my god this actor has been in eight separate films each nominated for acadamy oscar awards!! no other indian performer has managed that... please govt of lndia give him a padma bhushan at least! even vidya balan and priyanka chopra have padma shri!!
Gosh what a talent. Why is this guy not in the limelight?? A true true gem of the soil and a master thespian. I was a kid when I saw Maisey Saab and saw it on doordarshan black and white TV. Even as a kid I felt the impact of his performance. It was sooo authentic that I was thinking about it for weeks and I must have been around 10 or 11 at that time. Truly remarkable actor.
his character chillim in salam bombay was the best ever steller performance in world cinema...truly realistic and greatest actor..but unfortunately average cinema lover in India never recognized him, still hovering around below medicore superstars
