Mike Manila covers? I love them. I don’t have the FF annual but do remember those really bad (but nostalgic) cartoons from the late 60s? I remember the FF wedding. There were some panels where Daredevil took a semi truck full of fuel or something and ran it into the invasion force from Atlantis and blew them back into the water. I could be wrong. But I think that is in the comic.
