I am learning so much. Thank you for your videos. And thank you for helping out the environment. I usually take a small bag and pick up trash when I can as well.
Out there, a lot of the garbage is old so little efforts like you describe are valuable. Right on. The river is fun to fish out there but there is a lot of trash as it is downstream from the urban areas. This was just a stab at bringing awareness to the situation. Like many others, I typically grab a grocery size bag or two of trash on the way out. Every little bit counts. Thanks for checking out the clip.
I had to get it picked up. I saw it last time and missed a slam dunk to get it out of there. Luckily, the same guy drove by and we got it done. Nice fish too! That bridge has a great stretch of water under it, you just have to hike over 2 miles to reach it!
I was so worried I was going to lose that fish! Little stuff like what we do won't change everything but it at least makes the experience better for the next few people to go out out to enjoy themselves in an area you grabbed that trash from. It all adds up. I also hope to catch people who are new to fishing and a few kids with this message before they start the habit of leaving trash. Thanks for checking out the clip.,

That fish was battling! The water is really deep there so it was out of sight for most of the fight. At the very least, I wanted to see how big it was before it possibly got off. That stretch around the bridge is really deep and probably has some real nice fish in it if you put your time in. You just have to hike a couple of miles to fish it!
The good thing is, that trash looked like it was deposited there the last time the river hit flood levels following a major snow year. It was all really old looking so now that it's gone, I don't expect more to show up until the water get's really high again. That bridge is a couple of miles of hiking to reach it so a lot of people aren't hanging out there. Every little bit we all do counts!
