Back in 1998 when I was 13, and living in Chicago, I went to this woman's house to get my hair braided for school. It was on a Sunday and she was cooking, and I mean she was hooking it up with some fried chicken, Mac and cheese, biscuits and gravy. She asked me if I was hungry, and she went to the cabinets for plates, for her and her kids, and when she opened the cabinets, I was mortified😱😱😱 It looked like the inside of the cabinets were moving, as there were big juicy cockroaches bunched up and crawling all over each other. I didn't eat anything. I went home. I was grossed out. The last thing I wanted, was to pick up a chicken leg, only to discover a roach on it waving it's antennas at me as if to say Bon Appétit. No thanks. I'm good.

i was bit by something as i was going through my markers i left in my compluslive dad’s car and roaches came out and now i was bit by something and i think it was the roaches, should i be scared?
The couple in such a house didn't notice? I'd get rid of that dark granite countertop. I would want to see anything crawling around while I am making my sandwich.
I never judge anyone but people have different standards of living. In this case, it was an elderly couple that had some pretty serious medical issues that allowed the house to get away from them with cleanliness and pests.
