300rupee is just 3pounds here in UK currency.. and in UK people don’t even get a coffee for that price … so the price foreigners pay is pretty much still very little .. so foreigners shouldn’t be complaining… for eg a visit to Buckingham palace photo gallery in London is £32+. .. so I definitely wouldn’t sympathise with the foreigners crying being charged 10times the Indian tickets

The forigner ticket is the actual price of the ticket.. We citizen get subsidy from Govt. Ministry of Tourism ... Students get more subsidised price than General Indian citizens...
first check the prices in their countries then compare the prices with india i think indian GOVT did right thing to keep an different fare for local and foreigner i think govt should also keep some free guide for tourist who speak fluent English' who can explain them the cultural and history more nicely of the place and state and also must charge more high price from foreigner but with right facilities .
The govt subsidizes Indian citizens to visit these ASI sites.. foreign citizens are not subsidized and must pay full price. I wish it was done in a subtle way without offending the foreign tourists.

Golkonda Fort was built by Kakatiya King Pratapa Rudra, and it's built in that way cuz, the samantha(small kings under his empire) were going against him, also many thieves were also trying to kill king. So they built it in a way only people living in the Kingdom are aware of this, actually you can visit their capital Warangal fort too

The fort built as an impregnable structure and has 7 walls to protect it, the acoustics is designed in a way where queen doesn't need to be near the musicians, the structure is designed to reflect the echos in a well calculated precision, The fort has gaps at top to pour down the oil and lit fire at the time of attack and etc. theres are only few but there are a lot spectacular facts abt the place. IDK wt ppl like u expect a fort to be, may be a beautiful decorated building????

I’m sure there have been plenty of changes - I remember visiting Charminar and Mecca mosque - I wasn’t there as a tourist so I missed out on a lot of the things you might do as a tourist but I remember the food was incredibly spicy!! I hope you had the biryani!
In 1985 I was on a ship we went to Bombay , Titti Corin , Madras, & Visakhapatnam, it was 12 rupees to the pound then but you could get 25 on the black Market.
