Also just a side note I started this game as a dps player on hitscan heroes. I switched to tank when I was on a team with Dafran and Sinatraa because well they are dafran and sinatraa haha. Have been in love with the tank role ever since. Hope you guys are having amazing days/nights wherever you are from!
I like how in lower elo no one recognizes anyone meanwhile whenever you’re in top 500 everyone starts acting like you guys known each other since high school

Console OW, everyone knows most of each other around their elos for the most part. I'm not sure how it is on PC tho. I'm also pretty sure late night OW and day time OW run their own metas. You play long enough you'll start knowing lots of people. I've had people message me after games telling me things like "I run in to you all the time on my smurfs." lol. Honestly I can generally tell when I'm playing against someone and the way their interacting feels personal even if I don't recognize them. lol, I've ran into friends who've told me that when they run in to me their team generally knows me and what I play. I kept running in to the same guy a lot, I started calling them my rival, we became friends. But I was playing a match and this sombra solo ult'd me, checked their name. Yep. it was them. lol, It's cool, but also mad annoying.
Eh he can get worked up and be pretty toxic sometimes. You probably only see that side of him when you actually play with/against him though. Overall a decent dude, I can get worked up and be toxic too. But he definitely has that side to him.

When you're a competitive person playing at the highest (casual) level, you're going to be passionate at some stage. I guess toxic has amalgamated to mean when someone says *anything* non-positive, but toxic to me is like xQc a couple of years back screaming at a Mercy for being early with a Rez (old Mercy) calling them trash and smashing his desk.
Emongg's probably the nicest guy ever, not reacting to idiot trash talkers and always staying positive and not blaming others. You inspire all of us, Emongg.
It's amazing how the people in those games act like the experience you have on tanks isn't transient to other characters who are usually easier to play than tanks.
It is pretty admirable. Blowing up is what someone like lllll wants. Notice when emongg revealed who he really was and just systematically took him apart and laid the pieces bare that "dspstanky" just fell apart into incoherent mumbling. Sums it all up.

This might sound rough but I think everyone should be bullied to a degree, I was bullied back in 4-5 and I remember coming back crying everyday but I feel like it shaped me as a better person and also prepared me to play competitive games but I know soon enough you will hopefully recover

Honestly, in a game like overwatch. Once you get shit talked enough, you get used to it become numb to them. They are honestly pathetic. I don't get being toxic in games. Even though I could, I try not to unless they flame me first.
I only flame them up when they deserve it for example people practicing hero’s such as tracer or genji in comps, a mega low ranked mercy player that somehow got into our game, wintraders etc
Roger Zheng nah I’m in diamond and I occasionally get super unlucky and get a gold player q-ing with a friend or more often than not wintraders or people flat out practicing hero’s they have 0 hours on. Kinda sad actually, just tryna rank up and stupid shit like this are in the game. Makes ranking up feel super fucking slow as you lose almost as many times as you win.

Yeah it’s easy for tank players (especially off tanks) to pick dps, but is really hard for dps players to pick tank
well it depends on the character. Reaper is transferable since emongg plays hog.
