I think D could be done just fine in live-action. I'd prefer animation at this point since it's been so long since we got any. But eventually, I would not mind seeing a live-action D film or something. And as they say in this podcast they did pitch a live-action version at one point.
there are certain questions, that is needed to be answered, for example: do you have a map of the frontier on earth, the new structure, vampiric geopolitics on the solar system, the mistery of D and Dad, what about it?, i hope you team, develop the ideas into a great universe
There is no map of the frontier and their probably never will be. Kikuchi-san has a lot of worldbuilding split across the breath of the novels, with a number of them not yet published outside of Japan. We won't be digging to the wider universe off the bat as we are starting with adapting one specific novel.

I would like to give you a couple of suggestions for your podcast like: 1) Interviews with the English voice actors from the VHD movies and audiobooks or Marco D'Ambrosio, VHD: Bloodlust composer. 2) Make an audio comic of VHD: Message from Mars. I would pay money for that.

I didn’t even know there was a kickstarter on the comic until the comic was finished and I saw it at the comic store the day it came out. I didn’t even realize they finished the series because of the hiatus. I’m definitely excited to see more

I really enjoy the ongoing Graphic Audio adaptations of the books (basically audiodramas in english) the cast even sounds like D and Left hand from the Bloodlust movie. I really think its wild w/netflix announcing the D anime then nothing ... so strange this series has not had any anime in Japan . . . they can literally make an anime using the new audiodramas Also sell some gloves winter or cooking gloves with left hand on one of them (and if you do send me one!)
