don’t charge you extra for visiting sites” - cause that suits the economy of the country. Could be 10x lower PPP wise 😊 Forget visiting London, most of the people you interact with in the video can’t really afford to visit outside of their city/town for tourism purposes (and wait till you find out the visa charges). I don’t mean to spark this argument though, your frustration due to difference in prices is understandable and I hope seeing it from the perspective of PPP could help alleviate some of that.

    India, as the most densely populated country globally, often presents crowded and chaotic conditions at many tourist spots. Visitors, particularly those of non-Indian descent, might experience constant stares and requests for selfies due to the novelty of encountering individuals from different ethnic backgrounds. There's a tendency for overcharging, assuming foreigners might not be familiar with local pricing, and some instances may involve encounters with impoverished individuals striving to support their families and provide education for their children. I guess I have heard "Chaos" a lot of times in all your videos. So yeah my country is chaotic 😊 peace out guys ✌️

    Golkonda Fort was built by Kakatiya King Pratapa Rudra, and it's built in that way cuz, the samantha(small kings under his empire) were going against him, also many thieves were also trying to kill king. BEFORE SAYING THE GOLKONDA IS NTG SPECTACULAR, YOU SHD REALLY KNOW THE HISTORY OF THE PLACE,DESIGN AND DEFENCE SINCE ITS A FORT. THAT'S WHY MOSTLY FOREIGNERS PREFER HAVING A GUIDE TO KNOW MORE ABT THEM. The fort built as an impregnable structure and has 7 walls to protect it, the acoustics is designed in a way where queen doesn't need to be near the musicians, the structure is designed to reflect the echos in a well calculated precision, The fort has gaps at top to pour down the oil and lit fire at the time of attack and etc. theres are only few but there are a lot spectacular facts abt the place. IDK wt ppl like u expect a fort to be, may be a beautiful decorated building????

    Why differential charging?
    Consider this. Per-Capita Income of Indian = $8,379 Vs. Per-Capita Income of Brit = $54,603. If the Entrance Fee for all Monuments/Tourist-spots around the world were standardized & fixed by UNESCO, would it be fair? No. The Brit could pay easily whereas the Indian couldn't. Indian would need subsidy.
    Compare this. The Entrance Fee for Foreigner at Indian Monuments: Golconda Fort $3.6, Vittala Temple-Hampi $6, Taj Mahal $12.5, etc. The Entrance Fee (for everybody) at British Monuments: Stonehenge $23.6, Edinburgh Castle $24, Roman Baths $22, etc. Still think Indian Monuments are expensive?
    Not sure if my answer satisfies you but hopefully you'll appreciate that India is a budget-friendly country for Foreigners even with the differential pricing. If entry fee for Monuments is increased (as they should), most Indians would be able to enjoy them. Fixing same fee for both Indian and Foreigner would mean subsidizing for Foreigner which doesn't make sense kinda.
