i like how blob straight up told the answers like any person with common sense would do in that situation
Yeah we're so damn used to the stupid stubborn prideful idiot who keeps refusing to give the answers even he will do it anyways once the MC starts yelling at him again. Like every movie ever

Exactly. No "tHeY wOuLd KiLl Me iF i tOlD yOu"
"Stryker kept it real secret" Claws come out. "......but..."
The way he says it n how his face reaction is priceless.
Ya
"I'm comin with you, Logan... just so I can die in a very silly and anticlimactic way five minutes later".
Imagine being able to teleport away and bring and ranged weapon you want.
And you get into a fistfight with a guy who has claws and can heal from anything you can do to him.
@@joestevenson5568When you put it that way, the fight was dumb to begin with😅
@@WilliPhantom Yeah it really showed how much potential that character had and how dumb it really is...
@@joestevenson5568it wasn’t Victor who killed him, it was his cocksureness.
Seriously though, if im Logan i will tell him to stay the fuck outta this since he is on Stryker's list too, just to save his life. Besides, Logan is way too OP at this point that he can solo everything Stryker throw at him. Victor, Weapon XI and even two adamantium bullets in the head couldn't kill him, he didn't need any help at all (except from Victor himself at the end but Logan didn't ask for that).
that actor that played blob knocked it out of the park. he was so good.
The actor is excuse my mouth but he is badass on the movie legion he's a angel 2010
The actor is Kevin Durand, he played with Jackman in Real Steel too.

@@DrHappy12 "excuse my mouth" this isn't a preschool no one cares about stupid swear words
Fred is almost immune to puncture wounds. Logan would have to really work at it to get his head to come off.
Keyword being "almost", and Logan would definitely be pretty damn motivated to take his head off.
I still don't think the Adamantium claws would have any trouble cutting through
@@seyan.7364 In the comics, Fred regularly takes Logans claws to the belly without getting cut. He's shown as shocked when Logan is able to get enough leverage into the blow to actually cut him. Heck, even Cyclops cutting beams struggle to do more than make Fred mad. Logan would per comic book lore more likely intimidated Fred with a threat Fred would believe if Logan threatened to cut his ears and nose off.
i think it's more the implied "i WILL kill you whatever it takes " of the threat.
Logan has already beaten him once, he may be immune to bullets and claws but would still die if he beats him down again and decides to suffocate him.
hooooo
so he would have to do like spartacus
Fun Fact: Blob appeared briefly in X-Men Apocalypse
bruh which part? can u be more specific. i never noticed him. and he's huge enough to not be noticed
@@makhevz69 Before the Angel vs Nightcrawler fight, Angel defeats a big fat guy who is later carried away, if you watch close enough you'll see that he wears an outfit from the comics

Yeah
You're a fun fact for commenting this on both vids
I'm surprised the prison guards still played poker with Gambit even if they kept getting their money taken, in fact I'm surprised they even play poker with Gambit at all. He must've been decently liked by the prison
He must have some... charm to him, or somethin
i mean he is quite charismatic
That boy ain't nothin' but charm
I guess despite being a prisoner, the guards likely found him entertaining.
Poker is surprisingly addictive and then when you lose to someone you become even more determined to beat them until you finally realize you wasted all your money and you didn't
This ties the first X-Men movie together nicely with Wolverine's past. In the first movie he says he's been wondering around for 15 years with no memory of what happened before and at the end of this movie he loses his memory from being shot with an adamantium bullet. The first movie came out in 2000 minus 15 years would put this at about 1985 which seems right.
The facility is at Three Mile Island, which puts it at 1979
and then literally almost every other x-men movie says “lmao what timeline”
Despite its flaws (particularly that abomination of a Deadpool) this was a decent entry in the X-Men series
I liked part of this film for exploring Wolverine and Sabertooth's shared backstory. Other than that, it really did not work out well when they decided to make First Class.
Brendan Fraiser really killed in this movie I'm so glad he got the Oscar!
lmao you an A-hole for that XD love it
Ur such a dickhead but thats funny 😂😂
Wait hold up, Brendan Fraser is the blob in this movie
How did I miss that, I didn't recognize him with all that make up😮

When Gambit escaped from the prison, how come Stryker and Sabretooth didn't even try to get him back?
I always assumed the allowed him to escape so Logan would seek him out. Note that when Logan finds Gambit Sabertooth immediately shows up like he was waiting for him. Gambit was unknowingly bait. As for Gambit himself, he's aware they're probably looking for him since he assumes Wolverine was sent after him by Stryker.
Good question
my best guess would be that since they already had his dna they deemed it a case of we dont need to risk it given his power level. all the cost none of the reward. gambit is crazy powerful.
Good luck capturing gambit twice
Because Gambit asked to leave, and they said yes.
I love the detail that logan winces slightly as he unsheathes his claws here
Honestly, this movie was good, right up until the end. When they showed us Not-Deadpool that's when everything started to fall apart. This could have been one of the better X-men movies but then it fell apart. Such a shame.
Technically none of this happened as Logan changed the past and the real Deadpool killed his alternate self.
1:34 i love how claws come out 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Anyone ever wonder how Wolverine’s claws work? Like how they’re stored? They’re long enough that they’d have to be retracted all the way into his forearm, but no part can go past his elbow or else his arm wouldn’t be able to bend. And it has to be totally contained in his forearm or else his wrist won’t bend either. But when they extend, they have to extend all the way out of his forearm so on the dorsal area of his hand has any retention of the claws, again to allow wrist mobility.
they're stored in his forearm, and when he whips out the claws they move from his forearm up into his hand then out between his fingers. when they're out they dont conflict with his wrist movement because the claws are in his hand with the rest coming out his hand. i hope u get what im tryna say lol
Generally seems like they’re stored in his forearm, and they don’t extend out far enough to not lock his wrist. When they’re extended he doesn’t really move his wrist. Would make sense to have them more sturdy as the wrist would be a weak spot.
I never really try to make reason out of cartoon/anime character super powers, anything can make sense in a cartoon world but not in reality.
Yeah i think it hurts him whenever he retracts his claws and brings them out
@@dragoncaptain678 Seeing as they have to break the skin in order to do so, yes.
Blob was actually winning until he got cocky and decided to fight unconventionally.
1:30 - 1:40 : Frank didn't mess around, when he saw those claws.......good thing, too. I'd tell every bit of info I could, if I were in his shoes.......😰
Can Logan's claws even cut thru Blob's blubber? Last I read Blob has such immense weight, blubber, and gravitational force that Logan couldn't cut him even with a clean slice. And he couldn't reach Blob's face because Blob would just cover with his hands and arms. And I believe only Hulk has been able to lift him and only Juggernaut has been able to push him back. I believe I also read that Absorbing Man and Sandman were both able to physically move him...not thru sheer force but by affecting the surface beneath him. But I mean, that could be later versions of Blob. Maybe this is an earlier version.
It's not about Blob's weight and blubber layer(s), it's about his mutant ability: kinetic energy absorption. Bullets, L.A.W.'s (light anti-tank weapons), even Cyclops' energy blasts don't affect him. Logan's claws _are_ sharp enough to slice into Blob's body, but it would have to be at just the right angle, so the razor edges can get through; the points/tips of the claws would be carrying the kinetic energy in such a way that Blob could absorb it.
@@alexisgrunden1556 ok maybe what I read was that his blubber was soo thick that Wolverine can't kill him due to not being able to deal sufficient damage and also not being able to hit any vital organs.
@@blaqwhole4998 Possible, though uncertain. It was mentioned in the comics that Blob was shocked that wolverine _could_ cut him at all. But there's a lot more ways to kill a person than cutting into a vital organ; there's a concerning number of major blood vessels that lay perilously close to the surface and within slicing range of Wolvie's claws.
@@alexisgrunden1556 I'm sure I remember one time that Cyclops was able to knock him back some. Actually, according to wikipedia, source unknown however, he tore a hole through his shoulder. Also according to Wikipedia, only The Hulk, Juggernaut, and Strong Guy are able to lift him. Colossus and Magneto can cheat by lifting up what he's standing on instead.

Here a $1,000 question: Has The Blob been sitting in that corner throughout the rest of the movie or did Victor kill him?
The Blob fights Angel later on in Apocalypse. You can briefly see him being carried away in his uniform.
@@WSilvermane Its relative, as X-men Apocalypse is part of the new timeline, while that this movie was still part of the original timeline.
Making unknown the fate of Fred after this interrogation.
In this movie, Victor killed it just after that scene. Victor, then, tells to (Will I am) he kills Fred during their fight.
There's a deleted scene where Sabretooth shows up where Blob was and that it's assuming he might've killed him off

I AIN'T ASKIN'
I always liked Blob, and I’m glad he got some representation in a film, even if it was this one. So many mutants are just good looking, athletic people who can do supernatural stuff. Imagine you were lucky enough to be a mutant, super strong and nigh invincible, but you were doomed to be egregiously fat and mocked forever. That’s way more tragic than having to wear glasses or not being able to touch someone.
The Whale before mainstream
holy shit goated comment

The “but” when he pull out the almost unbluntable knife
i think my biggest problem with x-men movies is how they always only show a glimpse of each mutant's power. For X-men origins, it would have been cool if Fred and Wraith went on the mission with Logan to save the mutants from Striker. I know Wraith kind of did, but he was killed off immediately as well.
Spectre
I can’t take this scene seriously the blob is just too much
'i aint askin' ....the smoooooooth black actor stereotype. i like it
0:01 Oy! OY!!! Wake up, man!
This movie had an amazing script. The writing is so good, but the director completely and totally missed the point. The whole thing should have been darker, more like a bad memory. The bad special effects completely pulled me out of the scene. It's like they were trying to do some type of comedy effect when the entire thing should have been more like Batman mixed with a James Bond thriller. The acting was good even but the filters they used and lighting and really really bad spec effects almost made it unwatchable.
“If I have to come back here, I'm gonna take your head off.”
Too bad for you, Logan. Victor beat you to the punch just after you and John left the gym.
For people say "its only flesh, Logan can cut his head no problem".
Fred, the Blob's power is about gravity. He makes gravity something something i dont know the detail :D So, its not only "flesh" Logan will be dealing with.

Kevin Durant played the role of blob very well
1:02 to 1:08
At this moment Logan realised, that the only thing striker had ever wanted to do to him, is turn him into some indomitable weapon, and also realised, people will just keep messing with him and other mutants as well.

One question: How does blob get up from that potition...
Same way other Mutants got their powers
a big fart should be enough
Bro if I could teleport I would abuse it so hard I wouldn't be taking a single step ANYWHERE
1:30 to 1:54 Striker and Victor are so twisted. Also, I thought Victor didn’t know until later in this movie that his healing powers were weaker than Logan’s, so he couldn’t get the Adamantium. This implies otherwise, because wouldn’t they have known already to not do the Adamantium procedure on Victor if they had to trick Logan into doing it? 1:17 to 1:24
