No dear you do not need any preservative. If you desire, you can add vitamin E oil which will act as an anti-oxidant. For 100 grams of oil, add 2 grams of vitamin E oil.
I used fractionated coconut oil. I decided to use this oil because it is odourless, can be used in food and cosmetics, and does not clog pores if used on the skin.

And wen I use the double boiling method the oil come out so green but it smells really great. My question like how it is so green can it called essential oil still or not?

Yes, it should work perfectly. Just make sure it is completely dry before you blend it. And when blending, do not let it get to marshy else it will be difficult to separate the oil from the herbs.
