    Did you grow it that thick from just those size pots the whole time? I have a jade & freshly getting into the hobby, need to know if I need to put in big pot or do what you said with trimming and growing more foliage

    You exceptionally and very aesthetically maintaining jades for many years. Great!
    I have few old jades on open terrace. This is mid of rainy season in Delhi (India) having scattered rain. New leaves are coming in plenty but some thick branches are drying out and falling. How to save these plants? Is it overwatering or any other issues. Pl. suggest.

    • @m.a4277
      @m.a4277 2 роки тому

      Really late reply but it’s most likely getting overwatered due to the rain

    loved it.I got a question I just got my Portulacaria Afra from the ground I got a think trunk and put it in a 1 gallon nursery pot I left some leaves on them and prune a little roots ,I noticed the leaves on My Port getting thin is that normal?My small Port cuttings is doing good after 3 weeks I see some new shoots to them

    • @LittleJadeBonsai
      @LittleJadeBonsai  4 роки тому +1

      It's normal. The new growth on a defoliated tree or newly repotted tree always come in thin but with plump up in no time.

    • @Jon_Villanueva

      Little Jade Bonsai thank you,now I have peace of mind .If you can next time if you could show us how to safely repot your Port Afra
