How do you keep the plane? My fans just wiggle around, my thumb gets stuck or I lose the fan..they just fly off. I'm an advanced hooper and I'm very familiar with flowers and how to spin a circular object (like a hoop or the ring in the fan) but I really don't know. Is it the weight distribution on the fan that makes it more difficult? -_____-

It's not easy to see your problem from the description, but in my case the ring is just 1-2cm wider than my palm so if I feel the plane in turning I can just turn the palm a little. To prevent flying off, I spread my fingers, and the other side has thumb, so the ring always stays on the palm (but it again requires right ring diameter). The weight distribution matters, but not that much, you can spin any fans...

How many inches are your grips? Mine are too big and I cannot make my hand fill the whole ring. Very helpful video though!

If it's bigger by 1-2 cm than your palm it's totally fine. It should not be tightly fit to the hand width. Mine are about 8.5. cm, which is width of my palm + 1 cm or so.

I have russian grip fans with small hands that don't fill up the whole circle. Does that mean it won't work for me? :(

It's okay, usually the ring should be 1-2 cm wider than your palm, otherwise it's hard to spin. Even if you have a bigger gap, it might actually make the flowers easier. But harder for some other moves.
