Hearing anyone else give the interview makes you realize how irreplaceable Aaron is on this podcast. His preparedness and thoughtfulness in asking just perfect questions to the traders and really getting to what we listeners are thinking and wondering.. the soothing radio voice and Aussie accent.. and always having the respect and admiration of both the traders he interviews as well as the listeners, for being the creator of this so cherished resource in the trading community. Proud of him for finding his own success in trading but will definitely miss the classic Aaron Fifield CWT episodes
I was a subscriber with John Carter following only his trades. He started having problems with his trading in 2021. And would gaslight us into thinking that he was making money. I remember tracking his trades and making a comment in chat that they were all losers. Shortly after that he said on video that his account has "plateaued" still not admitting that he was losing. I laughed my ass off and realized I was dealing with a liar
real talk Tessa needs to get a nicer mic :( if she gets the same one as Aaron that'd sync and make the quality of the calls 100% better! :D cheers thanks guys
I discovered John on episode 69 (what a number 😁) and this is when I got in the stock market and got smack around like a ping pong ball, after hearing it takes John 8 years and how he threw up in the dumpster before closing on his house, I gave me SO MUCH strengths to keep going and ever since all I trade is options, YOU MY HERO JOHN THANKS!
Hi Aaron, I love the idea of you getting a co-host since this business of yours is long term. Tessa is doing well and I know she can do better, everyone’s first always gets nervous I can tell. Keep going tessa ❤️ Get the same mic as Aaron or just tone up ur voice a bit go alpha girl☺️
Thanks for the great interview. I trade options as well and of course deal with losing trades and trying to decide, is my hypothesis still valid. It's THE most challenging obstacle I face. I've started speaking out loud to myself when this happens, as I trade alone. It's working. And I agree with John, when you do cut the losers, man, I feel so much better! Looking forward to trading 6 figure trades and turning them into $5Mil!!! One day one day! Thank you Aaron and Tessa!
We want longer form with better questions. Strategy specifics? How did he pick strike and exp? What were his drawdowns and why? no one cares about his zebra
You are so fortunate that you have access to traders like John Carter, but I wish you understood trading a bit more so you could ask more beneficial questions such as what else he is looking for when entering a trade. It was him that brought up ATR. For example he discussed using 3 ATR for his Keltner channels. There are so many follow up questions that could have been asked rather than what are tangible assets?. Are you serious?
not a swing trader, but I feel like how he held onto (and added to) that losing position that eventually turned into a winner is a terrible example and shouldn't have been shared at all. Sure, it's great that it worked big in this case but most of the time it will not, and trades like that can turn into very big losses very quickly (he even mentioned, it was 25%+ of his own account.. on one trade..)
Definitely not approved by the Kelly criterion or any risk management protocol I’ve heard of. I have heard that being aggressive occasionally in your trading career is necessary to outperform.
He said he allocated 25-30% of the account but is misleading because he does not say what the actual max loss scenario was. Like he may have used 25-30% of buying power but there's no way he legit is risking a 25-30% of his capital on any one trade.
Great episode, and I don't mind a co-host. But something bothers me. We can all use a different tone in our voice, like if I work in a restaurant I use my "service voice", which is calm and more lightly toned, but I sound like a doofus if I would speak like that on a regular basis. Anyhow I know Tessa is new, and she's finding her place in the podcast. And I think Tessa should be herself, but less service, less "feminine" and more laid back sort of, if you get my point. More of a conversation and less like talking to a 5 year old. Keep it up! (And this is just my opinion, doesn't mean it's right.)
Dude she’s a woman. She can & should sound feminine. Maybe more lively or energetic could help. However in a male dominated field it’s refreshing to have a woman & feminine energy. Glad she has joined & she can stay just how she is too. Deal with it guys!
How much does he risk to make 1-5 million? Am I missing something? Risking 25% if Google gaps down over night he’s toast. I’m sure their are some traders that loses everything. John is the one that came out alive betting 25% with over night holds. So of course you look like a champion. Not say he’s not a good trader. Just wondering if there are 1000 of traders betting like this how many come out alive?
I’m not sure if any pro would listen to this. But for beginners, his trading method is absolutely a disaster. The more aggressive the more you are going to kill your account faster. Beginners don’t even know to crawl how do you expect them to fly?
im not denying the fact that he is great trader, when he is making 5 million a trade, that means he is also losing in millions. I would like to know his losing trades, how spectacular are those.
Not a big fan of the change but, i wouldnt like if they changed the intro music either ... we get used to trademarks; music, labels and even voice. Im sure she will do great as she settles in.

Love hearing John take these big risks and know that he has fear and a rush at the same time. I’m taking notes and going even harder. Thanks John!
Great interview with lots of gems. Not sure why you need a co-host.
John is great. Awesome to see local Wimberley, TX traders sharing such success.

Appreciate the constructive feedback.
Aaron! What an absolutely sweet voice you have

Aggressive swing trading. Heck yeah
Third time listening. So many good one liners.
New concept is really nice Aaron
i have no clue on off setting the put and calls can someone break it down for a 10 yr old
We want longer form with better questions. Strategy specifics? How did he pick strike and exp? What were his drawdowns and why? no one cares about his zebra
RIGHT! This whole cohost approach is pretty terrible
His zebra provides his edge though
Awesome.. thank you and all the best to you and yours.
Always waiting
Another GREAT podcast...good going Aaron👍

Very good interview.
For real the intro music is Fiya!!!!!
Great podcast
Excellent podcast, thanks for sharing
Is Aaron going to be a guest soon?
legend
I have been listening to the podcast for more than a year. The worst decision is made to have a co-host with Aron.
All the Pros have a co-host.
Tessa's voice melts me ❤️ 😁
Could you please do a podcast on forex
yooo why does the beat in the intro actually go so hard?? What is the instrumental
Thats so weird man. I just watched his old podcast over and over last night

Good stuff!
Amazing ideas!
can u also ask him about his losing trades?
Which broker was John using?
Ive heard him say in other videos he uses Tradestation.
25% per trade. He's 4 trades away from blowing up? Did I misunderstand that?
when did he said that..?
He said 25-30%. ONLY when he’s being Aggressive. Averaging in with option spread positions.

Great video & welcome Tessa! Great to have a woman in a male dominated industry!
awesomeeeeeeeeeeeee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn, betting I presume close to a full Kelly...

Too picky and probably cannot settle down on a trading method as there are no perfect ones 🤔
I thought it was a TTS voice ahahahah I don't know her so..
Dude she’s a woman. She can & should sound feminine. Maybe more lively or energetic could help. However in a male dominated field it’s refreshing to have a woman & feminine energy. Glad she has joined & she can stay just how she is too. Deal with it guys!
Is Tessa gone already?
next time when you get him on ask him about his losing trades
How much does he risk to make 1-5 million?

ep 69 & 420 oops 240
so he turned 100k$ to 5.1M $ on this google trade?
im not denying the fact that he is great trader, when he is making 5 million a trade, that means he is also losing in millions. I would like to know his losing trades, how spectacular are those.
respectfully, please fire cohost
15 wing butterflies lol
😄 ᴘʀᴏᴍᴏsᴍ
Your co-host has a voice that is too sexy. It’s distracting. Can she tone it down?
What a wonderful problem.
Her intro 🥵
💯💯
Don't like the girl voice, Aaron please don't leave the podcast!!!!
Give her a chance, please
Not a big fan of the change but, i wouldnt like if they changed the intro music either ... we get used to trademarks; music, labels and even voice. Im sure she will do great as she settles in.
I m sure you are from india
Love her voice. Anyone who doesn't like the sound of a woman's voice for no reason other than the sound is suspect.
What's more important is if she asks the right questions ! Aaron was great at that
This is just a brag.
I didn't like the cohost. Two unmatching interview styles.
