TBS Tango 2 mod - How to change TBS Tango 2 welcome Sound ?

IN this video I will show How to change TBS Tango 2 welcome Sound, this is very simple TBS tango 2 mod. You can set any sound you like, movie dialogue, customer jarvis, robot style anything.
The sound you change has to be in WAV format so tango 2 can play when i switch on.

Thx for the tip. The audio and file naming can be simpler. You don't need to import the original into audacity. Just copy paste the name into audacity before exporting. It'll save you a step.

So i found out why it was not working for me. You can make it a seperate file without editing the original. you have look for the follwing: if it's stereo, convert it to mono in the Track menu in audacity. it has to be on a 32000 hz rate, you can check that on the very bottom left of the window. then save it as wav with the encoding signed 16-bit PCM and your done.

yeah need to change stereo to mono, and dont change hz rate, it will make the sound worse poor quality

you need to fix your radio.bin.... having the wrong one on your sd card is causing that calibration screen to pop up all the time. will cause a failsafe too.... ask me how i know..

Check the memory card, the memory card came with tango is not good quality. Mine got corrupted with in a day had to replace with sandisk 16gb

May be you can check first is it gone bad or not, there is a tbs link for card content zip on website. You can sure take backup

Try to edit existing file rather replacing it

Great video. but for some reason my sounds are played at half the speed. it sound really creepy. what did i do wrong? i copied the file as a backup, then opend the original in audacity, muted the line, inserted my audio, exported directly to the tango 2 as WAV singned 16-bit PCM and overwrite the original. that's the right way is it?

Ok, so the track I had imported was stereo. I turned it to mono and it works. No my Tango says "I'm a pickle! I'm Pickle Riiiiick"
