@@nikitamohan3390 Exactly that is the reason I completed this show in one go (12:30 am to 05:15 am). It was not like that it is a thriller where there is a cliffhanger at the end of every episode but still it kept me hooked in. It has the malgudi days feel to it. And lastly if Indianness of India will be shown with honesty it will be liked by Indians. You can easily watch it again and I can assure that all the simple moments that made you smile in the first viewing will do the same in second viewing. 👌
The actors playing Vikas and Prahlad were so great too.

What a web series.. I was blown away by a very simple, elegant, natural and authentic show.. Simplicity is most underrated thing in web series.. All the best to team.. Chandan roy and faisal malik hote toh kasam se majaa hi aa jaata .. Tvf dil ko chune wala content produce kar raha hai. . I get disheartened by common plot of web series showing only brutality, sex or terror and then a simple web series comes to make me fall in love with this alternate medium again

Panchayat is the proof that there is no formula for success, genuine quality trumps every formula.
Raghu Sir, do you remember ..there was a Bengali film ..u were the protagonist..'Damu'..my goodness..your simplicity..we have never seen you to act..you always behave..and that's what makes you a legend. I still cry when I see you in Damu..your innocence...then I saw Panchayat..thanks for bringing the fragrance of simplicity through this movie to us..
Panchayat was one series I could watch with my in laws and kid around.. it was so good to have everyone together watch something instead everyone watching everything on there own gadgets individually.
Two things I love about Jeetu: 1. At such a young age, he already seems to be an accomplished actor. Many actors take years to grow as an actor and hone their skills, but it's like he does it naturally and effortlessly. 2. Acting with eyes and subtle expressions; something I really missed in cinema recently, especially in Hindi cinema. And oh! There's a third one: His "silent charm" in Ayushmann Khurrana's words. ^_^
I loved his acting in Kota factory 😍😍😍and shubh magal jyaada savdhan...
And being a beginner in Bollywood industry..it really need guts to do a flim based on LGBTQ community in debue film ....he is simply cute yarr ...

Pradhan jee aur Chandan was the sole of Panchayat without whom this whole season was not possible ..Chandan nailed it !
First time a show on OTT which full family can watch together.Kids loved it and the script and actors nailed it.
Believe it or not, most of the part of the story relates to my life. I joined in SBI in a rural area in bihar in 2010 where even electricity was not there, I lived there for 3 years. I used to keep emergency light in my room. My branch used to function on generator. I had to stay for few days in a petrol pump godown with just one chowki (wooden bed) and a bedsheet in the beginning. There were many things I related in this series, it really reminded me of those days.
Coincidentally jeetu's character name was same as mine.
They kept it simple, which I believe is the hardest thing to do.

"Panchayat" is a beautiful show guys. So realistic, natural and is very laid-back in a good way. Reminded me of 'Malgudi days'. No huge political drama or like Masand said, romanticizing of rural India. Just the easygoing simple dilemmas. A must watch. Also, this is the first time I have seen a rural based show where 3 cast members have equal prominence. Well done TVF!

I used to watch Mungerilaal ke haseeen sapney when I was growing up. I totally forgot the story but I still remember vividly Mr. Raghuvir Yadav! So nice to see that he is still getting good roles! Way to go! I will definitely watch Panchayat. Thank you Rajeev
Loved the show. My wife and I, have already binged watched it twice. We stay in Germany and this show is a great hit among the Indian community. I have also asked few of my German friends to see panchayat, if they want to experience real India. More power to you TVF. And special mention for the actors who played Prahlad and Vikas. Support cast was yum and so is the music.

U should have interviewed Vikas and Prahlad also... they were the backbone of the show... nevertheless enjoyed this conversation... Raghuvir yadav ji is certainly one of the best actors we have today but highly underrated and under utilised... thanks to panchayat team for making a great family show.... don’t want season 2 to fall in usual cliched love story between jitu and pradhan’s daughter though !!!!!
Every character contributes to the flow of show, that's one of the things I love about it. No one is the show stealer or ultimately more important than others. That's what makes it such a consistent and believable show.

You were right in praising Vikas and Prahlad, but you took it too far when you called them the "backbone" of the show. The backbone of the show were the 3 guys whom Rajma interviewed. As simple as that!

This is my story that Jeetu told in panchayat....I got a job of junior basic teacher in a small village....my father sent me forcefully to joined it n here I am in this small village of mine, where I never want to came.... everything was same, felt loneliness, got irritated and frustrated even went into depression...tried to clear some more exams to escape this place.... succeeded also but ultimately couldn't leave it.....n now after six years of my job here, I started realising that I have changed n can't live in a city anymore... obviously I miss my city, my friends, my carefree life but still something is here that stopped me to go anywhere else

I loved the show so much, I'm literally coaxing people to watch it. I'm totally invested in the characters, none of them are perfect yet so lovable.
Panchayat is best webseries of present time. People r tired of negativity and want positive ppl and positive stories now. We r going back to same old doordarshan days when v used to get good serials full.of soul. Just see how retelecast of Mahabharat Ramayan and Vyomesh bakshi has broken all records of viewership in present times. Finally, our web series r emerging better than our films now.

It has a feel good factor. Really loved the show, it is sad that 2nd season is not coming anytime soon because of pandemic and lock-down. My favorite character is Vikas played by Chandan Roy. He spoke authentic Bihari dialect.

I don't know whether many can relate to the loneliness and character of abhishek aka sachiv...but being a PSB banker. I have experienced the same when was posted in a remote village where there was nothing,VSAT connectivity,long queues of innocent villagers, politics of local. My only friends were the local staff,had people gifting milk and vegetables. There were instances when I hated that place but now being transferred to a metropolitan I miss it(here we are more alone than I was in that village). Panchayat is one of the best show and will always be my Fvrt. 😊😊
