love the floor, the biggest thing you did that made this video spot on was using extra floor adhesive. As no matter what you tell people they buy these peel and stick planks, lay it down without and then complain when they begin to lift etc. I laid a similar product in my bedroom 7 months ago. It was a long process due to.the size of my room it took 4 days. It was wortg the effort, everyone thought I had a professional lay it. I used extra adhesive based on reading the poor reviews and have not had any issues. Thank you for showing how your peel and stick planks remain stuck down.

Now, I'm sitting right infront of you, but how long does the adhesive stay tacky? The end result is amazing, love herringbone.

Hi, that's a great question. unfortunately there's no simple answer for that. Water based adhesive products like what i used in this video, can be effected quickly by most variables it comes in contact with such as room temperature, sunlight, draught and how porous the subfloor is (primer will help with this) All of these things plus your type of product will change how long it takes. The best thing you can do if its your first time using a product is read the instructions, do a test patch and start with a small area first until you get a feel for the specific product. i hope this helps

You’re lucky, my flooring is thick so I HAVE to circular saw it and it isn’t flexible so I don’t have the advantage of folding it against corners to cut it easily. 😢

Do you roll the floor after

I've never rolled after laying vinyl planks and have never had any issues with the planks lifting.
It's definitely good practice to do so but i find it to be unnecessary during initial install as most adhesives are pressure sensitive and just walking over the floor will "set" the planks.
