The pastry is not fully cooked because the temp is too high and the pastry is way too thick on top of the chocolate! Could easily have made that sheet into 6 pieces.
I do this but I keep the bar whole and just lay it down the middle. Cut the 2 sides into ribbons and weave across the top making a complete cover on the bar!:)

Baking tip. For those who dont eat eggs or dont want to use a whole egg for a little egg wash (those things are expensive). Just use a little milk. Brush it over top like you would egg wash. Comes out the same as if u used an egg.

When I have leftover puff pastry I put chocolate chips and jam in it and make little breakfast pastries.
