I absolutely love seeing all of this. I know how hard it is to get through everyday life with anxiety/depression/a clouded mind, but I also know how good it is to push through that and surround yourself with supportive positive people. Seeing all your snapchat stories and listening to your struggles, seeing you like this...enjoying everything and pushing past your mental block. Super encouraging. You deserve all the happiness dodie, keep fighting for it x.

I love music so much, and i can pick up instruments pretty easily, but I can't compose. It's just not there. I don't hear new songs or melodies. I can write lyrics, but...my point is, is I so appreciate people who can. I am fascinated by singer/songwriters and the magic that they create. I look forward to you becoming big enough that you can tour in the US. Hope an LP is in the works because your EP is beautiful and fun and I can only imagine what a full album would be. I happily support you on patreon and watch your videos, yet I wish there was more I could do.
I wrote this poem years ago, inspired by a guy who'd always send me clips of songs he was writing. While writing this comment, i thought of it and i thought of you, and it perfectly encapsulates how I feel. So here it is.
Simplistics
It is such a gift, what we can do:
Unraveling mysteries, yet ever more confused
Lassoing emotions with the vibrations of chords
Enfolding personality in such few words
Expressing sacred truths of God's contemplations
The truths which are macrocosmic sensations
But through words and notes, we gather their feathers
Lovingly writing sheet music as tethers
Captivated by obsessions, but pinning them down,
Picking out our favorites, scattering them around
But the entirety of the thought, these half-understood foundations
Crumbling archetypes of forgotten generations--
Everyone is aware but no one understands
The complicated mess, the evil red crayons
That scribble on our lives, giving us color but ever more blank spaces,
Confusing us with lies in the shades of false embraces.

Ayayaye, if you could set something like that to music, or get a friend to since you’ve said you aren’t great at it, it would be a hit in no time. It reminds me a bit of “sentences sit in her mouth that are templated” which I think is so brilliant.

It's so awesome to see how you've progressed! I saw you in Akron, Ohio (not where I live, we made a road trip out of it) before Intertwined came out. Tessa and Rusty had an incredible show, and it goes without saying that our Dodes did too. When I met you (no ballot because the show was pretty small) my friend gave me a picture she drew of you to give to you! You called her Incredibly Talented and honestly, it was probably just a filler compliment, but it meant so much to us. My little sister brought you a pretty pastel fake potted plant she made and a little card, and she was ecstatic to be there as well :)Love ya dodie. It's incredible to see how much you've grown

Thank you so much for touring!!! I had a great evening in Manchester... Even if I did have to come out of the crowd because I was nearly sick during she because I was anxious and crying too much, I stood by the bar and watched from a distance after that. Thank you thank you thank you for all you do for us. I love you so much lil dodie bean

Once, I also felt sick during a concert and started feeling sick. I thought it were butterflies and due to the fact I hadn't eaten much that day. UNTIL I almost collapsed, but managed to sit down on the floor (not so) gracefully. My friend took me out of the crowd (who made room at once luckily) until I collapsed again against the bar. The bar man then got a security guy to carry me to the emergency doctor backstage. Turned out I had severe food poisoning and a pancreas eating itself up. Lay there for the rest of the concert drinking tea and eating charcoal (in Russia, you don't get capsules. You get small chunks of coal to chew on. The doctor was all calm and chill and said that as I was backstage already, I might as well stay and meet the band. So that is the story of how my friend and I got a lil chat with only fucking Milky Chance! 🎉

I gave out Chupa Chups to my friends at school, because we were all sad we couldn't get to where you were playing. (The closest was Sheffield, but it was a school day, and train fares would have totalled to be quite expensive.)

GOD i live in sheffield!!! I would never be able to see a concert (FUNDS aaAAA) But just seeing Dodie in my city made my heart swell up so much!! I have so many memories here and i've been through the same places countless times. Idk I'm gushy but it just makes everything seem more real. how do you organise things like this when you're unsigned? I always assumed it was the label that generally put tours together
with a fuck lot of stress and great people around me (josh Phil pete etc)
OH and I have booking agents who just book the shows but don't sort out the stuff
