Fantastic video Phil I pre ordered this box set from Amazon before it came out a fantastic box set I recommend if you fans out there want this get it fast there seems to be a low print on this item mine took a month to get it and I pre ordered it get this box set fast all fantastic LP’s by the greatest bass player who ever lived to walk the planet it was a honor to meet Mr. Entwistle quite a few times on his solo tours and left for dead tour standing a few feet from the wizard of the bass guitar was a experience I will never forget and a very very nice guy in person god rest his soul a good human being that’s for sure he autographed every item I gave him unbelievable how super nice he was RIP Mr Entwistle the world lost the greatest ever --- Anthony ( queens NYC)

Thanks for the unboxing reviews Phil you do such a great job...grabbed the Entwistle box for a really good price even though I'm not a fan of the early 60's sounding stuff on Rigor Mortis and Mad Dog and will probably never play them the other 4 albums were well worth the price.
I was going to ignore this box set until your review - like you, I'd never really given any attention to John Entwistle's solo albums. I then dug out a few tracks that you mentioned on UA-cam and I realised his stuff needs more exploration. I was also quite shocked at the increasing price on the usual sites but managed to pick one up for a penny short of £50 on our favourite auction site - looking forward to receiving it.
Love this box Phil John Entwistle's albums now hard to find so the albums and extra tracks! Love them with his sense of humour! Too late the hero with Joe Walsh always a personal favourite! 👍
Loved his first album, Second one was fine. I thought Too late the Hero was ok, but let's just say wasn't for me. Liked the cover and title of his third one, I could see the appeal of a pre punk call to arms to simpler music, but who the heck wants to hear 1973 covers of Mr Bass Man and Hound Dog? Glad this is available but the only thing I'd want to listen on it would be the demos for the first two albums.

I saw John in 1980 solo and then with Ringo's All Stars. Saw the Who in 1978. Right after Keith was gone. One of my heroes. RIP.

Was the Rigor Morris album cover reversed England vs USA? My copy (US) is the opposite of this box set version.
