Eric get a front wheel rack. Lock front wheel in place. Holds bike stable. Bolts to floor. Enjoy riding.
Harbor Frieght's holds up well.
@@larryvincent1083 It really does, I agree
🤔 Wasn't it you, Eric, that just recently commented to another vehicle "you're not cool, you're just loud".?
Yeah, the irony huh? Just so he can look "cool" and "badder". LOL. I smh at the dumb purchases this guy makes. The super annoying loud Harley should go over well with other campers at the campgrounds he stays at. I'm sure the frightened kitties every time he starts that stupid annoying thing up the kitties will just love it also. Not like Tara isn't scared enough already as it is.
Ha, Ha, I remember how much he hated Harleys and how loud they were.......how quickly he became a Harley fan boy....multiple Harley tattoos and hundreds of T-Shirts..... anything to fit in 😂😅
Congrats Eric… Word of caution: Don’t get overconfident early into the Harley experience - Your `muscle memory’ is programmed for a much lighter bike. Maneuvers that you’re `unconsciously’ accustomed to (especially at slow speed) will lay it down; and those can be unlikely, but hurtful and costly snafus!! 🙀
Great advice.
those gear changes were very much Honda Rebel muscle memory
HE said he already went 112 mph so not good.
And watch for gravel and front brake this I know...
@@JW-2001 Hits a pot hole and he's done
I wouldn't be going 112 MPH with a plastic bucket on my head. Get a full-faced helmet.
And there’s a good reason why experienced riders wear leathers. You might want to try ‘em.
Do y’all mind if a say a little story about Kansas City Harley Davidson?…
Well, I’ve been riding motorcycles since the 1970’s and I went with Harley Davidson in 1981. I made it my goal to ride ten thousand miles a year in my spare time and in 1995 I bought my first Harley Touring Bike. Now I’m from south Mississippi so when I went for rides I only had 3 choices, East / West / North. In ‘95 I took of north on my new “bagger” and within 200 miles the latches broke on the tourpack (big ugly thing the passenger leans against but holds more then any women’s purse). Two days later I was at Kansas City Harley Davidson store (now this was the ole store with wooden floors) and someone said something about the bungees straps I had holding the tourpack lid down because of the broken latches.. 5 minutes later a Kansas City Harley Davidson mechanic was out there replacing the latches at no charge!! Things like that is Unforgetful~
Dude you need a toy hauler rv now. Much easier to transport that harley and keep tater hooked. Less hassle at least
I agree! Get rid of Miranda while everything is working and before something else breaks!
And about $300,000 to start LOL
NAH they take up half the Rv.
I'm not sure if I agree with this decision. I sold my 3 Harleys so I can enjoy the RV life. A Harley is similar to owning a boat. It's a big expense. I loved my Harleys but eliminating that debt makes for a happier RV life.
Watching your channel is like stepping into the mind of a crazy person. You're constantly switching directions, changing your mind, making impulsive decisions. It's exhausting.
Exactly. The reason it's so much better turning into watch more normal stable UA-camr guys like Slim Potatohead & Foresty Forest.
Eric, I put a wireless license plate camera w/infrared night vision inside my toy hauler to keep an eye on my Harley as we go down the road. It works perfectly well. Still check straps on stops but so much more peace of mind.
When I was RV'er, i always hated noisy Motorcyclists in Campgrounds. Most were total assholes. Roaring around, stooging, spinning tires, ripping up the grass, doing donuts. Campground residents generally like serenity. You're gonna be thrown out of many campgrounds.
@@vickenator How long does it take to disturb everyone elses' peace and serenity? For him to be one who loves to camp next to peaceful waters he's surely being conceited and inconsiderate of others.
Eric, my crazy kitty kept gettingva serious eye infections, after 6 trips to the vet, we finnaly saw him scratching a board in out basement that had fiberglass insulation behind it. He was acually getting fiberglass in his eye, silly boy. Fixed the area so he couldn't get to and it all cleared up. Gotta keep you eyes on them boys. So glad Jax is doing better.
Relieved that Jax is improving every day! Congrats on the Harley. It's a beautiful bike.
Great investment - CONGRATS! So very happy with your news on JAX. We'll keep on rooting for JAX's complete recovery. thumbs up as always.
As retired law enforcement, stop showing and telling everyone what you have for security and how it works.
Daily 6 pack & cases of Budweiser doesn't go with logic.
He does not show everything. He keeps some things like extra security off-camera.
Congratulations! Yes, listen to all the precautions, but in the end the joy of riding is why you ride. So glad Jax is on the mend.🐈
Why?
Take just 1 ride without the windshield and you’ll never take it off again lol
So true!
I really hope Jax gets completely well again, and gets many more years to go .... ♥♥♥🐾🐾
Cool Harley. Much more importantly, it’s so good to see Jax doing better. Thanks for the update on our boy.
Eric, if you find the bike to be a little too heavy when lifting it up, turn your bars to the right before lifting the bike. It will change the center of gravity, and make it easier to lift
The goal is not to ever lay it down so you don't have to lift it. LOL
@@carolinefreeebyrdacw13ly Lol. I meant to lift it off the kickstand when starting her up. But you do have a good point!!! Lol
@@scottzalduondo1471 gottcha LOL
@@scottzalduondo1471 good advice 👍
@@cookiedoe499 Thanks. I used to sell Harleys, and I would use that trick for my shorter riders who wanted larger bikes
Hey be careful with the gasoline inside of the trailer you may have a fumes issue so just make sure it’s vented enough to where those fumes can escape
Congratz Brother BE CAREFUL PUTTING THE BIKE AWAY HOT. My Buddy lost his bike that way.
So happy for you and Jax. That is a BAD ASS, MAN'S Motorcycle. Please do not wear Disney or Star Wars clothing when you ride it.
You are all over the place kinda hard to keep up with all the changes lol! Glad you are having fun man .
Congrats! When you shared the rebel 250 I was surprised what a good deal it was. I then started looking at motorcycles non-stop (obsessed) and then purchased Vulcan 900 and now, moved onto Harley Davidson Road King, 2021. Yes, that video of yours got me back into riding and now started my own UA-cam Channel. It has been fun and appreciate you sharing and also want to share the impact you are making on others. Take care and stays safe Eric!
That's a beautiful bike. Please be careful (in my best mom voice). Good to see Jax feeling better.
ok... who wants in on the "how long until Eric gets scared by how big this hog is and sells it" betting pool?
I’m in.
Who thinks he can't pick it up if laying down...
@@oldmaninthemirror this bike has that low center of gravity that helps to get it up... I'm sure he never thought to have the dealership run him through picking up the bike...
@@oldmaninthemirror know what you mean.... The what next factor is addictive... I'm waiting for the transformation boy to man... When it's not about him but how to live the nomadic lifestyle without all the toys,,,, come on.... Mickey mouse collection. Arcade games,,,
Doesn't matter. With his luck, the whole trailer will get stolen.
You are gonna hurt yourself on that thing nomadic fanatic
Debbie Downer! :-)
@@cajun_and_zydeco_music That’s to much bike for Nomadic Fanatic! He’s use to E Bikes and Roxy Rebels..
What a relief to see Jax doing better. Praying he continues to improve.
Eric , thanks for taking the time to say hi and take a picture with me today.
I went to Lewis and Clark confluence tower , because i seen your video on that place.
Nice upgrade from the Honda . Thanks again
Always buying new toys. Try reading a book sometime and exercising your mind instead of constantly running around buying things.
Shoulda keep the Rebel. Adjust the windshield so that you look just over the top. Never have it so high that you look through it. You could bolt down a bit of channel iron for the tires so they do not slip sideways. Or just use two strips of wood.
You should add some solar panels on the trailer! Have a connection from the trailer with another Victron MPPT in the bay. Should have enough to run the AC?
Wow! The spending spree continues. I’m really impressed. Curious. How’s your retirement plan going?
He wont' ever answer that question. I guess he's the type that sees "responsibilities" or planning ahead as being not important and that YOLO so who cares about having any retirement plans? lol. Thank God he doesn't have any kids or family to support so I'll give him that smart decision. ? Guess he thinks taxpayers & the government will foot his bills & health care later on in life. I just smh also wondering about his spending sprees & his future. But I truly don't care.
Live and let live ~
Glad to hearJax is much better. Congratulations on H-D. We owned 2 and put 300,000 miles on them so enjoy 😊
Please look into a better locking system for the saddle bags. Those are pretty simple to cut through and remove. In my opinion,
They are going to love how loud that is in campgrounds.
So happy Jax is doing better! Love him! Awesome bike! Great ride! Might want to put some reflective tape on he back of the trailer! Easier to see at night.
Congratulations! On your new Harley! You will love it. I have a Softail Deluxe, I am 5' tall. It is no problem. Hope to see you down the road. Shiny side up!
Bike looks good Eric . Mine is a 1994 FLHTC and has almost 90,000 miles on it . Downfall is that every time I turn around to ride it breaks down after about two to six miles ( or won't run right off the bat ) . LOL my last three rides totaled around nine miles and costed me over $ 600 in repairs they claimed to make so it would run good again . I am giving it to my son to tinker on and will be going back to Honda after 20 years of Harley riding and spending cash . LOL
Regarding Jaxs age. He has a lot of years to go. We had an OUTSIDE cat who lived to be 23. Jax is inside and you take good care of him. You're a good dad.
I like Roxie the Rebel better, but you look good on the Harley too. So so glad for Jax. We love Jax and Tara
Glad to hear that Jax is doing better. Lovin the bike and trailer combo. Stay safe out there.
Congrats on the Harley...nice choice! I recently bought a '21 Slim and absolutely LOVE it! Ride safe!
You look good on this bike😍. Happy to hear Jax’s doing good..
Thought you were cutting back.
Two more vehicles to tag and insured.
No heater, cold in winter. No AC in summer. And very wet in the rain.
Tater Tot has air, heat, dry in the rain, and can carry more groceries and Mickey Mouse stuff. Boys and their toys .
So glad to see Jax doing better thank the Lord. Nice bike but be careful man. Stay safe brother.
You will regret getting that thing
Nice ride, I know you will be a lot more happy with the bigger bike. 👍🏻 Not sure how heavy the generator is but I'd make sure everything is secure enough so that if you have to make a emergency stop that things don't break loose and start flying around in the trailer.
Glad Jax is feeling better. 👍🏻😎
From everyone in the Curran household here on Cape Cod sending our live a were very happy to see Jax is on the mend ! God Bless you both !
Lololol 😆 your NOT a Harley guy. Ever. omg you almost make it worth the watch
Props to the camera man on "the ride" !! Enjoy the Softail ☺️
I have a 2000 Heritage Classic 88B that I bought brand new. Had it lowered 1 inch in front and rear. Welcome to the Harley World.
I have a Heritage Softail same year . Amazingly there are a ton of Harleys for the vertically challenged . Congrats , you're gonna love it , a bike with soul !
Glad you traded up to the Slim. You look good on the bike, but please lighten up on the throttle. Yes, its loud, but you don't have to let everyone know that. Be cool. Everyone that sees you on the bike knows you're cool. I've been riding bikes for over 60 years. I have a Thunderheader exhaust on my Slim, but I don't twist the loud throttle just to impress people. Be cool. Enjoy the Slim. I love mine.
Nice! I thought you were getting a bike with 2 front wheels. I woulda bet on it.
Glad Jax man is doing better 💕. Sweet Harley! Be careful on that thing, a lot more torque & weight than your old bikes. Take it slow, gonna take quite a while to adjust to that hog. Ride on 🤙
Congrats on the bike. I have the same model year, 2012 softail, but the CVO version. Awesome bike and enjoy every time I’m out on it. Have fun. Glad Jax is doing good👍🇨🇦🇺🇸
You going to look really cool riding around in your Micky Mouse jacket!!!!😎😂🤣
Yeah. "Badder". LOL
I’m so happy jax is doing better I’m tearing up with joy !!!! That bike is amazing Eric! Please be safe!!
Glad to hear Jax is feeling better.
I didn't think that was Tara when he jumped up there lol.
I didn't either. Tara was probably hiding after him starting up that super annoying loud dumb bike. I feel bad for her having to deal with that stupid loud annoying bike TOY.
Looking good on that Harley Eric!!
I’m so happy Jax has turned a corner and is getting better❤️🩹. I know you are so relieved!!
What was the point of watching you play with your new toy? Do you want people to be envious? Maybe you do, because you were acting like a kid with a new toy.
Yup. If there ever was a total braggart of UA-cam, Eric is it for sure. I smh and YAWN at his ongoing lame child like purchases.
All upgrades were just right for that cool looking bike. The bike looks like it fits, important factor for us short legged folks. The windshield another good feature. Bugs at 60 hurt!!!
Happy Trails
No disrespect to you and your new ride but I came for the update on Jax and his recovery earned my thumbs up. 👍 Beautiful bike though😉
This bike will be gone very soon. ...just my guess.
His kitten Tara certainly hopes so as I'm sure it scares the crap out of her.
Oh Eric, hearing that Jax is on the mend just made my day!!!!!! 😻 Also, congratulations on the HD, the black matte looks sweet! Linda in Oregon
Harley looks great. You can add a lift kit and get taller tiers on the trailer to even it out and gain a little ground clearance.
Man child meter is rising!
Congratulations. Ohhhhh - there's nothing that sounds as good as the deep rumble of a Harley. I'm jealous. Glad to see that Jax is on the mend.
P.S. Dont tie down on the handle bars. Use the lower forks! You dont want the shocks loaded when transporting. Love the bike and the life.
Congrats on the bike man! Be safe out there! Nice to see Ajax feeling better, he’s a sweet boy!
Glad Jax is doing better, that's never fun to deal with. WELCOME to the HD fam.
So glad Jax is better! It's stressful when the babies are sick!
Nice bike Eric! Have u checked out the tow behind trailer for bikes that Wayward Waggs bought to tow their Harley? It's pretty nice. Just a suggestion. Glad to hear Jax's is feeling better!
Glad Jax is doing better. Never cared for loud machines, but hey it's your thing, not mine. It is a pretty bike, but I'd prefer an older BMW that you cant hear coming or going...
Glad to see Jax is doing so much better... Love the new bike! Very happy for you!
Thats Worth Getting rid of the Van/House,Good Luck with new Bike
I’m very happy Jax is doing better. He is so special. 😻
Thanks for the great entertainment Eric. You are living my fantasy to find happiness by indulging myself with toys instead of struggling through complicated relationships. I hope you find what you're looking for!
Glad Jax is doing better. Bet they both freaked out when you started that thing! Personally, those things are way too loud for me. Don't know how they are legal. 😩 Glad you are making a good living on UA-cam! 😂👍🏻
Yeah I know. Tara will bolt & hide all day every time he starts that annoyingly over loud adult-child bike. I feel bad for her. She is already scared enough it seems and he goes buying another totally lame & dumb purchase like that. I smh at this dude a lot.
If you ever get to Brooklyn I'll pinstripe, and airbrush it for you.
Wow ! Real nice of you.
One thing in the description is right, badder, Harley's are terrible! If you're annoyed at the upkeep of the motorhome you ain't seen nothing yet! As long as you're happy mate go for it!
Me quickly jumping to 9:00 for Jax update.
Eric living mighty high on the hog these days. Hope you are saving for a rainy day not just an emergency repair fund.
Eric, I've been following you for a very long time. It saddens me to see how Jax has changed. Physically. My heart is with him. Take care Eric, enjoy all your new toys~
Gloves. For when you crash. And a modular helmet to save your face. For when you crash.
Good for you !!!! Welcome to the club, my family were a big part of the creation of Harley-Davidson.
Sounds like an interesting story
@@sculpter100 very interesting !!!! Edwin "sherbie" Becker was the first tester and racer for Harley-Davidson in 1903, my grandfather's oldest brother Emil was one of the first investors and ran Harley-Davidson for many years. There were 5 Becker brothers along with 5 other Becker cousins working at Harley-Davidson since day one, out of the original 18 employees 10 were Beckers.
We bought a Sportster, kept it a month, traded it for a Heritage Softtail Custom. The Sportster just wasn’t enough bike. You made a good decision. My husband built a hinged storage seat up front in our trailer. Kept everything out of site and not moving around. Cool….we will watch videos of a future Sturgis trip. There used to be Little Sturgis in Kentucky too. Have fun.
Happy to see Jax doing much better. Great looking bike. Be Safe ✌
Awesome! You're grinning form ear to ear! Congrats! Good to hear Jax is doing better!
Congrats on the soft tail, Harley is a living breathing Machine, a complete experience. Ive loved all of mine, currently on a road king, wish I could include a picture.
👍🏻👍🏻 my 2018 FLHRXS Roadking. 🙏✝️🇨🇦
I have to confess, the bike is nice..and I am happy for you...but I was anxious to hear about Jax man.... that is what made my day !
Jacket, gloves and boots at all times!!! You will thank me later!!! Keep up the great vids!!!
Nice bike! REMEMBER, THERE ARE TWO KINDS OF RIDERS, THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN DOWN AND THOSE THAT ARE GOING DOWN. ALWAYS DRESS FOR THE CRASH NOT THE RIDE.

Go the extra mile and add dead bolt locks to each side of back door of trailer. Also consider adding a GPS tracker to bike.
Why ???
