I wasn't making much per month profit and probably would have been less expensive to keep it empty for 3 years while I was on deployment.

I think I would opt for replacing that carpet with asphalt before I would put more carpet in there 😆. Stopped installing carpet in rentals years ago and will never go back!
Especially with today's modern vinyl floors. I had commercial grade luxury vinyl tile installed on 3 levels of our quad level home nearly 5 years ago. The only exception where we had new carpet installed were on 2 staircases, because that was the easiest and most cost effective way to cover them at that time.
For leaning stuff like built up grime on doors and trim, even on walls sometime depending on what type of color you use, I would recommend the Magic eraser. I'ts a white sponge like thing that is common in most general stores.

I'm the cleaner.
@@TheHandyman1 Hi HDYMN! I assume at least some of this is coming out of their deposit? Above and beyond typical maintenance (and a move out checklist that mirrors the move in checklist about condition and cleaning at our rentals), the above and beyond is tagged to the deposit to pay for damages and repairs.
What was that at 23:25? shooting party !
Bob Ross Handyman.
I was thinking the same thing watching it back.
Is it hard not spilling paint everywhere working with no masking
I am surprised you didn't have gloves on, but each to their own.
They are treated with mustard and asbestos
Safety 3rd!!! Lol
Keeps the immune system in check lol
do you have a website ?
you remember being a little kid and screwing up a simple process like opening your milk? :) Just like that can of paint
Why do all the walls look like cave walls? What happened to the plaster?
Dam. Your worried about getting shot? What city are you in?
Dog hair...it's not only a fashion accessory, but a condiment too. Ha
Wait he’s in Florida? I thought he worked in Portland.
You're saying in this video that all these repairs that you're doing are coming from a deposit correct just wondering and thanks for sharing appreciate all the info
A lot of it falls under normal wear and tear. You can't charge for that.
@@TheHandyman1 Having to clean everything and change the carpet due to pet stains is not normal wear and tear. I believe you said those carpets were just installed 2 years ago. The landlord can definitely keep some/all of the security deposit here.
God that "texture" looks so awful. Here in Canada pretty much nationwide we hate texture on our interior walls. The texture you did on that big bedroom and bath reno also looked terrible.
Not that you did a bad job on it, it just looks really, really messy and kinda gross.
Haven't watched in a while, I must say you look 10 years younger by shaving your beard.
