This game was such a treat to play. For how bad Cyberpunk failed it felt like this game gave me that surreal cyberpunk like fix I was hoping for. I REALLY hope this game gets a sequel.
Even with the good Ending I am not quite satisfied. So many things did not get cleared up: "WHO was it that C wanted to save?" I want to know! "WHO was the faceless lady? Where did she disappear to?" "WHERE is the asshole 'Doktor' that tricked Ann?" "What happened to his Son and in what relation stands he to US?" "This K person! WE never got to talk to him after being so f***ing mysterious on the boat, talking about TIMETRAVEL! Did he talk about our Ann there?" Where is my clear-up? I am dying of curiosity! THAT WAS MY DRIVING FORCE THROUGH THE GAME! Where are the answers? Does anybody know them?
I think it was planned for a second game to further the story in the future but will depend on the sales if there will ever be a second game and therefore closure or not :S

If I remember correctly C originally became this superhuman entity through a wish gone wrong from the little wizard girl. Why such a wish was uttered I do not know anymore if I ever did. Then in his somehow crazy state he wanted to destroy the world by freeing Amok, right? But was it really Amok he wanted to save even when he was still sane? World destruction cannot have been is original goal then he would have saved nobody at all. The question that comes to me then is to what relation stands he to Amok-Ann. Why care about an Ann of another dimension so much that he normally should have never been able to meet while giving a shit about his own dimension's version? What the hell happened then to turn this other Ann into Amok in the first place? Has she also been possessed like C? Whatever it was then, must have been something involving him to care so much. Then again, I honestly would have liked an ending where Ann could have fused with her other half without destroying the world. What hate must be broodling inside this entity? What must have happened for something like that? I can see why C could feel sorry for her since I smell a tragedy. I wouldn't call trying to deliberately denying a good ending a 'save' for Ann but I guess you meant saving Amok through denying Ann the original good ending? Like seen that would only lead to world destruction thus isn't a 'save' for either I guess. I just wonder what decisions C was originally trying to make when he was still sane. @@Cyon2012 I currently played the game and here some explanations C never wanted to save amok he just wanted to free her because that was his only way to hinterland since consortium already rejected his project about opening a gate (begining cutscene). The person he wants to save is Dr.D. Remember when C and G talked. G says forcing a gate to other side was madness but then C says consortium already opened a gate to hinterland and that causes lots of deaths. He shows abnormaly high anger to council because of that. He was talking about northern program. In this event they used 01, 02, 03 to open a gate to Hinter 01 and 02 could open small but stable gates meanwhile 03 could make larger but terribly unstable gates counsil decided to use injection on 03 for the sake of increasing stability and wideness of the gate . Dr.D, supervisor of this program, was against the idea and she insisted council to stop project. After getting injections 03 opened a gate but then lost control and gate started to widen infinetly in size. That gate destroyed %40 of the consortium and lots of personals including Dr.D lost in the hinterland. Remember after you beat C's dragon there is a scene where G says to C "She wanted me to take care of you" there is a room you can find a picture that shows C, G and D going to ice skiing. You can say they were closed friends (C and D can be closer you know). Amok first appeared at the great rift incident wich happens later than northern program. Long story short D guess she can die because of the stupity of program and talked with G for C, C was angry to Council because of their recklesness, and than he tries to awaken amok for opening a gate to Hinterland for finding D
Dr.Alan s son had a brain illness. He tried to crate an AI in a ROM to used it to keep his son alive but it failed and Mitchelle is dead. After this council wants to hire Alan because of his succesfull AI project. Yes son is dead but he succeed to create an AI and Consortium wanted him for 06(Ann's) emoitonal state. Alan used Mitchelle to erase Ann's past traumas and they kinda became friend but then C wanted to used Mitcelle and awakene Ann's traumas to make her unstable with that he could awaken Amok when Alan made Ann forget about Mitchelle and when Consortium soldiers came for him he transported Mitchelles AI. With that C couldnt get MI (Mitchelles AI) and when Ann came to lab she could defeat MI and break free herself from that AI and its dangers. Other than that they were using MI to crate a opening on Ann and get data from her. After Ann defeated MI Ayane said she cant get any data from Ann anymore. About Dr.Alan after Consortium took him he somehow managed to escape from them (there is a computer in Consortuim data room that says Alan gone missing). We don't know his whereabouts i think they save it for the next game
this good ending is so CCP audited-- trust the consortium (aka the "government"), they're the good guys. Even when they look like they're the bad guys, it's all for the sake of the good. Get rid of your personal freedoms because the consortium does no wrong, they're doing all they can to help all the people in the world of all of the evil. Jesus man, any other game, the "good ending" would have been a bad ending, where you put on a collar in which a secret organization can track and control you however you like, with family members as hostages. The bad ending in contrast seems like more of a good ending than the original good ending, where Ann just obediently puts on the collar and the credits roll.
You... do understand WHY she puts the collar on, right? If she doesn't, that eldritch world ending abomination known as Amok WILL break free and end the fucking world. The Circle Consortium is literally offering her a chance to keep Amok sealed, while also living a normal, safe life. Piss off. And besides, the Circle Consortium is literally just a renamed SCP Foundation.
in the good ending she doesnt need any restraints because she was able to win agaisnt amok and has no need to wear any "collar" bc the government said so, so idk what u on but ok

These endings feel so weirdly cheap. Where's the voice acting? The rest of the game had it, so why is it absent at the very end during all the resolutions? Just makes everything seem so hollow and rushed...
I think they had too many ideas and had to cut them out already half way through. Like what was that kid that turned into a mech and kept saying about some promise, masked woman stays completely unexplained, sudden time travelling for no reason. Also the portal guy and his ice girl companion definitely had more weight in the story
@@junpeistupei4481 first you need to beat the game where you see a diffrent ending after that you will be back at menu You'll have a new option return to consortium, do that for the trophies then return to main menu and you will see a new option called eve of an ending. Play that to get the new endings
You have to successfully hack a place in Dr. Allen's base, then there would be a dimension rift somewhere later, then you have to fight sigrid and win.
