This one's been on my radar for awhile, glad to see it out, and that it's turned out to be really great.

Just platinumed Anno and was blown away with the game. Wanted to see if others agreed online, looks like they have a classic game in their hands. Truly outstanding game and easily Indie game of the year for me!

Me too. It was well worth it. It was one of those rare games you just knew instantly its going to be great just by looking at it. Already having more fun with this than Cyberbug 2077.

I want the physical copy but I hate limited run and thier bad 1 year until you get your game practices. I'll never order from them again, so I guess no physical for me. I rather pay ebay prices, at least I know I'll be getting the game.

I normally don't play games like this, but the music the aesthetics and the tight gameplay made me get it. And I just love the Japanese aspects!

Wish it was a little bit longer, but wish there were more combat sections, I found the story and characters a bit lackluster and super cringe, main character reminded me of my weird woke neice
Definitely gonna put this one on my list. Hopefully I'll get around to it after I beat Eastward.

When the game first released, I had NO idea what it was about, so I searched UA-cam for a review or even just a video clip. Saw Noisy Pixel on the list, clicked it immediately. As I've said before, NP has become one of the few remaining outfits I know (just a handful or even less now) that keeps it PURELY about the games and the gamers, period. Most places have become about politics & activism & sermons on what gamers/customers "shouldn't" like. Right after watching the video, I picked the game up & just fell in love w/ it. My comment is a little late because of RL, but I just wanna throw a quick thanks to you guys for this short & sweet review which led me to an awesome & gorgeous game.
My only nitpick w/ the game itself is, as the review said, I felt it was a little too short. But then again, some might argue that us "wanting more" is WAY better than the alternative. A side note for NP: I know you gave high praise to the art & aesthetics, which is ABSOLUTELY true, but you should've emphasized a specific shout-out to the character designs. I mean, whether visually or just in general, the developers' designs were second to no one.

Knew nothing about this game until an hour ago and ngl, I was planning on buying Sand Land (wanted a new anime game ngl) but this game caught my attention, game looks insane so I just picked it up, let’s see what I think

This game is also takes place in the world of the SCP foundation. They make very blatant call outs to certain popular well known SCPs and characters from the foundation.
So basically this is taking place in the future of the SCP universe

Play-Asia has had a placeholder page for a physical release for about a year now. I think it’s safe to say we’ll see a disc/cart release eventually.

Well, I don’t do pixel art games that and I don’t do when it’s quarter
Everything else about the game seems so good when looking at clips of the gameplay but the start of the story and the things I read around until leaving Alan's lab at the start felt like they were written to try and get you interested in what's happening but failed miserably. When I read the same "I need to combine *blank* with *blank*" 5 or 6 times in under 2minutes with various different flavour texts around it about moldy hamburger bread and wrong orders(he wanted noodles or something I can't remember, but got delivered hamburgers every time) to constant errors of the code didn't rise my hopes for the story telling, especially when in one datalog entry or what ever they were on the floor the two things suddenly didin't happen to be blanked.
Jumping during the "tutorial" portion felt quite awful honestly and the hit registration on when enemies hit you felt really weird vs the animations. And the initial feeling to the combat over all felt like something you might have during developement for the concept of what it'll be.
Overall I really wanted to like the game but it just felt so awful to play and the writing at the start didn't help at all. Ended up being the first game I've refunded in steam. Maybe they'll polish stuff at some point later and I'm happy to give it another go but for now I just couldn't play it.
This is a better cyberpunk than cyberpunk 2077 wtf

@@rocknmetalultima It doesn't look all that technical so hopefully down the road it'll get a port. I'm still going to preorder the PS5 version but will definitely buy again on the Switch if it's ported. Love playing on the go as I'll take a slight downgrade as long as it's playable and not broken.

If this game wasn't so pixelized (if that's a word) it'd be more appealing to me. Becuase what's the point of having sexy clothing if you can't even appreciate it?

This looks good but the male-gazey character styling brings it down somewhat for me
2 cents from me. Game has amazing aethethics but combat is clunky, there is input lag in many instances and ps4 pro in few areas drops to like 20fps(clearly its not consol struggling just poor optimalization/memory leak). Story starts pretty strong and sucks you into Anno world but later on really nothin gets explained properly. Side quests are fun and devs clearly understand cyberpunk genre much better then 2077 but there is very few quests, there are posters, lore bits scattered evetywhere however game world is extremely small.If for music and pixel cyberpunk inspired style graphics this game would be 10/10 but its clearly unfinished.
I give this game 5/10 unfortunately(its been really long since i felt dissapointed in game that much)
