  • ***MARK MY WORDS***.....People, now watch the frauds (My greatest fans in denial who live to watch my videos) claim they focus on spiritualism now that I have made this video to cover up their errors. I bet they will make response videos about it now because of their ego and their own denial that they don't train in real Ninjutsu.
You other orgs claim you are a real Ninjutsu practitioner and yet you have no foundation in spiritualism? Who are you calling a fake or a fraud? Your certificate or a piece of paper saying you are up to a 15 dan or whatever your organization (who doesn't know or teach anything about the spirituality behind Ninjutsu) gives you suppose to replace the true powers behind the Ninja? Frame and show off your "fantasy" high ranking certificate and post in on your dojo walls and teach people to use mouthjutsu and attack people they don't know with your arrogance and your ignorance..I will not stop you or will I teach this poor behavior to my students. Which REAL Ninjutsu school teaches the spiritual stuff that their students can prove to me? Is there any REAL training out there?...show me your spiritual power and i will show you my faith and my source of power. Fair enough?

I have had interest in practicing Ninjitsu, and my purpose was to strengthen my spiritual being. I totally agree with you. Any tools can be used and be used effectively to defend one's self. Whoever chooses Ninjitsu for fighting/defending will never understand the true meaning of Ninjitsu. I am glad I came across your youtube Channel. Great work!!

Love is harder to learn, harder to express and is unconditional, love conquers all things! Hate is a weakness that grinds away at your very essence, your soul as well as your mind and body. When you hate you have to continually watch your back. Hate opens doors to mistrust and misjudgement. Love opens doors to all things physical and spiritual~

    explanation to the proverb:
"Weak people hate and strong people love"
What I can understand from the above mentioned proverb is that, weak people do not understand or feel the similarity between them and everything else,or do not accept it .Hence they tend to hate it or many times fear it.However the strong see's the common string in which we all are weaved , hence strong can not muster up the anger or hatred towards that thing(can be an object or a situation), reason why strong can become fearless, and when one is fearless then one is not weak
I also believe that strong people have a sense of individuality and are more calmer ,cooler and composed than those who are weak.I think they have tuned their mind to produce no noise. whereas weak is all so disturbed and baffled about the constant broadcasting of the strange thoughts in their mind.
hence after feeling the similarity love flows in just like that!

Thanks for you series and insights of this art! I specifically like your strong emphasis on the dangers of the occult aspects when one is NOT PROPERLY trained in that field! Many of the young dabble in a variety of diverse occult practices without understanding that, they have to have developed certain inner qualities of strength and purity. That again can only be recognized by a experienced senior of the craft! We can refer to a a number of tribal practices of initiations into the world of the unseen, where elders take not just anyone on a quest into the spiritual realms. I heard many stories people getting into severe psychic trouble, and I mean serious trouble! Your lessons are clear and I hope people take to heart what they hear from you! I hope your pupils are as serious as your message!

If I understand the proverb, it means that a song man knows that with all that the world throws at him he must return hate with love. When he can get outside himself he realizes that all are human and mistakes happen where as the weak man, the shallow man, feels only hate for those he sees as lesser than himself. For he is the lesser man by thinking himself greater.

I've been following your videos just about for 2 years now and I have to say personally, this one was the best. I decided to not watch your videos on how to train and fight but for about 2 years I stayed through with the meditation video ( the one that was to prepare you for training) afterwards I decided to exercise and build my body because I always thought that in order to use true ninjutsu not only my body but my spirit must be strong. Thank you for confirming that

And I've studied their history to an extent, but the main reason I've wanted to train in this art was to become one with myself and in the art that I chose. I'm thankful for you to have exposed what the ninja really are, and how spirituality is the key element to Ninjustu. I hope to learn it in the coming years.

I will look at your videos to get some inspiration for the story thank you! :)

But, I have got to tell you that I really admire you for exposing the darkness surrounding ninjutsu clearly knowing that you are going to be criticized. Before watching this video I too always dreamed of learning ninjutsu some day just to show off to my friends. Mr. Chosun, Your video was brought to me today by youtube newsletter as a video I'd like to watch: and youtube was right. I just loved your words. I learn Wing Chun and, during the first moments, the forms and techniques were just it with no difference of martial arts I practiced before.. But, when I learned about the Taoism philosophy and Chi, nothing in Wing Chun was the same. I can feel the energy within me and my "opponent". Before it was commercial movements but now, it became a form to enlightment, no matter my masters see it or not (although they notice the difference). Wise words of yours. And about the explanation of your proverb, I will explain related to Martial Arts: Being full of compassion (love) makes me so strong that I am able of finishing a fight before it starts because I am not blind by hate, which would make me weak and would not make me able to see the moment of stopping. As a regular person, love makes me understand and accept others whereas hate makes me see the worst of a person first. Peace and thank you by your video.

I was drawn into a false teacher when I was 13... I was a kid, so I thought it was going to be cool, like Naruto... I had always been fascinated by martial arts since I was around 4 or 5 years old, even watching Bruce Lee. But When I was 13 I went to Arizona, & my uncle & aunt whom I was staying with at the time were also tricked by this "teacher" I ended up going to a camp-sight with others varying in age. We all had been put through horrible tasks, & many of us were injured with no doctors around. during stealth training, Everyone was divided up, & all the people who failed had to hit eachother with socks filled with rice, while the last standing victor who had gone un-found got pampered at the lodge. I was the victor... I laid in the cold river til I was sure our "game" was over... I started feeding in more & more to this man. While the people I made friends with started to hate me. We then left camp, & we all returned home... & I was thieving for this person, & giving him jewelry, while I got paid to do the job. I then started drinking, & acting out, I became blind, not physically, but spiritually, & mentally. My family back in my home state called out to me, & I finally came home. I' am 19, going on 20 this year, & it has taken me many years to heal from what happened. I've been watching your videos for sometime now, & you have really helped me see more clearly, & enlightened me. I don't think I will ever take on a teacher ever again, until fate chooses for me, instead of me, choosing for myself. Only then can I learn to defend myself, my family, loved ones, & all I stand for. But I have taken a great liking to your videos, & I get good vibes from you, & you videos. Thank you so much! I wish Good energies towards you, & your family. Blessings.

My interpretation for what you asked sir: "Weak people hate. Strong People love" is much more complex that a yes or no answer, or any formal one directional response. This is something that is supposed to invoke a process of greater thought to build an understanding of its nature. Much like the question, "is the glass half empty or half full?" The stereotype is to have 2 answers, which in reality there are plenty more. Such as the cup seems a bit taller, or it's time for a refill, or anything else.
I see this in several different aspects that can take up a book to explain, but I feel this can be summarized as it is easier to cast blame on yourself and others for situations. Probably shedding blame towards a particular direction, spewing words of criticism probably because in the individuals core, they are weak to accept the flow of nature for what it is. Deep down, weakened by whatever ails them, they are filled with hate to compensate for what they cannot understand, or choose to ignore.
It takes more effort to let go of material things, and egotistical barriers mans builds for themselves. It takes strength and courage to walk the path of selflessness expecting not a single thank you or any form of recognition for the deeds performed. To be strong is to admit weakness for what it is, and for that transcends into strength of the soul, the character and those around you.
Thank you sir for taking the time to make this video and share it with the world. *bow*

The true weakness is to not have spiritualism, If you have it you can't hate because you know only love is true. And is easier to judge and hate than to understand someone and have compassion because that someone that hurted you maybe is "really weak" and can't love.

Wow I never knew that the ninja would go and practice other styles on purpose, but as spies that makes perfect sense, and open-minded enough to incorporate techniques they learned from other styles that worked for them! I knew they were versatile, but to voluntarily break from tradition with one martial art style to another seems waaay ahead of it's time! Thank you for this insight and all the great videos you post :) When I first decided to take up martial arts my focus was always on the art and beauty of it and how it could help me develop spiritually. I never went into it thinking how I could use it to hurt people even though I had much anger in me. I wanted a constructive way to channel that anger and transform it into something positive, all while building confidence and discipline. I fell in love with Ninjutsu the moment I saw the graceful movements in American Ninja movies as well as Bloodsport with Jean Claude Van Damme as Frank Dukes LOOSELY based on his training and fights in the Kumite. ( I know it's Hollywood, but the emphasis on the spirituality was there :p) Pay no attention to the naysayers that give you flak. Some people are just miserable and like being miserable and unfortunately they won't change no matter how much we may want them to( throwing pearls before swine rings a bell ) Also do you have or know of any legit Ninjutsu schools in Long Island New York by any chance? Thanks again.

    Hi,
I would like to start by saying that your words here are incredibly refreshing.
Since I was a small child I was fascinated with any kind of martial or montu arts, oddly enough not even for the sake of being a "bad ass" or being able to fight people, but simply to become the master of my own body.
My mother was very afraid of having me involved in such practices since I had drowned at age 3 and she was sure she had lost me, so she took very long to let go again (I'm now 23 years old).
I've always had a strong interest in spirituality (perhaps because of my incident of leaving my body at such a young age) but when living in North America within this corporate based distraction system, I was distracted and for sometime had been lead to focus on other things.
I then went to University for 4 1/2 years and in that time I became painfully aware of the illusions being fed to most of us "citizens" and so I stepped far away from the path advised; As much of an outcast as I was my whole life, it became more intense from that point forward.
Long story cut shorter, I had been given the opportunity again while still in school to study karate (Kenpo and Shotokan). Though thankful for what I learned with regards to movements, I was disappointed that the importance of breath was only mentioned so shortly and that any aspect of spirituality was ignored like a pink elephant in the room actually practicing the katas with us. It was for this reason that even though I was told I show remarkable potential for sparing tournaments and other such aspects of modern day dojo delights, I had to respectively take a leave of absence with a vague explanation as of why I haven't been around.
As of late, I've been focused on myself and building/rediscovering my purpose. All I can focus on is how I've become so much more happy and full of life by choosing to take the time to exercise my lungs, diaphragm, flexibility, dexterity (while focusing less on muscle building, getting larger, etc) as well as my imagination and compassion for all other living/"non living" things. I've also been focusing on disciplining myself with respect to what I consume, both physically as well as mentally and spiritually (vegan/soy+gluten free dieting, cleansing regularly, trying to spend less time indoors and more time in nature, etc).
My purpose for writing all of this is that i've noticed a large separation between myself and many of those who I've come across in the martial arts world, both more and less talented than I am in physical execution of practices and I truly believe the difference is my commitment towards wanting to truly innerstand my spirit, recognizing my spirit and other spirits and most of all figuring all the corners of respecting mine as well as all other spirits to the best of my abilities.
I don't imagine that you will come across this comment, and if you do you may not respond, but even though I am only very recently viewing your videos I am grateful for them and this message in particular.
All the best in your continuing searches.

The weak in mind and spirit lash out and fall pray to lies and improper thinking and behavior. The Strong learn to know peace and patients so the can show love and compassion for others. I have trained in the systems and paths out of fear and the felt need to learn to survive the ignorance and violence so common in the world. My son likes to tease me saying " Dad that's so ninja". But, then to me that is what the WAY is all about. Learning to live in peace and harmony with your environment, your self and those around you in a non-violent way and doing only what it takes to survive and be happy. Thank you Sir.

What you say is true, but here is what I like about Ninjutsu...:
If you study to conceal your techniques (or your spirit), you do not come off as a combatant, and avoiding fighting, is easy. You won't be tied to a stance or form which gives you away, based on techniques I've learned, running is more often an option.
No matter the martial art, it is always the spirit that one takes into it that decides the out come of the practitioner's prowess and how that individual applies it to life.
You are absolutely right though. I fantasize and study to conceal my spirit for free.

I've been practicing My Taekwondo and Kali/Arnis for years now and I always stress in the dojo some of the same things to other younger students in the class. I always tell them Martial Arts in a whole for me personally is 30% physical 70%mental and 10% spiritual.
I don't see the point of winning all the time, I think that losing sometimes in a match you learn more about your weaker points and on what you could improve on.
As soon as I get my blackbelt and do a few more tournaments I was thinking of dedicating my time to learning Ba Ghua and Ninjutsu, just need to research the right teachers for me.
I was always interested in Ninjutsu ever since I was a kid at 8yrs old living in Hawaii on a military base with my family.
Hard to believe for most people that I meet, but yes three years ago I had a raise in consciousness level and now I am more spiritually aware.
I laughed out of sheer understanding of the proverb said at the end of this video :)

I'm very happy that I stumbled across your video. Over the years I've always wanted to learn some kind of martial art and yes I'll admit, the combat side does strongly appeal to me. All I've ever heard is "Oh, it's for self-defense" when really it's just some kind of glorified sport. To learn there is actually a spiritual base to it that's lacking in the main stream makes me glad I haven't gone to any of the local dojos. Thank you for pointing that out.
I think the Kanja means to hate is a fault in ourselves, to think only of ones self, making one weak. To love is the opposite, to give/sacrafice of ones self, making you strong.

I absolutely love your videos. They are so informational and entertaining. I may never have a practical use for an authentic smoke bomb, but the material you are teaching is so Intriguing to me. As if I am remembering these things from a previous lifetime. Your videos serve a number of uses for me. Not only can I watch them for training tips and combat tips, but I learn about History and Meditation and what Ninjutsu really is. I have searched for a teacher that can see past combat. They have all been phony money-bags that enjoy hurting other living things. Finally I have found a teacher. A very solid and authentic teacher. I don't want to fight for any reason. But I want to have that skill in my pocket if I ever need to defend myself and my family. The best part is that your videos are FREE! Holy Cow! That's the way it should be. Thank You for teaching the Truth. I really appreciate your videos and I will continue learning from them.

Very interesting!!! I'm still wating for the next vid. I have always felt like that, when looking up different ninjustsu dojo/schools. I never saw them teaching the things you are teaching in your channel. I always saw them focus only on the fighting. I was getting worried that I might never be able to learn the other parts.
PS. What kind of spiritualism did the ninjas use?

The weak find ways to avoid pain. The strong find a way to endure and carry on so that one day they are able to share the pain that inflicts those they love. I find the more spiritual you get, the more responsive the body becomes. I really liked that quote at the end. I'm new to your channel. Know any good teachers in New York City? =)

I believe that this proverb means that the people who are truly weak are the people that go around and attack, both verbally and physically, and brake down other people. It is these people that try to bestow fear in other in an attempt to make themselves feel strong. But those who are truly strong would not bestow fear or attack another but instead love him, and all around him, and try to comfort them.

In saying the weak person hates, while the strong person LOVES, it is not referring to the physical strength of the person but their whole outlook and emotion and their spirituality towards life. A weak person has no belief in themself, no motivation or too much emphasis on themself and not in others. The strong person is disciplined, joyful, outgoing, peaceful, kind, loving and generous and thoughtful.

Could not agree with you more Mr Park. Over my many years of training under different true masters and pseudo wanna be masters I've been able to identify the myth from truth. What you speak is the truth. I have been watching some of your videos over time and can say that your attitude and training is superb. To be a ninjutsu master doesn't have to descend from a particular lineage or from many, A master is one who truly understands the art behind the mask. Bow...

I am also interested in the spiritualism aspect of ninjutsu. From what I can gather, it sounds like that spiritualism would derive from either Shintoism, Daoism, or Buddhism. I would like to know more about this.

This was quite enlightening. I should have figured that since infiltration and assimilation were a part of what ninja do, that they also gathered techniques from other martial styles and applied them to their own. It does make quite a bit of sense. As far as the proverb at the end, I am not certain how well this fits, but there are several things that come to mind. It is easier for people to hate something than to forgive or even care for it. It is easier for people to destroy than to create.

San Say , I found every videos of youtube teaching about Ninjutsu some are really make no sense to me until I found this video and your words , most of the westerners and materialists think that a material art for a pop show . I am Buddhism and I was influenced by Philosophy of Eastern and Buddha , so I see some of the Ninjustsu practices and wisdoms are not the way of to do the popping but the way of to do some the enlighten in life and strategy for military . I also don't like see Ninjustu as a pop show for Holly Wood . Thank you for exposing the the Truth and root of Ninjustu .

It is sad that people no longer think that spiritualism has nothing to do with being a ninja. It is not about tactics, flashy moves or whatever. To be a ninja you must know what a ninja is. I at one point was fed a fantasy. I believed it. Until I faced him. I beat my own *master* and he threw me out because he was upset that I had beaten him. It kinda made me realize *this guy fed me a load of crap and I paid for it*. You are right.

a very mature and compelling words sir. i will dare credit myself and say that i have come to think of some of the things you have said for some time now. having that said, i have always had a fascination with budo in general and specifically with ninjutsu - both with the beauty of the motion and the art and the inner peace and clarity it generates. i am a practitioner of shotokan myself for 7 years now and have recently started jiu jitsu. i am always looking for new alleys to explore and it would be an honor to join a practice in your dojo.
may i have the details of your location and practice times?
    thank you.

I also must thank you for showing me what being a ninja isn't. I don't want to sound like I'm repeating, but I too, used to think that being a "ninja" was just to have cool weapons, I used to do Tae-Kwon-Do but, sadly had to quit for personal reasons. I would like to learn for the skill, the ability to take hits, and since I am really skinny, to utilize my speed.

How can I begin the path towards becoming disciplined in the ways of "legitimate" ninjutsu? I don't seek the ability to assassinate people, and I definitely am not seeking to be Naruto. How can I unlock this inner power and adapt to my surroundings like a true shinobi.

Chosun Ryu, I have been following your videos for a couple of years now, training what I believe is authentic Ninjutsu, because of course everyone wants to be a Ninja and fight with their Mall-bought "katana". Anyways I have been practicing your tutorials along with my red belt degree in Karate which only teaches the normal combat skills needed to "self defense". But that is not the only thing I want to learn. By watching your videos I have learn the roots of the proper "Kanja". And that not only is he/she a ninja, criminal, (or as you said in the video) a terrorist, but a Kanja is a professional SURVIVOR technician, one that knows how to survive anywhere anytime. Thank you for making videos and sharing it to people like me who donot have access to a legit authentic Ninjutsu teacher. I appreciate your work! keep making videos!

    (Cont'd on "True weakness")
Strong folks ain't scared of falling down, knowing that they will have and to stand again, and continue forward. I agree, "Weak people hate.", similar to the bully who bullies other kids and makes fun of them, until one will stand up against and confront the bully. "Strong people Love." Love with a pure volume of unity makes the individual and the people strong. Peace.

I originally made my way to you because I wanted to learn about the arts of stealth and cold hard survival against a much more powerful force. I must be honest, I had foreknowledge of the roots of ninjitsu as agents trained as spies - ninjas were seen as dishonorable from what I have studied of Japanese history, I now know how that impression could be made in the first place. I appreciate you sharing the truth, it sets you far apart from the phonies I've seen in the past.
